Explore the historical, romantic wedding venue of the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, located in Toronto, Ontario. It is situated in Toronto's Corktown neighbourhood and is regarded as the oldest school in the city. Originally built in 1848 as a one-room school, the site's West Hall was added in 1869.
Facilities and Capacity
The venue features expansive event spaces from which couples can choose. The Schoolroom, ideal for hosting ceremonies, is spread over an area of 32 feet by 34 feet. The West Hall, on the other hand, is perfect for receptions and has an event space of 48 feet by 48 feet. The venue has the capacity to comfortably accommodate a total of 150 guests. Celebrations can also be held at the Salon, which covers an area of 27 feet by 27 feet of space. Finally, The Centre Hall is ideal for hosting a cocktail hour.

Lovely experience!
We got married at Enoch Turner in 2019, and it was perfect from start to finish. Stacey was responsive; the food vendors we could choose from were all wonderful (our wedding food was truly spectacular); and the venue itself was unique and gorgeous. Our guests had a great time.

Terrible experience with Stacy at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse
The most unprofessional and unreliable host I have ever met. No value for clients time or scheduled invites. Stacy does not take the time to understand clients needs and does not stand by her word. She was reaver reachable through phone, text or email. Cancels at the last moment and blamed us for showing up a few minutes early even though we got there and waited till our scheduled time. She did not even have the courtesy to show up, instead she reponded 18 minutes after our scheduled appointment to ask to reschedule. The most terrible experience at a beautiful venue!
Unless they change their management/ host I do not recommend this location unless you want to be disappointed.
