  Exceptional staff !

  The manager was more than accommodating when our planner forgot to tell them a few details ( like champagne bottles at the head table) he went out of his way to get those bottles and upgraded a bottle to a very nice expensive one. He also went out of his way to get the chefs to make some chicken fingers and french fries for all the kids that were under 6 that attended (they weren't into the fancy food) that our wedding planner also forgot to mention to him that it would be kids meals. End of the day he and his staff for the reception were exceptional! We were absolutely thrilled that the were able to do everything in a quick pinch and we're appreciate it !

  Great hidden Gem!

  My daughter and now husband chose Mt. Norquay for their wedding venue after looking at several locations in Banff and Canmore. Mt. Norquay was their last visit and were so pleasantly surprised! They loved the drive up, the mountain views, the venue space itself, the fact that it was an intimate and private setting and that it also happened to be the most reasonably priced. And then meeting with the event manager, Teha, confirmed their decision. My daughter said she was on time (not the case everywhere), could answer every question they had and was completely straightforward as to what the venue offered. Once the decision was made to book with My. Norquay, Teha and her team continued to be incredibly responsive in every way - she responded to very single inquiry within a day (sometimes even on weekends, which wasn’t at all required), gave lots of helpful suggestions based on her experience and tried to accommodate each of our requests to personalize the menu and venue space specific to our needs. We cannot say enough about Teha as the manager of Mt. Norquay, the bar and food staff and the venue itself - everything was clean and spacious and it was so comforting knowing that if the weather didn’t cooperate, we had a back up indoor space onsite. The space isn’t air conditioned, but was comfortable enough during dinner- a bit warm early on dancing, but the spacious deck was a great place to hang out until it cooled off. Everyone was on the dance floor soon enough. Thanks again to everyone for making the day so special for my daughter and for giving us every confidence that any situation would be dealt with in a professional manner. We would 100% recommend Mt. Norquay as the location for a Banff wedding. Teha, I will say it again…you ROCK!

  Dream wedding come to life!

  Teha and the team at Norquay were amazing. We feel so lucky a friend suggested we check out Norquay after we'd been having some struggles finding the right venue. Norquay was perfect for what we wanted. Teha was very responsive and helpful leading up to the day. The setup the day before was a breeze, same for cleanup the day after. On our actual wedding day, things went very smoothly. We got so many compliments about the food, the firepits and s'mores (so fun!), how nice the staff was to the kids and helping get kids meals, and the list goes on. Definitely recommend. Our summer mountain dream wedding was wonderful!

  Cannot say enough good things!

  Mount Norquay was an absolutely incredible venue for our wedding. Not only was it stunning, but the staff were very helpful, Teha is extremely knowledgeable and a quick communicator, and the cost was reasonable. I will 100% recommend this venue to other brides.

  Perfect day

  We could not have asked for better from Norquay! Everything was done exactly as they said it would be, they were incredibly helpful when it came to set-up and tear-down of the decorations, and Teha really knows her stuff! I found her very knowledgeable and helpful as we planned.

  Amazing venue!

  We had the most magical day possible at Norquay. Teha and her team are absolutely incredible. We had such a stress-free time planing our wedding because Teha was there to help and support the whole time. She answered countless questions and was absolutely 100% dedicated to ensuring that WE had an amazing time as well as our guests. Even when things went awry (torrential downpour when we were supposed to get married outside), the Norquay team sprung into action, switched our ceremony site to indoors, and continued to make sure all our guests were comfortable, happy, and well served! The bar staff and servers were also amazing and provided top tier service. The food was also amazing!
  Highly recommend getting married at Norquay, we had the time of our life.

  Perfect venue!

  Mount Norquay was the perfect venue for our wedding! The staff was so helpful and great to work with throughout the planning and executed everything beautifully on our wedding day. The food was incredible and we heard so much praise from our guests on their meals. We are truly thrilled with our experience and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect mountain location!

  Service was fine up until the full amount was near paid. Teha then began to act as if it was her wedding & she wanted things her way.

  The location is beautiful but the lodge itself was very old. For the cost, it’s not so bad but the food could have been better. Supper was very late. The steaks were way too rare & they served chicken drum sticks. The bartender didnt know much drinks & we brought our own decor so I think it was just over priced for the service provided. Your paying for your own DJ & they don’t have the proper set up to accommodate the devices to plug in. Just a terrible experience overall. I wish it was worth what we thought was worth the investment. Thanks Teha.

  It's a shame that you did not share with us your feedback at any point during the evening or even six months post your wedding. It was only AFTER your unpaid invoice was sent to collections that you decided to voice your discontent. It's unfortunate that you did not wish to take us up on the multiple offers we made to create a payment plan.
  
  Although I can't stop you & others from leaving poor reviews online, I can use this review as a reminder to others that regardless of where you're booking your event, make sure you have a clear understanding of the package offered and contract before you sign it.

  Teha and her team were incredible to work with.
  Our wedding day was everything we could’ve asked for and our guests are still raving about it. Food and bar services were awesome and everything was well organized

Due to covid, we had been working with Teha for two years planning this day and she was always very responsive, honest, and helpful. On our wedding day, the team at Mt. Norquay had everything down to perfection - the setup, the food, drinks, shuttle - everything was PERFECT! We experienced the random mountain downpours and as soon as the rain stopped the Norquay team was out on the patio drying all the furniture so guests could be outside.
  We are so pleased with our experience and truly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a mountain wedding.
