The Gladstone Hotel offers a la carte and in-house catering menus that reflect local and seasonal flavors. We loved the Gladstone and had a perfect night! It felt like we just showed up and the night went exactly as planned around us. They were flexible when we had a few last minute changes, and completely attentive the day of the wedding. It was perfect!

We had our wedding here in May 2018 - we selected based on the the beauty and history of the space, and a business model that reflected our values in supporting arts and culture, local food, etc. We'd read some older and not so positive reviews about organization and responsiveness in the wedding planning team, and so we were a bit apprehensive about what the service would be like... In the end, we decided to take a chance and hope for the best.
It was the best decision we made. Absolutely everything about our experience was superb, and truly we couldn't recommend this venue and the team there highly enough. The support and responsiveness throughout the planning process was excellent. We worked with Sarah and she was patient, helpful, and thorough in making sure everything was properly taken care of. On the day of our wedding, everyone at the hotel was so kind to us and to our guests. Things went very smoothly, food and beverages were excellent, and we felt completely at home.

This venue is absolutely stunning! We were married in the 2nd floor Gallery. As they were not exhibiting anyone's work during the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve, they allowed me to hang my late father's art work...
The reception space is a bit small...we had 70 people...but it all seemed to work. The food was exceptional! I received many compliments on the food...especially the hors d'oeuvres.
I will say that you do need to keep on top of the event coordinator. The first gentleman we had was extremely unresponsive. It took weeks to hear back from him and he would say that he was just so incredibly busy with other more pressing events. This was fine when we were months away from the wedding...not as we got closer. About 6 weeks before the wedding, I was passed on to a lady who was our new event coordinator (as the original gentleman was now going to be away on vacation the week of our wedding). She was much better, but neglected to inform me that she herself would be taking vacation from the Wednesday before the wedding until the day of the wedding...which created issues as I was supposed to load-in my father's art work the day before. Ultimately, she made it work, but it would have expected better communication beforehand.
All in all, the venue was fabulous. Just keep in mind that you or your wedding planner will need to guide the boat quite a bit...

The Gladstone fit our needs to a T. It checked all the boxes for the perfect wedding venue. Ceremony and reception in one venue, accommodation for our out-of-towners, prep rooms for the bridal party, lighting for the reception, and delicious in-house catering. It was the first and last venue we needed to look at as everything else failed to live up to the Gladstone's facilities and beautiful interiors for our intimate wedding. The staff were very helpful and always available and genuinely concerned about making sure everything ran smoothly for our special day. A++ would recommend.
