Clyde Hall B&B is a mansion is a small intimate venue with 6 guest rooms located in Lanark, Ontario. This charming property dates back to 1846 and effortlessly blends historic character with modern features. The venue hosts intimate weddings/ceremonies both on its lush grounds and inside the mansion.

Facilities and Capacity (24 guests maximum)

Intimate gatherings of 24 guests or fewer can be held inside the house. A private area among vibrant forests and a quaint village, Clyde Hall B&B is an effortlessly elegant venue. The property spans 10 acres of woodland and beautifully manicured gardens, while the stately stone mansion serves as the focal point. A tent with a private caterer can be set up on the grounds to offer guests a covered space. Inside, a get-ready room can be used by the wedding party.

Services Offered

The owners are delighted to host both ceremonies, intimate receptions, and farewell brunches. They also allow alcohol to be brought in and served (LCBO License and insurance required). We have a master pastry chef with over 35 years of experience and creates delightful wedding cakes.

Accommodation

This venue features luxurious guest rooms, suites, and a private bridal suite. Each room is uniquely decorated with an array of amenities like whirlpool tubs, walk-in closets, plush bathrobes, and more. Breakfast is served each morning, and the chefs can accommodate a wide variety of dietary restrictions and allergies. The property also boasts an outdoor pool and hot tub, solarium, drawing room with baby grand piano, and plenty of places to lounge.

History

The Caldwell Mansion was built in 1846, and when their son William came of age, he adopted the name Clyde. He became a distinguished member of the community, and the estate was named Clyde Hall in his honour. The house changed ownership several times over the next century and was finally purchased by the Lillico family in 2001. It underwent extensive renovations to bring its amenities up to date, finally opening as a bed and breakfast in 2003.
