Destination Bride

Zerlene was awesome and so helpful in our destination wedding planning process. She was prompt and on the ball which allowed us to lock-in amazing prices for us and all of our guests. Afterwards, she was really helpful in making sure we were thinking about the right things and hadn't overlooked any of the finer details (which we of course had lol!). Overall she is amazing and highly recommended!

Zerlene was incredibly helpful and provided a wealth of valuable information for our destination wedding! We had over 100 people come with us to Mexico and I cannot imagine trying to organize all those flights, hotel and wedding details alone. Despite all the last-minute changes with guests, she was there every step of the way, did her best to get us the best deals and was honest and straight-forward with us about all wedding elements. Would definitely use her services again (but hopefully will never need to, lol).

We had a wonderful experience working with Zerlene as our destination wedding planner! She worked tirelessly for nearly a year to help us plan, design and execute a stunning dream destination wedding in paradise. We truly could not have done it without her.

It is a great benefit to plan and book a destination wedding and vacation with someone who is both an event planner and a travel agent! She is so knowledgeable about flight prices, airlines and resorts (as well as perks for the bride and groom and how the couple might best use them). She communicated directly with all of our guests individually and as a group, answered everyone’s questions, and helped book all flights and reservations.

Zerlene kept us on schedule and on budget, helping us account for additional costs and “extras”, and helped us choose the wedding package that best and most appropriately suited our needs. She sought clarification from, and worked with, the wedding co-ordinator at the resort to ensure that we got everything (down to the smallest detail) we ordered and planned. She checked in with us while we were away twice to see how things were going (including the day of the wedding) to see if there was anything else she could do from afar. The result? A breathtakingly beautiful sunset ceremony and outdoor evening reception under the stars surrounded by lush gardens, palm trees and other greenery, and candlelight our guests continue to rave about!

It was so much fun to work with Zerlene because of the energy and creativity she brings and the passion she has for what she does. She helped alleviate the stresses of wedding planning from afar, especially amid times of uncertainly or when things might not go according to plan. She helped us stay the course amid uncharted waters when the Caribbean experienced its worst tropical storms and hurricanes in decades within a month of our wedding. She regularly communicated with the resort to check its status, as well as began contingency planning in the even that we needed to switch dates, flights, locations and resorts.

We highly recommend this truly gifted, organized, experienced, efficient, proficient, creative wedding planner and a consummate professional. Thank you so much, Zerlene, for helping us create wonderful memories we will cherish for years to come!

If I could give more than 5 stars, Zerlene would get 10. From the very start, looking for that special and unique destination, research, many options within each of the destinations, booking my guests and the extending questions they had- this helped me tons to have the guests directed right to her. Her speed, detail, responsiveness, organization was top notch. Some hiccups upon arriving to my destination- baggage never made it… this experience, out of Zerlene’s control, obviously was rectified and only because of her. She worked magic and physically went to the airport herself to get my bags on route to me, my bags travelling more places than I have been just to make it to me within 1.5 days!!!! She goes above and beyond and I could not have asked for a better wedding travel agent. She made every difficult situation we faced (due to our bad luck) or bump into a positive and made our wedding destination a memorable one. Without her our beautiful wedding would not have been possible. So lucky to have found hwr and any bride lucky to work with her will see this for themselves from the moment you speak with her. I will continue to recommend Zerlene to family and friends, and will continue to use her for any future travel my husband and I have moving forward. She made an amazing mark on us on such a special time in our lives. My whole wedding party of 35 made special mention that she went above and beyond and this is something that we will all remember. We had to let go of our initial wedding planner a bit less than 2 months before the big day because nothing was done. Zerlene agreed to help us and we are so glad she did! The wedding went from being a guaranteed disaster to one of the best weddings our guests ever went to!
