We are very excited to potentially host your wedding. At Basecamp Resorts we offer the opportunity to really make your special day your own. With six properties across Canmore we offer something for everyone.

The Wedding

We host indoor ceremonies in the Great Room at Basecamp Lodge Canmore. Large windows offer stunning mountain views, and the wooden beams and fireplace create a truly modern rustin mountain atmosphere. We will provide the chairs, you can bring the decorations. We can comfortably host up to 30 guests for a sit down ceremony.

We would be happy to recommend spots for an outdoor ceremony and connect you with local vendors to create the wedding of your dreams.

The Food

Indulge in a gourmet meal at our approachable fine dining restaurant, Rhythm & Howl, located at MTN House by Basecamp, where our award-winning chef creates exquisite dishes using only the freshest, locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. Featuring farm-to-table cuisine with Mediterranean flair, we offer an extensive range of dining options throughout the day. The cocktail bar boasts a comprehensive cocktail menu consisting of upscale classics and a diverse selection of mocktails. The maximum number of guests is 40 and we will book a semi-private section of the restaurant for your group.

Rhythm & Howl also provides catering services to the Lodge if you prefer a small buffet dinner or cocktail reception. When hosting your event at the Lodge, you are allowed to bring in your own alcohol (a special event permit must be purchased with AGLC).

The Rooms

Basecamp Resorts has six properties across Canmore. Most couples choose to stay at MTN House by Basecamp (the hotel with the restaurant) or Basecamp Lodge Canmore (the hotel with the ceremony location). We also offer apartment style accommodation at some of our hotels.

We will create a room block with a discounted rate so your guests receive the best rate possible. We recommend staying for two nights, so that you have all the time to get ready in the morning. Guests can pay for their own rooms, or you can let us know if you would like to pay for some rooms as well.
