From the history, to the staff, to the venue itself - everything was top notch. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about the Gladstone.
When we were considering venue options, this one stood out to us the most as it was somehow modern and vintage at the same time. The interior will blow you away. The only thing better than the decor is the staff - they are willing to go above and beyond to ensure your day is absolutely perfect.
Having stayed there the weekend of the wedding, we can confirm that the hotel is great for a stay as well as events. Everyone was professional and attentive, our guests had a great time and the food was PERFECTION! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing everything tasted.
If you're unsure if this is the venue for you then this is your sign! As a bonus, it's a place you can come back to every year for your anniversary! My husband and I will actually be returning in a month to celebrate our first anniversary (of many) with the Gladstone!

We had our wedding here at the end of April 2026, and the venue made the entire process feel so easy and stress-free. From the moment we did our walkthrough with Kim, we were enamoured with the space and what it had to offer. The team was incredibly accommodating with menu adjustments and allergies (we had nut, crustacean, gluten, dairy, and vegan restrictions among our guests) and we felt genuinely taken care of throughout the planning process and on the day itself.
The food and service were both excellent, and the space itself is already so beautiful that you really don’t need extravagant decor. We kept things simple with candles and white flowers, and against the exposed brick it looked stunning.
Price-wise, we looked at a few other venues in the city, and everything was comparable, if not more expensive. They also offer high and low season pricing, as well as lower rates for Fridays and Sundays, which gave us some flexibility. Considering the level of service, food quality, organization, and overall experience, we were very happy with the value for the price.
If you’re not working with a wedding planner (we didn’t), I highly recommend opting for the day-of coordinator. Marisa was absolutely amazing. She knows the space so well and set everything up beautifully. She instinctively understood the feeling and atmosphere we wanted and delivered it perfectly. She also cued the processional, which I was incredibly grateful for.
Everything flowed so smoothly from start to finish. You can tell this team truly knows their craft. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. -

Marisa (event services manager) and Kim (sales manager) were both so incredibly helpful and responsive over the months leading up to our wedding.
The venue was perfect, we needed only a little decor and our guests raved about the food, specifically the beef short rib and lemon meringue dessert!
The service during our wedding was phenomenal, we had our signature drink and canapes brought to us while taking photos which was amazing. All the servers were so incredibly friendly and happy. Even when the bar ran out of some of the beer on tap, the bartenders quickly pivoted and provided beer that our guests were thrilled to have.
Overall our day was so fun and seamless, we can't thank the Gladstone enough! -

We got married at the Gladstone and we could not be happier with the venue and the entire Gladstone team! The hotel is beautiful, historic, and very unique. The artwork and dedication to the art community is immediately apparent and looks unbelievable in our photos.
The team at the Gladstone were wonderful to work with. Celia Schepp and Kim Miyama were exceptionally professional, accommodating, and helped us out on each step of the way.
On a final note, the food and bar services were top notch. We had so many guests comment on how good the food and service was. If you're looking for a wedding venue, we highly recommend you check out the Gladstone! -

The Gladstone House is the perfect wedding venue. Not only is it conveniently located in the heart of Toronto, the venue is BEAUTIFUL - each floor has a different vibe, there is local art on display throughout and the interior design of the hotel perfectly balances modernization while respecting its historic roots. We particularly enjoyed the convenience of having our ceremony and reception in the same venue. The biggest plus: it's dog friendly! We were able to have our husky walk down the aisle and bring us our rings. :)
Most special of all: our wedding definitely would not have been as smooth if not for Celia and her team going above and beyond to ensure that our wedding vision came to life. Celia is easily the most thorough and detail-oriented person that we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We highly recommend adding her event setup services package as it took a lot off our plate so that we could enjoy the day with our guests.
Our guests could not stop complimenting how good the food was and how beautiful the venue was. Highly recommend! -

We had the most amazing experience at the Gladstone House! From start to finish, we felt completely taken care of — every detail was thoughtfully handled, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The events planner and team were incredible to work with — attentive, patient, and so accommodating to everything we wanted.
The space itself was beautiful and intimate, exactly what we envisioned for our day. I’ll admit, I’m quite particular and very type A, but the Gladstone team absolutely kept up with me! They made sure every request was met and every concern was addressed with ease and professionalism.
It truly was the best day ever, and we couldn’t have imagined celebrating anywhere else. Highly recommend the Gladstone House to any couple looking for a venue that’s not only stunning but genuinely cares about your experience. -

The Gladstone House Hotel is a wonderful place to host a wedding. We had about 70 guests, and everything—from the fantastic food to the impeccable attention to detail—was superb. Both the ceremony and the reception ran seamlessly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day. The team truly has you covered and will exceed your expectations.

We truly cannot say enough good things about the Gladstone! From our very first venue visit, to the follow up after our wedding, they were nothing but professional, responsive, and attentive. They were very supportive regarding questions about foot and dietary restrictions - this was something important to us, to ensure our guests with allergies/restrictions were comfortable with the service. The service throughout the evening was wonderful - super helpful front-of-house staff and great attention throughout dinner. The food was delicious, and our guests felt very well taken care of. The cherry on top is the overall vibe/look of the hotel - it was intimate, charming, classy, timeless, and artistic - a beautiful way of showcasing everything that Toronto is! Cannot recommend more, we feel extremely lucky to have had our wedding here! -

I cannot recommend having your wedding at the Gladstone House more. We didn't have a planner or a day of coordinator, so a lot of the organization and execution came down to us, our siblings, and the hotel staff. Giannina could not have been a more helpful, kind, thoughtful, or organized person to have shared the planning with. She was prepared, flexible to our wishes, timely, and attentive to our needs (regardless of how conventional or unconventional they were). We were able to customize the packages to whatever we wanted, and never felt pressured to opt in to additional charges or additional features that weren't for us. On the day, the staff (from the waiters to the front desk staff) were so accommodating. If we needed extra chairs or a mirror or the speeches were running a few minutes late they coordinated everything so it went off without a hiccup. Everyone commented on how good the food was, the drink service was flowing, and the room looked spectacular. We did all of our photos inside to take advantage of the beautiful hotel and the staff were so willing for us to take over the common spaces or open up spaces for us. We also booked rooms in the hotel and it made the preparation process so easy. Honestly, this was the best decision we made and everyone was so impressed. I cannot emphasize enough how great this venue is for weddings, so if you're on the fence you should definitely go check it out and talk to the staff. We cannot recommend it enough!! -
