If you are looking for an amazing wedding venue look no further! Newlands is beyond incredible and we are so so happy we decide to book with them. Special mention to Michelle Lana in photography, Lisa in the design studio, Linda the DJ coordinator and Jessalyn/Charlene as our coordinator. You all made this experience incredible and such a dream day we will never forget. They are all so helpful and kind and truly know what they’re doing! There are so many choices of ballrooms to fit everyone’s needs. During our design appointment we didn’t feel pressured or tricked into paying outside of our budget and everything was explained so clearly. If you are looking for an amazing wedding venue look no further! Newlands is beyond incredible and we are so so happy we decide to book with them. Special mention to Michelle Lana in photography, Lisa in the design studio, Linda the DJ coordinator and Jessalyn/Charlene as our coordinator. There are so many choices of ballrooms to fit everyone’s needs. During our design appointment we didn’t feel pressured or tricked into paying outside of our budget and everything was explained so clearly. We found Newlands after being extremely disappointed by another venue. We attended one of the ClubWed showcases and we were hocked! We’d highly recommend attending a showcase if you can to help see everything come to light before your eyes. We’ve heard so many horror stories of vendors ghosting couples or being difficult or charging crazy amounts and we became more and more glad we went with Newlands. Everything is under one roof and boy do they do it well. We cannot recommend them enough! Even better they have vendors they work with and recommend which makes the search for additional vendors so much smoother and more trustworthy. The food was delicious, the cake was even better than we imagined, the decor was perfect and the photography was breathtaking. We couldn’t be happier and more pleased. Thank you Newlands for making our dreams come true and helping us have the wedding of our dreams

Happy wedding experience!

I recently got married at Newlands' conservatory room, and I couldn’t be happier! The planning process was so efficient, with great communication every step of the way. As a bride, it really took so much stress off my shoulders. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, and the decorations were exactly what I had envisioned. Everything came together perfectly and met all my expectations. I’m so grateful to the team at Newlands for making our special day so smooth and memorable!

Wedding at Newlands Golf and Country Club - A Dream Come True!

We recently had our wedding at Newlands Golf and Country Club, and I can confidently say it was everything we dreamed of - and more! We booked one of their wedding packages, and from the very beginning, the experience was seamless.

Our wedding coordinator, Jessalyn, was incredibly responsive and professional. She patiently answered all our questions and made booking a tour of the venue easy and convenient. Throughout the entire planning process, she and the Newlands team were so helpful and made everything run smoothly, taking a lot of the stress off our shoulders.

The food was also excellent - our guests had nothing but compliments. Everyone had a wonderful time, and many told us afterward how much they enjoyed the venue and the entire event.

Thanks to the dedicated team at Newlands, our wedding was a complete success. We are so grateful for all the effort they put into making our day unforgettable. Highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a smooth, enjoyable wedding planning experience and a stunning location!

Amazing!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Newlands! The team made everything so simple to organize from decor to photography. Our highlight was definitely working with our coordinator, Jessalyn. Shew was very flexible and accommodating to our wedding needs. She gave open and honest options within our budget! I would highly recommend Newlands as a wedding venue for couples who do not have a lot of free time to manage all the details of their wedding by themselves. Again, the staff made wedding planning, photos, and decorations so seamless and relatively stress-free!

Wedding - March 15/2025

Newlands Golf & Country Club - Club Wed is definitely the way to go when it comes to a smooth and seamless wedding. Charlene, Sherri, Lisa, Linda and our room captain Herra were all outstanding. Our DJ for the night was incredible. If you are looking for a one stop shop this is were to go for your wedding day needs. They cater everything from the simplest to the most elegant weddings. I have to say that I did not feel an ounce of stress when it came to our wedding day. It was simply marvellous. Thank you to everyone at Newlands for going above and beyond for our day!

My now husband and i booked Newlands back in 2023 when we got engaged! they were amazing and the fact that it included everything was a big stressor off me! they were very attentive when it came to the certain decor and sign touches i included! Jessalyn and her team were fantastic I'm OCD and they had everything set up just how i imagined it all and took my organization in stride! they even helped accommodate me when my picture venu fell thru due to weather! any questions or concerns i had Jessalyn was there to help me! our room captain Paul was amazing he was super attentive and was always checking in! he made it all come together...

The Wedding Of Our Dreams

We held our 80-person wedding at Newlands Club this past weekend (Jan 10) and it was the wedding of our dreams! The team at Newlands truly operates at a masterclass level when it comes to hosting weddings. As a gay couple, we were unsure how we would be received but they couldn't have made us more comfortable. The professionalism and customization offered for their wedding packages ensure everyone who books here will receive exactly what they want. We booked the Conservatory Ballroom and while we were unsure if we truly needed such a large space for an intimate gathering, we are so glad we booked it. The glass panels provide such a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony and reception...

The professionalism and customization offered for their wedding packages ensure everyone who books here will receive exactly what they want. We booked the Conservatory Ballroom and while we were unsure if we truly needed such a large space for an intimate gathering, we are so glad we booked it. The glass panels provide such a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony and reception combined with the fact that we added the fairy light details to make it feel as if we are in a snow globe. Lisa from the design studio really helped us along the way to navigate how our vision would be executed in the Newlands fashion and she couldn't have done a better job!

The food was incredible as well, we had the boneless lemongrass chicken, chana masala curry, herb-crusted snapper and carved lamb. My only complaint is that I didn't eat more! Sal, our Room Captain made sure that the tables were fed in a nice order and the service was amazing. My one caveat was the bar, it was a fairly simple bar service more so offering highball-type drinks with limited capacity for more intricate cocktails. There was, however, an offering of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic punch during the room flip which kept our guests happy while we took photos; in addition to wine bottles on each table and a champagne toast.

Speaking of photos, Sherri was the best photographer we could have asked for. We also got our engagement photos done with her and she offered such expertise in lighting and posing. On our actual wedding day, she helped us with location selection and we couldn't have been happier with the sneak peaks we have seen so far! We also opted for the photo booth which was such a hit with our guests so totally recommend that!

As for the music, which is so important, Linda and DJ Anesh were incredible! Music at weddings can be hard, but Anesh made sure the vibes were immaculate and everyone was dancing all night!

And finally, Charlene, our Wedding/Event Coordinator truly went above and beyond! Answering our 1,000,000 emails and even helping us get to our different shooting locations. She helped line us up when it was time to go and helped ensure the wedding went flawlessly. The team at Newlands truly does an incredible job and we would 1,000,000% recommend it for anyone looking to take the pain out of weddings and just basically show up! The all-inclusive option made it so painless, we truly just had to tell them what we wanted and they made it all happen.

Amazing experience

My wife and I got married at Newlands in the Conservatory Ballroom almost 30 years ago, my brother got married at Newlands in the Copper Ballroom 17 years ago, and my daughter got married at Newlands in the Cypress Ballroom last weekend.

For my daughter's wedding, multiple guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Our coordinator Charlene was excellent, keeping us on track and being very responsive to questions. On the day, our room captain Gustavo was super amazing and professional, and he even helped us carry the gifts to our car at the end. The photographer was also very good and everyone loved working with her. The DJ was practically invisible...

The photographer was also very good and everyone loved working with her. The DJ was practically invisible in that everything just worked without a single hiccup. The room and the decorations and the flowers were beautiful. I'd attach some pictures but they don't really do it justice, since the camera adjusts the lighting and it looks very different than it did in person.

We had both the ceremony and the reception there, as well as the rehearsal dinner the previous night. It was great to have the lounge upstairs for people to relax in between the ceremony and reception. The rehearsal dinner on Friday night was an especially pleasant surprise thanks to the live music and lots of people dancing adding to the overall party-like atmosphere.

Thank you Newlands for a magical and unforgettable night.
