I was extremely disappointed by this venue's lack of communication and professionalism. My partner and I loved the look of it, but were completely ghosted by Heidi. We initially sent an inquiry through their website on May 25, then followed up by email on June 7 as they had not replied. They finally sent us an info package, to which we replied with some questions on June 8. After no response, we followed up AGAIN on June 15, and we never heard from them again. They also never answered the phone even though my partner called them multiple times. We ended up going with a different venue altogether, since this one refused to communicate with us or treat us professionally as potential clients.

Heidi and her team were very easy to work with. They are incredibly experienced and had every detail covered without me having to put much effort in.
Her space is so beautiful and elegant that I skipped any centerpieces or additional decor, saving a lot of time and cost.
I didn't need to do place settings or a seating chart, as you simply give her a guest list with table numbers and her staff directs each guest to their table as they enter the reception.
The menu based dinner saved a lot of hassle chasing down guests for rsvp's as they could choose their dinner options at the table.
The garden venue for the ceremony was exquisite, my guests all gushed about how lovely the garden/setting was. I hired a string trio for the ceremony as well.
After the ceremony cocktail hour was also in the garden and the hor d'oeurves were delicious! I still have guests telling me how good they were.
Her cocktails were beautiful and tasty.
Dinner was 4 courses and everyone loved it!
The dance floor was large enough for our 74 person event and her sound tower plus the Spotify playlist I put together saved me a lot of money (no DJ, no problem!).
If you're worried about having an outdoor ceremony, the Museum of Dufferin down the road has a cute historic white chapel on their ground that we rented as a backup venue for about $700.
I also had a photobooth set up in the garden as party favor for my guests, it was a big hit!
After dinner everyone was spread out between the dancefloor, relaxing at her outdoor garden tables under the stars, or taking silly photos at the photobooth. It went until midnight and was perfect!
Heidi also rents out an 1800s historic church-turned-cottage 5 doors down from her restaurant for her brides to stay in. I booked it for the night before and the night of the wedding. She let us check in and out as early/late as we wanted. I spent the day and night before my wedding there with my maid of honor, relaxing in what really should be a historic museum! The day of all of the women in the family came for an hour before the ceremony to get ready with the photographer and help me relax. My husband and I spent most of Sunday there relaxing and reading all of our wedding cards. We took most of our pictures at the cottage, and you'll see for yourself, it's worth it for the pictures alone!
If you want to skip all the tiny details that make being a bride such a pile of work, choose Mrs. Mitchell's. You'll have a perfect weekend your guests will gush about that required very little from you!

The atmosphere at Mrs. Mitchell’s Restaurant is fantastic. The service was awesome, and the food was great. It was a perfect spot to celebrate our work success with friends and colleagues. The conversation flowed easily in such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience!

Heidi and her team are extremely professional and made sure our wedding day ran smoothly without a single speedbump! The gardens were beautiful, the food was bountiful and delicious and our guests have been raving about it since. The restaurant is already so beautifully decorated and so quaint, it was exactly what we wanted. It was the most perfect day! Thank you, Heidi and Team!
