We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at this stunning greenhouse venue on November 1st, 2025. From the moment we first walked in, we knew it was something special—but on the actual wedding day, it was even more breathtaking than we imagined. The space is filled with natural beauty, gorgeous greenery, and such a unique atmosphere that you truly can’t find anywhere else. Our guests could not stop talking about how magical, warm, and unforgettable the setting was. Many told us it was the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to.

We also want to give the biggest shoutout to Alex, who oversaw our planning and wedding day. She was absolutely exceptional. Throughout the whole process, she was incredibly organized, responsive, and thoughtful, and she made everything feel calm and seamless. On the day of, she handled every detail perfectly and anticipated what we needed before we even thought of it. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made such a difference, and we are so grateful to have worked with her.

The venue team as a whole was wonderful—professional, welcoming, and truly invested in making our day special. The bartenders were also SO amazing. They were so interactive with our guests and really gave VIP service to everyone!

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind venue that’s beautiful, memorable, and supported by an amazing team, we cannot recommend this greenhouse enough. It made our wedding day truly unforgettable. I'm already trying to find an excuse to book this venue again!

We had our families wedding ceremony at Madison Greenhouse few days ago. It’s truly breathtaking. A big shoutout to Alex, and HM who was so kind and organized from the start to finish. The night manager, HM who helped everything wrap up smoothly. The venue itself is magical: both indoor and outdoor spaces. Our guests and family just enjoyed the night. The bathrooms were clean, and there’s lots of free parking. Guests loved exploring the space, Extra tables and chairs were provided by the night manager free of charge. Overall, it’s a dreamy, romantic venue.

Our venue was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. The staff (mainly Alexa was helpful and accommodating from start to finish, and everything ran smoothly. Our guests loved the space, and we are so glad we chose it, it truly made the day feel magical. I will say the venue is super expensive for what they provide, we hired everything out and our other vendors really brought it all together.

Although stunning, and our dream venue, the pricing is astronomical!!
Very hard to justify the venue pricing with extremely little inclusions.
This is a venue that you should be prepared to have to hire externally for each and every item. Beautiful space & we experienced great communication - It is simply extremely costly.

We had signed our contract with Madison Greenhouse in July 2022 and held our wedding here at the end of June 2024! The greenhouse atmosphere in the summer is absolutely magical, and the magic was felt by us and by all of our 170 guests.

Major pros:
- A super unique and picturesque setting for your wedding, making it possible (maybe even preferable imo) to do minimal decor. For example, we just stuck to fresh white hydrangeas and roses with greenery and candles, and it was absolutely beautiful while complementing the venue.
- There are 2 big in-venue bridal suites with their own private bathrooms and doorlocks. We did not have a wedding party, but we and our family members did have outfit changes throughout the event, so this was absolutely key. We ended up not needing to rent the Bridal House at all.
- Bathrooms were clean and HUGE with plenty of stalls and sinks! Very important if you’re having a big wedding.
- The venue itself is accessibility-friendly and HUGE. It's all ground-level and goes on and on and on. There are so many rooms and nooks, a lounge area, outdoor garden, and huge parking lot. Our guests explored the entire venue and they loved it.
- The bartenders and all support staff! Despite a pretty big wedding with a lot of big drinkers, there was barely ever a line-up at the bar as the bartenders provided excellent and friendly service. The venue was clean and tables and chairs were set up promptly on the day of our wedding.

Some things to be aware of:
- Madison Greenhouse has become a very sought-after venue in the GTA. They pump out both day and evening events. This means your access to the venue can be limited. We had a few hours on the day before our wedding to unload decor/alcohol, a few hours before the actual wedding to set up, and a few hours on the day after to pack up remaining items. So the set-up and logistics can be stressful if you are not completely organized or don’t have helping hands. Luckily for us, we hired a great day-of-coordinator and had family/friends to take care of things and help us out for a lot of it. I would seriously recommend hiring a professional and experienced coordinator for this reason.
- This is not an all-inclusive venue. It’s definitely priced as a luxury wedding venue, and you will have to pay separately for all other vendors, including paying extra for the bar, purchasing your own alcohol, and catering. Madison Greenhouse was clear and upfront about this from the beginning - and to us, we believed it was worth it and we simply budgeted accordingly. If the scenery of your wedding is less of a priority, you might think Madison Greenhouse is not worth your money.
- Circling back to Madison Greenhouse being BUSY - sometimes there were hiccups in communication during the planning process. But if you just keep organized with the various email chains, ask for clarification, remain open and communicative, and keep records of all your contracts and paperwork, you will be just fine! We worked with Shawn and Jamie-Lynn, and they were professional, helpful, and informative. If there were hiccups, they were corrected within the day.
- The venue gets HOT in the summer mornings/afternoons. We were so worried about having a muggy wedding because of the heatwave that was happening the week before. Miraculously, it was 19 degrees in the afternoon of our wedding, and it ended up being the most utterly beautiful day ever in the greenhouse. If you’re having your wedding in the summer, I’d highly recommend providing hand fans to guests as a wedding favour. We did that, and we also asked our caterers to pass chilled drinks during guest arrival.

Overall, due to the non-all-inclusive nature of the venue, you may face some challenges and will need to be prepared to take care of a lot of moving parts on your own. So, if you want a more relaxed planning process (i.e. for the venue to do everything/most things for you) and the picturesque venue is not a priority, maybe a different venue is more suited for you! But personally, we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else :)

I am shocked by the bad reviews on wedding wire so I have to step in here for a moment … the Madison Greenhouse is an amazing venue ! The staff are very helpful and want to make your day special , the owners are amazing people and obviously the venue is gorgeous…Yes , all you get is the venue and a soft bar package but that was stated to us when we went to check out the venue back in 2020. They have since done some renovations which look wonderful! We used an outside Caterer ( Lavender Blue Catering ) and they came with us to check out the venue, ask them questions and check out all equipment etc. I think a lot of these bad reviews aren’t against the venue themself but the caterer/ event planner .. please make sure you do your research and find a good caterer and planner who care and take that extra step to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible. Things will go wrong but it’s the little things nobody notices… we are not all perfect people ! I remember reading some of these reviews and I was worried and scared so I hope my review gives someone ease .. you will have such a magical amazing day like I did ! Always remember to treat people with kindness and respect I know it is a stressful time but you get a lot more bees with honey then you do vinegar ! Don’t sweat the small stuff take everything in and remember your day is about you and your significance other celebrating your love and having all your friends and family there to support you ! I can not recommend this venue enough and it will always hold a special place in my heart

We booked Madison Greenhouse about 2 years ago for our recent wedding. We loved the venue from the start and they've certainly made upgrades in the last couple of years since taking over from the previous owners. We received endless compliments from our guests about how beautiful it was. Our experience with staff was generally great. Communication was prompt and our space was set up as we had outlined. As a small note, our contract which was online was changed a few times without our knowledge throughout the planning process after signing, including changing payment due dates, soft bar package formats, and use of rooms. These changes did not have a huge impact on our event, but a heads up would have been appreciated. Madison's did however agree to honour the original agreements, so this wasn't too much of an issue. Overall, we would recommend this venue to other couples.

It’s such a shame, because this is still the most beautiful venue I have ever seen, and I don’t regret getting married here as we have beautiful photos. BUT dealing with the difficult, unorganized and unprofessional staff was exhausting. I spoke to 4 different sales reps during the 11 months we had the contract. Each person would give us different information about what’s allowed/included. There was also an incident where the roof came off 4 weeks before our wedding, killing most of the plants. The staff neglected to tell us, we found out only when we came in person for our finale details meeting. The owner was not helpful, and did not try to work with us or help us with the situation we found ourselves in.

If you want to get married here, because it is beautiful, make sure to get a wedding planner or day of coordinator who can deal with these people for you, it will save you one hell of a headache
