We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had working with Katrina of Best western Hotel. From the moment we first reached out, her professionalism and responsiveness were outstanding. Every email was answered promptly, and no question ever felt too small.
What truly stood out was how respectful she was of our budget. They worked closely with us to create a package that fit our needs without compromising quality. It never felt like we were being upsold or pressured, just supported.
On the day itself, her calmness, friendly, and can-do attitude made all the difference. Katrina was not only organized and efficient but genuinely warm and enthusiastic, which made us and our guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.
The service we received was truly excellent value for money. The results exceeded our expectations, and we received so many compliments from friends and family that our wedding is beyond beautiful. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, budget-conscious, kind, and passionate about what they do, we cannot recommend Best Western highly enough and look for Kristina by the way. Our wedding at Best Western Plus in Winnipeg this past weekend was great! With our now 10 month old daughter, it is near to impossible to get anything done but with Kristina P, the Catering Manager at BW, she made it as stress-free as possible. With a year of planning it was great to know that they had everything lined up for our wedding, from the music vendors, decor company, delicious catering and available additional options such as open bar, appetizers, etc. Our only complaint was that our DJ did not seem experienced with weddings. We felt he needed rehearsal on the form we had filled out for Crystal Sound, he was to be making the announcements for our wedding party entering, the next dance for the weddinf entourage, etc. Our best man did all of his announcers but it made the night not flow, as much as we had hoped. After adding an additional plate to our dinner, our wedding cake wasn't for display as we had hoped, if was brought out late. Other than that the night was still wonderful and we have no regrets for choosing BW. They provided our courtesy honey moon room and the breakfast was delicious. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the food and night. We just wish you could have offered us a photographer with this wedding bundle. We are very happy with the service and food, because of it being an all inclusive venue we had nothing to worry about. The food was served hot and it was delicious! Alexandra answered ALL my questions and there was a lot of them. Given the choice to do it all again we would change nothing. -

We have zero complaints about our experience with Greenwood Ballroom. With 2 years of planning there was many meetings and discussions had with the venue, they were always very supportive and willing to work with our ideas. The meal was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive all night. I would give this venue and the staff 15/10! -

The BestWestern Hotel Staff really went above and beyond and made my wedding day better than I ever could have anticipated. The ballroom space was beautiful, and the option of having the hotel provide everything you need really makes it a no-brainer to choose them. The food was delicious, wait staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and our whirlpool suite was the perfect way to relax the night of. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a security guard outside of the room just incase there were any wedding crashers! I could not recommend this venue enough, from the cost, to what you receive I would say it's one of the best venues in the city for sure. -

If you want a wedding where the wedding director and coordinator are responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and double check your choices, please use this vendor. I can not say enough great things about them. The food was amazing and they tried to make everything as seamless as they could. I probably made 100 changes through-out the last 3 months and not once did Alexandra (wedding coordinator) once make me feel like I was bothering her. She was fabulous! If you stick with the packages and don't upgrade the value is great. We upgraded but it was worth every penny! The guest loved the mushroom soup and the prime rib. Many said it was better than the keg! This was the pererxt venue for our wedding! Plus plus plus! -
