The Queen Elizabeth Park Celebration Pavilion is a charming venue located at the highest point in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia that hosts wedding ceremonies and other special events. With both indoor and outdoor spaces, this is a beautiful year-round setting to exchange your vows before family and friends and celebrate the beauty of finding love.
Facilities and Capacity
The facilities found at this park wedding venue include a beautiful wooden patio and surrounding garden area as a backdrop to your wedding ceremony or cocktail reception afterward. This venue comes with a private washroom and separate bridal room available for use upon request. The covered arboured boardwalk leads you and your guests into the venue and is of your exclusive use for the duration of your rental time. The Queen Elizabeth Park Celebration Pavilion can accommodate a maximum of 100 people for a ceremony, 48 for a seated reception or 65 for a standing cocktail reception. A retractable glass wall allows you and your guests to enjoy the picturesque outdoor backdrop from a covered space, if weather permits. This wheelchair-accessible venue provides additional comfort and convenience for all attendees. Pay-parking is available throughout Queen Elizabeth Park and is operated by the separate entity EasyPark.
Services Offered
The Queen Elizabeth Park Celebration Pavilion offers different rental packages depending on whether you are holding your wedding ceremony on a weekday or weekend during our high or low season. If you plan on holding your wedding reception with us, the evening reception timeslot is from 7pm-midnight, year-round. Please note that food and/or beverage cannot be accommodate for either the 2-hour or 3-hour timeslots. Included in your rental is the services of a liaison staff member, the use of 80 silver chiavari chairs with standard lecture style setup, a signing table with linen, a sound system with aux input, handheld or lapel microphones, and a red or black carpeted aisle runner. Wedding rehearsals are available upon request and solely dependant on availability.
In-person viewings with a member of the rentals department are limited and by appointment only. If you would like to visit the facility in person yourself, you are more than welcome to; the front doors are windows and you can see the space from the outside. However, if there is an event taking place, we ask that you please respect their privacy and come back another time.
