  The Inn at the Quay is an Amazing Wedding Venue

  The Inn at the Quay is a remarkable venue for a Wedding. It is centrally located in Metro Vancouver for in town guests, and has great accommodations for out of town guests. The attention to detail was amazing, right down to the customized ‘do not disturb’ signs that all of our guests staying at the hotel received. The ballroom has a nice layout with a wrap around patio for your guests to enjoy. We opted to have the buffet in a meeting room down the hall and had the bar in the foyer so that guests could mingle and hang out without interrupting the ambience and flow in the ballroom. The catering manager Shayla and the catering staff were amazing and on point, working with our wedding planner to deliver an evening that exceeded our expectations. The food is catered by the Boathouse Restaurant which is an upscale Vancouver restaurant, and it is amazing. Our guests gave us rave reviews over the food and the venue. Finally, surprisingly the venue rental cost was incredibly reasonable, which allowed us to spend more on food. We would highly recommend the Inn at the Quay as a Wedding venue!!

  Amazing experience

  Shayla and the team at the Inn were wonderful. I don’t think we could have had a better wedding in a more beautiful place. The ceremony space on the rooftop patio was stunning. Thank you all so much!

  September 10, 2023 Wedding

  We had a phenomenal experience with our wedding at Inn at the Quay. Shayla and Alvaro were very friendly, attentive and responsive through all of our interactions. Alvaro even came in on his day off to make sure everything was planned and in order which was VERY appreciated and above and beyond! We felt like we were in great hands and really loved the peace of mind that provided during such a milestone even in our lives. Thank you for everything, we would recommend this venue, and all of the wonderful staff, in a heart beat 💙!

  Best Day of My Life

  I am so pleased that I decided to go with Inn at the Quay for my venue, Shayla was amazing!!!!!!!! We got married there on September 9,2023 and Shayla truly went above and beyond and held it all together for us. I cannot say enough great things about her. She was extremely patient with all my emails and questions and allotted time for my visits to the venue, especially as the time got closer. She makes her job look easy, but anyone planning a wedding on their own, knows that there is alot to do and she seemed to do it seamlessly.
  
  Kudos to the Inn at the Quay but a special extra thanks and kudos to Shayla !! I appreciate you and am so happy with our experience there!

  Exceptional! High quality for great value

  We booked the Inn at the Quay for our wedding reception. We ordered the buffet for our wedding and every single guest commented on the high quality of the food. It was truly exceptional! Shayla Harrison & Alvaro Castillo really made our wedding special. We literally could not have pulled it off without them :-) Our room was immaculate, comfortable and had an amazing view of the river. We also did not expect to receive free bubbly and custom door knob hangers to celebrate our nuptials! Such a cute touch!

  So glad we got to host our wedding ceremony at Inn at the Quay!

  The staff at the Inn at the Quay are super easy to work with. Very professional and accommodating! Particularly Melissa and Shayla. I mainly was in contact with Melissa at first, but I got to meet Melissa and Shayla in person when we went to tour the venue before making our decision on a venue. Super nice and to the point when you ask them questions - no beating around the bush! My husband and I really loved the impression we got from the tour and we're so glad we went with this venue.
  
  We wanted to do a Chinese tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, and dinner reception all in one day and hopefully in a similar location, and Inn at the Quay fulfilled that for us! We got to rent the Hyack room for both the wedding ceremony and dinner reception, and rented the Riverside room for the Chinese tea ceremony. There's such a great view in both rooms! It was super convenient for us to have everything on the same floor.
  We also booked a hotel room to be at the venue the night before so we were ready for the big day the next day, as well as a hospitality room for myself and the bridal party to get ready in.
  
  Melissa would always reply to my messages promptly, and be very responsive. She's meticulous and I felt at ease that we got all our bases covered. She responded positively to feedback and replied to our emails on editing the drink tickets to be in the colours of our wedding theme very quickly.
  
  Shayla was the one that helped us during the day of our wedding though. She nailed everything wonderfully despite not being the person I was mainly contacting. On the day of, she thought of everything to make my life easier even when I hadn't thought of it myself! Her experience and knowledge speaks through all the small things and big tasks she got to do for us that added up and really made a difference in making our wedding day better than we had imagined.
  
  Sadly, I didn't get to eat as much of all the great food that was served that night with being the bride and running around greeting all the guests, but we heard nothing but compliments from everyone that attended (particularly the mushroom ravioli!) We're so glad we got to choose the "Create-Your-Own Buffet" package. It fit our needs to have a little bit of everything for everyone!
  
  If you're looking for a venue to hold an intimate wedding while also being flexible and reasonably priced - look no further!

  Fantastic for the DIY bride and groom :)

  The Inn's catering and banquets team is fantastic to work with. We're very much DIY'ers with most things, so we appreciated all the support the catering manager. Food was fantastic (Lobster and crab ravioli got rave reviews).
  
  Our catering manager helped us sort out our floor plan as well with projector, screen, sweet heart table, as well as sorted out space for our arcade machines and photobooth. We were so concerned about spacing, and thankfully there was additional rooms on the same floor we could host the buffet in!
  
  We booked our party a year in advance, and prices did go up for the buffet (which was fully disclosed and expected), but only by a very marginal amount in the grand scheme of things. For the service, support we received from the Inn (especially the catering manager), it's exceptional value for the money. On the day of we had some last minute things we missed: Parking vouchers for our guests. The catering manager without hesitation templated and printed off parking vouchers for our guests . The calm and efficient recovery made me breathe a lot easier (thank you so so so so so much).
  
  This was our dream wedding and words cannot express how happy we were to work with the Inn.

  Great Time!

  The event & sales coordinator Shayla, as well as the rest of staff, were awesome, and made our wedding stress free! We had an outdoor ceremony, indoor/outdoor reception, and had guests book rooms at the hotel, and everything went great! Thanks so much to all the staff who contributed to making our wedding easy & memorable!
