Hi Joey! We chose our date for a number of reasons. It’s a Friday and not a Saturday so more options in terms of venues and some were cheaper or the better room for the same price kind of deal. My fiancé and I have family all over Canada, so we are hoping that by 2022 COVID will be a thing of the past and our family can attend our wedding. It’s Canada day so it’s a holiday for all our guests and for those coming from out of town it gives than more a day to visit with family and sightsee. Planning is going well, we have picked a venue and are waiting to sign the contract in November when their books open. Next is the photographer, DJ and dress.
