Dream Wedding!!! 💒

We had our wedding at The Pearle Hotel just a week ago, and we’re still on cloud nine. From the very first moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so cared for, especially Vicki who took the time to welcome us upon check in and made sure we had everything we needed in the room on the morning of. Every detail was handled with such thoughtfulness and grace. The waterfront views were absolutely breathtaking, and the ballroom spaces were elegant, romantic, and everything we had dreamed of. We have to give a special shoutout to Sabrina and Hope, who went truly above and beyond for us. They were there every step of the way checking in, making sure we were comfortable, ensuring the day flowed perfectly, and even staying through to the very end of the night to help with packing up. They even went the extra mile to bring some of our wedding cake up to our room to enjoy as well as a thoughtful gift for us and our puppy, Moose! Their kindness, calm energy, and genuine care made such a difference and allowed us to relax and really enjoy every moment. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the stunning venue, the incredible service, delicious food and how seamless everything felt. Special shoutout to Samantha who worked with us leading up to the big day to ensure no detail was overlooked! We’re endlessly grateful to The Pearle team for making our wedding day so magical and unforgettable. It was everything we hoped for and so much more. We can’t wait to come back to visit for years to come, we’re already planning our next spa trip!

The apex of how to host a wedding!

This wedding venue has it all.

The food is phenomenal. You can't go wrong with any of their farm to table menu items. Coffee is on point, steaks are perfectly done every single time, and even the pickiest eaters get options that they will enjoy. The pastries are perfection.

The staff are skilled, crazy good at what they do. From setup, to teardown, to everything in between. They consult you, help you every step of the way, give you timelines, and even deal with things that you sometimes overlooked, or haven't considered. Cordial, responsive, effective, and consistent.

It's also an all in one package. At other venues, you have to deal with hotels located potentially minutes away from the venue. Because the hotel and the event spaces are right on top of each other, you've saved your guests (and yourself!) the difficulties of dealing with people leaving early, forgetting very important items, or not knowing where things are. Suddenly, everything is a 30 second elevator ride away. Bride tired? Oh, look, she's got a place to get away from the crowd. Need a quick touch up in the room? Back down to the event spaces without hassle.

It's expensive, but not when you include all the benefits that the venue provides. A single point of access, with all the amenities that you could ask for.

September 2025 Wedding

Picking The Pearle Hotel as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire process. We booked two years in advance, and at the time, most of our friends and family had never even heard of the venue, which we loved. Now, two years later, it is much more popular, and for good reason. We wanted something other than a typical hall wedding, and The Pearle Hotel was actually the only venue we looked at.

We originally booked with Megan, but she went on maternity leave shortly after. Over the two years of planning, we had about four different people help us with our wedding details (I am not sure of their exact title). I noticed in other reviews that this is common, but honestly, it did not impact our planning or wedding day in any negative way. The staff was always easy to work with and responsive. Replies sometimes took a few days, but their answers were always detailed and thoughtful. They clearly take the time to make sure you have all the information you need.

Our ceremony was in the Northshore Room, which was later converted into our reception space. The ceremony started at 5 p.m., and while the staff turned the room over, our guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Everything ran so smoothly.

The day before and the day of the wedding were both incredible. We stayed overnight before the wedding and were surprised with a bottle of champagne, and both of our families received desserts. It was such a thoughtful touch. Throughout those two days, I have truly never experienced service like that. The staff at The Pearle Hotel are incredible and made sure everything ran perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious, honestly even better than our tasting. The portions were generous, and our guests are still talking about how good the meal was. They were also very attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated.

During planning, I wanted to make a few changes to the floor plan, but the team at The Pearle advised against it, and they were completely right. The room layout and flow ended up looking so much better with their suggestion.

A special shoutout to Shannon. She was with us the entire day and was the most helpful, friendly, and reassuring person. If you are lucky enough to have her on your wedding day, you are in the best hands. There was never a line at the bar, which was something I was nervous about beforehand, and every detail was handled perfectly.

We are so happy we chose The Pearle Hotel for our wedding day. Our guests have not stopped raving about the service, the food, and the entire experience. We cannot wait to come back for a stay in the future.

Recently me and my wife got married at the Pearle hotel ( summer of 2025)

Overall I highly recommend the venue and I am extremely happy with everything.
We had around 140 guests.
We did our ceremony in the northshore.
Reception in the edgewater
Just my quick / long review if you’re planning on getting married at the Pearle hotel ( Burlington)

- Wedding Planning -

Sometimes it’s hard to get a hold of the event planner person you are talking to and planning with as you will probably see that’s the most amount of complaints you will see online.
They did give us faster responses the month before the wedding which makes sense.
My guess is the planning staff is probably overwhelmed - as I think there’s like 3-4 people who do most of it.
No doubt most couples may think of something and want an answer ASAP. Book appointment times and asks for email follow up confirmation ( or in our case we typed out what we talked about and emailed it to the team and just had them verify)
We did start off with Megan but she went on Mat leave and I don’t know if they hired another to take her spot temporarily. So forgive them for emailing slower.
Also a good thing to take in account is their work hours and days.
Though it’s email I guess they don’t check it in their days off ( which makes sense everyone needs a break ) - so our new event planner let us know the days she worked so we were able to coordinate our questions better.
They also have a general events team - thought they can’t rly answer specific questions they can answer general ones or let you know when a certain person is working)
Overall the events planning team did a great job - though slow sometimes I have heard from a personal friend who works events planning of the stress involved with wedding planning that she would rather touch hot coals before touching a wedding event.
Side note: the event planners are really knowledgeable as Megan even knew days of lent and Chinese ghost months as well as lucky and unlucky days due to religion or superstition. ( we almost planned our wedding day during lent but luckily Megan reminded us and stopped us before we locked in a bad day for our respective families ) so kudos to her for that.

- $Pricing$-

Pricing is a bit on the higher mid end
You won’t be getting a budget deal BUT one thing we did ask is that for the venues they do have a minimum guest amount.
Saying that - do ask if instead you can aim for a minimum spend.
So rather than feeding 160+ people of some who you don’t like - we fed 140 people with add-ons ( pasta , extra canapés etc )

They do offer deals on non prime days.
Sunday , weekdays - etc. and none prime months. So always ask.
Also definitely definitely keep track of emails and contracts as if you do get some deals it’s pretty much your job to keep track of.
Ie. they offer 3 late night options instead of the 2 written on the “menu” ( they have an itemized list ) make sure to have it confirmed on the email. I think our only issue was since our OG person didn’t hand over all the notes to our new planner so there was a bit of double checking of promised deals.
All promises were honored but it definitely gave a bit of anxiety. - just make sure you’re organized on your end in terms of costs and contracts.
Overall though for what we paid for I am content with what we got.

- Ceremony -

We did our ceremony at the Pearle in the North shore
Note if you’re in the edgewater for reception your ceremony is earlier as they will need to set it up for the north shore party later.
They give you an “hour” - though there is a grace period of 30 min.
Northshore reception probably don’t have that time crunch
Would I hold the ceremony again there ? Probably not - nothing wrong with it - but for about 3k for an hour + maybe 30 min; does seem like a lot.
But we took into consideration of having our guests to travel 2x. And decided to hold everything at the same location
The Northshore is gorgeous as a room – just kind of odd looking out into the parking lot but you can ask to have the blinds closed
( note we made this decisions after coming in for another meeting and there was a wedding at that time and the guests had their ceremony elsewhere - was a bit of a cluster fudge for everyone. )

- Food -

You’ll see some reviews that food is mid but honest unless you’re someone who goes to nobu on a daily basis the food was really really good.

I was worried about canapés as they don’t really have a picture example or any videos but from what I heard from our guests there was more than enough - I was really happy hearing that guests went into the set dinner already full ( for those wondering the food can be made halal as well - as we had some Muslim guests and gluten free( note: the gluten free pasta is meh) and vegan options as well ) - the canapés we personally tasted were really good - I really enjoyed the steak bites and spicy chicken.

We did add in a bubbles bar and although I did not see it in its full grandeur it was a manned station and honest I would say for the price point do get it as everyone later on mentioned how great it was.

The set meals were quite good too.
Salads no complaint though I did want the bruschetta options ( my wife preferred salad ) ( also note should you go to the tasting and you want something changed - within reason they can do it ( our steak had some tomato sauce thing which we did not like and they substituted it with red wine reduction )

Kids meal was your basic tenders with fries - but the smart thing is that they brought out the food for the kids first ( a starving child is a loud child lol )

We did add on a pasta option as we were worried about food though tbh looking back you don’t need to worry about guests being hungry as the canapés had most of our guests going into reception already full.
But the pasta was REALLY good ( we got the cream one )

The only meh thing for us was the burgers/ sliders as a late night snack. That was generic but what do you expect - we did get the pierogies ( NOTE they are fried “western” type - to my polish wife’s disappointed haha ) and we also had the dumplings - which as an Asian I can say were not bad. ( note for us our plan was that people going into late night were not still hungry so really the late night options should not matter to much.
We also had complimentary fruit tray which was nice.

- Alcohol -

We did not do any add-ons to what was already supplied - though no guests had any complaints - I can proudly say everyone was well satiated with table service pours and specific requests at the bar. ( no shots allowed)
Also the bar is open starting at cocktail hour so during our venue search we did have some gripes at other venues where you only had x amount of hours for the bar to be open.

- Concierge and maître de -

I’m not 100% sure what is what - but I do know we had a lady named Sabrina who focused on us ( bride and groom ) - she was definitely amazing; not sure what a day of event coordinator does as we did look into one but Sabrina helped us out a lot and honestly made the whole day for us personally - go seamlessly.
She did things like made sure we had canapés set aside for us in the hotel room ( after the ceremony ) so we had something to eat while we took photos. Which we never thought of as we were starving after we did our photos during cocktail hour. So that was a blessing.

She also would chase down family members for photos for us.
There was also something funny as she knew I ( the groom ) did not drink so for photos she grabbed ginger ale in wine glasses for me for photos

Other things as events that unfold you get held up with greetings , well wishers etc …your food can get cold.
Sabrina was amazing at noticing when people left us alone and asked if we wanted certain meals brought for us.
And if you cannot finish your food she would pack it away for us to take later. ( as far as I can tell they only packed away the food for the bride and groom )

As for the person that dealt with guests - from my understanding no one got lost where to go as they were directed to the venue promptly- do note that the entrance to the hotel is the same as the venue so there can be some congestion.
Overall 11/10 service by that the concierge / maître de service ) - and The Pearle if you read all of this give Sabrina a raise or something.

-Parking.-

Parking is NOT included - there is valet parking and you can talk to the hotel team ( not events team ) to get discounted deals
IMO get it - last thing you want is guests showing up to your wedding and then having to pay another $X. Makes you seem cheap.
I did have one issue where I guess one person working at valet did not know we covered valet parking so some guests were confused.
From what I heard from the guests is most valet said “are you here for an event “ - guest mentioned our wedding and said they should have valet parking covered and it was. So maybe include it on your invitation to be brought in to show valet

- Hotel room-

If you book your wedding at the Pearle hotel they do give you a room - note : it’s the smallest room but you can use the cost of the small room and pay extra to upgrade to the biggest one.
IMO - do it. You’re only getting married once right - also we stayed in the “free” room once before on a visit/ it’s a wee bit small.
You can use the hotel room to get ready and store stuff. ( note the safe if you are doing a card box is a bit small so get rdy to take cards out )
Also as family and close friends will prob be traveling with you - the larger room is a nice place to unwind.

- Set up and tear down-

The Pearle will set up chairs and tables - round tables already have linens ( not sure why they don’t have some for harvest tables but whatever)

They also set up dj spots and late night and canapé spots ( note you have to take their recommended list of DJs or pay an extra 500$)

They will ask you to take away decorations right after the event so if you are bringing anything else - get a decorator for that.
They will unofficially hold some small stuff in an storage area for you - as I did notice some guests forgot some stuff ( ie a cupcake stand and her religious decoration storage box ) and the other venue people had some glass flower jars next to ours stuff in the storage space but don’t hold them to that it’s not included ; just something nice they did.

There was a really tall gentleman ( I forgot his name ) who was very helpful in organizing teams to help set up and tear down - for example the seating charts are usually pretty massive - they had a team bring it off the truck when we dropped off and even brought it up to the venue the day of the wedding and the day after they brought it down to our truck again and loaded it.

-Overall thoughts-

Would me and the wife want to re live the events of that day ?
Yes !
Would we recommend the venue ?
Yes ! - in fact 3 couples that got recently engaged are now pestering us about the venue which in the end made me also just write this review to sum it up for everyone.

The Pearle Hotel & Spa Wedding - July 18th 2025

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If I could give Pearle more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.
From our very first consultation, we knew we were in the best hands. The Pearle Weddings team helped us plan every single detail of our wedding day. From building floor plans and timelines to guiding us through menu tastings and answering every question along the way. No detail was too small, and nothing went unnoticed. They made the planning process feel so easy, organized, and even enjoyable.

Isabelle and Nycole were incredible throughout the entire process. They're patient, thoughtful, and so attentive. Vicki (guest relations manager) made our families feel truly welcomed and cared for. And Shannon, (our day-of coordinator,) was simply amazing. She took care of everything, made sure we were always comfortable, and allowed us to truly be present and enjoy every moment. I didn’t have to lift a finger the entire day — she was always one step ahead.

The food was phenomenal — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and honestly some of the best we’ve ever had at a wedding (our guests are still talking about it). The staff across the board were kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. Every part of the day felt seamless, intentional, and full of joy.

Our wedding wasn’t just beautiful, it was deeply meaningful. And that’s because of the people at Pearle who put so much heart into everything they do. They helped create a day that truly reflected us, and gave us memories we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.

We are so endlessly grateful, and we will forever recommend Pearle Weddings to anyone looking for an unforgettable, stress-free, and heartfelt celebration.

Wedding at the Pearle Hotel and Spa

We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at The Pearle Hotel in late April 2025. From the very beginning, the communication with our event coordinator, Isabelle, was seamless. She was supportive, thorough, and truly made us feel prepared for our special day. Her guidance and advice were so valuable, and she handled everything with such professionalism and care.

The Pearle was also incredibly accommodating to our last-minute changes, never making a big deal out of anything—which, as the bride, brought me so much reassurance and peace of mind. Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted by the manager, Vicki, who wished us well, and we found a welcome drink waiting for us in our room. The amenities were stunning—we even had a chance to relax in the pool before the big day!

At our rehearsal dinner, we met Sabrina, our Day-Of Support provided by The Pearle, and she walked us through the entire schedule with so much attention to detail. She thought of everything—snacks and drinks in the room before the reception, a reception reveal—little touches I hadn’t even considered but was so grateful for. And now, upon my reflection, were the most meaningful parts of the day!

On our wedding day, despite running late for our first look, Sabrina calmly coordinated with our photographer, brought us water, and helped keep everything running smoothly. Her presence brought such a sense of peace. She even noticed I didn’t enjoy a drink I had ordered and quietly replaced it without me asking—her attentiveness was truly unmatched. Throughout the night, she checked in on both me and my husband, packed food for my grandmother who couldn’t stay due to illness, and even brought me flip flops so I could dance comfortably.

Thank you, Sabrina, Isabelle, and the entire team at The Pearle for making our wedding day so incredibly special. Our guests are still raving about the experience, and we’re already looking forward to creating more memories at The Pearle in the future.

We knew we wanted a “one stop shop” for our special day and The Pearle definitely delivered! We couldn’t have imagined our wedding anywhere else. Everyone at The Pearle including but not limited to Isabelle, Harzall, Paige, Vicki, Shannon, Sabrina, wait/bar staff, front desk staff, valet, and The Pearle cafe staff went above and beyond for us - we are truly so happy and appreciative of you all! AMAZING food, accommodations, drinks, atmosphere and more. Guests are still raving to us about their experience and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you all so very much for all of your help in making our wedding memorable! Wishing you all the same happiness you’ve helped bring us.

Exceeded Expectations in Every Way!

The Pearle Hotel was the perfect setting for our winter wedding. All the staff throughout the process were lovely and went above and beyond. Isabelle Kiraly walked us through the wedding planning process step-by-step and paid attention to every detail. She worked magic behind the scenes to ensure our day went off smoothly and took so much worry off our plate. On the day of, Shannon was a true fairy godmother. She was 2 steps ahead all day and took exceptional care of us and our families so we could enjoy every moment - including bringing blankets to keep us warm between pictures outside, making sure we ate our meals, and managing all vendor interactions (good and challenging). We can't thank Shannon, Isabelle, and all others enough for everything she did to make the day perfect. Our guests raved about the food and the stunning Edgewater Room all night. Our experience at the Pearle truly exceeded all expectations and was worth every penny.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
