Everything else was amazing. We got so many compliments about the food, the staff were very polite and accommodating, the restaurant decor is already beautiful as is. All the little changes we requested were carried out flawlessly.
The only advice I have for the venue is provide couples a copy of their photo permit. We were taking photos on the property and were stopped by the onsite security. He was not friendly at all and assumed that we didn’t have our permit. Our groomsmen had to run to the venue to grab the manager.
Overall, this is a very beautiful venue. Highly recommended.

Simply the best
It’s been over a year since our wedding at Jump and I still can’t find adequate words to describe how impressive they are. The restaurant patio backs into a gorgeous courtyard which is empty on the weekend since they’re in the financial district. Inside is rich and warm, elevated without being cold and uncomfortable. The food, a religious experience.
Great care is taken at every step by the event coordinator and management. We wanted to pull off the impossible and plan a top notch wedding in 6 months before we moved across the country. Jennifer’s attention to detail left us feeling at ease in a very logistically dense time.
Day of went perfectly. Zosha ran the show. I barely had to make eye contact with her and she would make her way over to see if I needed anything. I think she’s a mind reader or just the most astute cue reader ever. Regardless, the two faces we really remember deserve so much praise. We went back right before we moved away for a small dinner with friends and they remembered us, gave us a champagne toast and wished us well on our move.
The kitchen staff and the servers... I WISH I took a second to go back to the kitchen and meet the people who delighted our guests with wonderful meals. The servers made a point to have fun with the guests. Thank you so much for turning on the charm and putting in such a strong effort to keep the good vibes flowing and taming any lions. It was a huge service. Weddings are messy in terms of timing and they managed to pull it off flawlessly. Wedding food is generally not the star of the show. Ours lifted everyone. I felt a sense of elation. Magic.
I’m starting to ramble and get nostalgic. It’s making me a bit hungry and also sad that I cant stop in for some of their phyllo cheesecake. That’s one of the nicest things about getting married at an institution of a restaurant such as jump. If you want to rekindle those memories you can just pop in for a cocktail and everything comes flooding back.
Jump treated our family, friends and ourselves like gold. We wanted everyone to have a really great night and they did. Any newly engaged couple has been the victim of me professing my love for this place. It’s a little unconventional, but if you just take a leap of faith you might understand why.
You guys are the best. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

The staff are incredible
Also, at least half our guests (115) told us the food was the best wedding food they had ever had.
I highly highly recommend JUMP

Hesitated on whether I would recommend...
My son and his bride hosted their wedding reception at Jump.
The restaurant said ahead of time that they could deal with any food intolerance or allergies. Well, I guess they do, but in a poor way. They take away the allergens from the dish and you just do without. I ordered the chicken. They gave me a dry piece of chicken with some over cooked and dry pieces of vegetable hidden underneath! I guess they took all the dairy away and did not bother replacing it with anything tasty or moist - olive oil would have been a simple and good start! In all fairness, other guests, without intolerances, said that the food was good.
Secondly, my drink disappeared several times - taken away by the staff before and after dinner, even from the head table! There was no need to do that on their part unless they wanted to keep pouring and adding it to the tab...
Lastly, and this is a big one: the wedding guests had 2-3 choices to pick from for first and second course. The menu items had been selected ahead of time by the family of the groom. 3 days before the wedding, my son was informed by Jump staff that because the beef tenderloin had been selected as a menu item and it was $20 more than the 2 other menu choices, he would be charged the tenderloin price for ALL GUESTS. So to make that clear, though my son was not warned ahead of time, when the menu items were being selected for his wedding reception menu, he was charged the highest price of all the entrees on the menu for ALL GUESTS, whether they had chicken, the vegetarian entree or beef tenderloin, my son was charged the tenderloin price for all guests, despite the fact that the tenderloin was $20 more than the 2 other entrees being offered to the guests.
On the day of the wedding, the staff were professional, polite and courteous.
