We had our wedding at the Ancaster Mill on October 25, 2024 and we cannot say enough positive things about this place. From the moment we first made contact with the Mill we were supported in every way imaginable. Everything ran so smoothly on the day off and they will provide you with a maître de and a concierge that will literally be with you ALL day long. Anything that needs to be dealt with they are on it. We cannot say enough positive things about our maître de, Lily and our events consultant, Katelynn and everyone else in between that made the day memorable. They even provided us with a gift which was so kind of them. All of our guests cannot stop raving about the food and the beauty of this venue. If we were to get married again it wouldn’t even be a question about where we would pick, we would pick this venue over and over again. Thank you to everyone who made our wedding day so special! -

Our recent wedding at Ancaster Mill was everything we wanted and more! The venue itself is gorgeous, and the team at Ancaster Mill really made a huge difference for us. Megan was super supportive during the planning process, and we were able to relax and enjoy our wedding thanks to our day-of concierge. Food was amazing, staff was professional and efficient. Would recommend!! -

We had our summer 2026 wedding at the Ancaster Mill and couldn’t be happier with how the planning process and final day went.
The team at the Ancaster Mill are seasoned professionals. From the initial consultation to final planning meeting, each detail of the day is carefully considered - it helped us feel like no detail would be missed (even details we didn’t know we needed to think about!) because they were on the ball. We had the pleasure to work with Megan. She is amazing!
The day-of experience was absolute perfection. From the staff dedicated to us (you’re the best, Taitum!), to the servers who made the guest experience great, it was absolutely top notch. The entire Ancaster Mill team coordinates things so seamlessly, and we were able to just stay present and enjoy the day. Also, the food was incredible! Honestly, even better on our wedding day than at our tasting. We look forward to celebrating our future anniversaries at the Ancaster Mill.

Ancaster Mill is a bit more expensive than some other venues, but you truly get what you pay for. So many of the little details that you might otherwise have to plan, coordinate, rent, or worry about are simply taken care of.
First, the team is incredibly organized and takes SO MUCH of the guesswork out of wedding planning, from the initial consultation and booking to the wedding day. There are so many moving pieces to a wedding, and the team handles an enormous amount of them so you can just be present and enjoy your day. From personalized menus to little baked goods for guests to take home, they have thought through all the little things that make a wedding feel special.
Second, the day-of service is truly next level. You get two dedicated professionals assigned to your wedding — one focused on the couple and one focused on your guests. Taitum, who worked directly with my husband and me, was incredible. She was part project manager, part problem solver, part hype woman, and everything in between. We joked throughout the day that we could ask Taitum for pretty much anything and it would appear five minutes later. She anticipated what we needed, kept everything moving, and made us feel completely taken care at every stage without ever being intrusive. Michealangelo was equally wonderful in taking care of our guests. He was incredibly professional and attentive, and so many of our guests commented on how well they were looked after. Everyone felt like they were getting special attention, which is exactly what you want for your wedding guests.
Ultimately, what we loved most about Ancaster Mill was how easy the team made everything feel. From the planning process to the food, the beautiful setting, the little details, and especially the incredible day-of service, we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. When rain forced us to move our ceremony from the Streamside Chapel to the Miller Chapel, we didn't have to think about a thing. The team handled the switch seamlessly, directed our guests to where they needed to go, and even had a shuttle ready to bring guests to and from the chapel and reception space. We were able to just enjoy the day while they handled everything behind the scenes. That level of service is something you really appreciate on a wedding day.
If you're considering Ancaster Mill, I can't recommend it enough. You are not just paying for a beautiful venue and delicious food — you're paying for a team that knows exactly how to make your wedding day feel effortless.Ancaster Mill's reply:

The food was fantastic as well. All of our guest commented on the elegance of the venue, the natural beauty including the waterfall, the food, the service, and the organization of the event! Having the ceremony and reception so seamlessly integrated made the day flow beautifully.

Our wedding was truly the day of our dreams. I am very lucky to say that the day went through without ANY issues. The team at Ancaster mill was with me from beginning to end and ensured every moment was carefully controlled and special. I felt like a celebrity VIP the way they had everything taken care of. Shout out to our day of coordinator, Mandy, who was a real MVP! She was working tirelessly by my side the whole day, carrying my dress and coordinating all the events. We had our ceremony in the Millers Chapel and reception in the 1812 room. The grounds itself are so beautiful and rustic, it felt like we were in a fairytale! We had so many compliments on the venue, the service and the food! THE FOOD!!! There were a few minor hiccups leading up to the day - some emails not returned, some rearranging of consultants and difficulty with flexibility in terms of booking appointments. That being said, all was forgotten/ forgiven by the time the wedding had come and gone because of how fantastic they were the day of. Ancaster mill is an experienced venue and it is evident through their professionalism and ability to handle any bumps in the way. We had so much fun at the menu tasting, the rehearsal and details appointments. We also really enjoyed their vendor shows that allowed us to book other services that have experience at the venue, like our DJ. If you're looking for a highly experienced venue that basically has everything covered for you - book here! You will not regret!Ancaster Mill's reply:

I cannot recommend Ancaster Mill enough! From start to finish, they made me feel absolutely royal. Every detail was thought out and executed perfectly—timed down to a tee. The team stayed in touch throughout the entire planning process, keeping us informed and confident that everything was handled flawlessly behind the scenes.
The food was phenomenal and the signature drinks were such a personal touch. They even went above and beyond to add a lavender spritz to our fall menu just for my lavender-themed wedding—even though it was originally a summer option! That thoughtful detail meant the world to me.
On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. I truly felt like a VIP from start to finish. The level of service, care, and professionalism far exceeded my expectations—and the price honestly blew me away considering how much they did for us.

We had our reception at Ancaster Mill and it was truly and amazing experience. Their staff leading up to the event are very attentive and flexible to meet our needs. Their food is absolutely delicious, guests constantly commented this, and during the tastings we were able to make small changes to dishes or other aspects to meet our needs. On the day of we felt pampered with how much attention we got, they even had someone follow us with hors d'oeuvre while we took photos around the property.
