Welcome to the Bergthal Event Centre, a stunning new wedding venue located in the country 45 minutes north of the Calgary airport, just off of highway 2! In the beautiful southern Alberta countryside, the Bergthal Event Centre offers the perfect backdrop on which to plan your special day. Bergthal is a historic church, and welcomes everyone to gather and celebrate life's special moments in this space! We truly want everyone to experience the timeless and classic beauty that Bergthal has to offer.

The Bergthal Event Centre was originally built in the mid 1900's but was recently renovated to combine it's history with modern comfort and convenience for event planning. Unique features include a classic sanctuary with its large, bright windows, original wooden pews, a grand piano which can used for ceremony music, and large trees surrounding the property. Clients will be able to access all of these features on their wedding day!

Most importantly, Bergthal is committed to offering affordable wedding packages that won't require guests to sacrifice timeless beauty or comfort. Our various rental packages and details can be found on our website, but a pricing summary is as follows:

• Basic Weekend Package | May - September: $4,000 | October - April: $3,350

• Deluxe Weekend Package | May - September: $4,850.00 | October - April: $4,000

• Weekend Outdoor Only Package | May - September: $2,000

• Friday or Saturday Only Package | May - September: $3,000 | October - April: $2,500

• Weekdays & Weeknights (Sunday - Thursday)

  • 2 Day (May-Sept: $2,500 | Oct-April $2,150)

  • Full day (May-Sept: $2,000 | Oct-April $1,650)

  • Weeknight (May-Sept: $1,650 | Oct-April: $1,375)

• A newly renovated banquet hall with seating for 150 with tables and chairs provided

Location: The Bergthal Event Centre is located 15 minutes southeast of Didsbury, which is roughly 45 minutes north of Calgary and an hour south of Red Deer.
