The Barn at Lions Garden Estate is a romantic rustic wedding venue near Tofield, Alberta. Situated in the rolling hills and idyllic countryside of Beaver County, this peaceful estate is only 25 minutes away from the vibrant city of Edmonton. The team at this stunning indoor and outdoor venue is dedicated to helping you create the wedding of your dreams. Their goal is to help you bring your vision to life, while creating an event that perfectly reflects your vision, style, and love story.
Facilities and Capacity
This venue is created to be a one-stop shop, the perfect place for you to have your dream ceremony, wedding reception, pictures, and create life long memories. A variety of packages are available to choose from. Couples can choose a one day or two day package or they could choose the “minimony” package specifically designed for those who want a smaller sized event.
The venue has several spaces to host the nuptial celebrations. Outside, couples are welcome to the ceremony garden close to the barn for the ritual service. Afterward, the pair-of-honour and guests can enjoy a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres in the outdoor courtyard and the lounge area at the Grain Bin Bar. Inside, a furnished loft and lounge area is an idyllic setting for the bride to relax and get ready. The big rustic Barn serves as a reception area for a night of dinner and dancing or an alternative ceremony space should the weather turn. The venue is complete with a professional equipped bar and a separate brand new modern washroom building.
The Barn at Lions Garden Estate hosts only one event per day, offering exclusive access for the celebrations. On the day, the venue attendants are available to orient vendors, greet guests and direct parking for seamless event execution. The bar service gives couples the freedom to work within their budget and customize liquor selections for their guests. A booking with this venue also includes the use of their farm and other tables, elegant cross-back chairs, unique table decor and various other décor pieces This makes it easy for you to plan and customize your event to your preferred style. The venue's team will also provide set-up and clean-up services on the day of your event, leaving you to focus on making memories with loved ones.

A Day to Remember, Thanks to Lions Garden
I had my wedding at The Lions Garden on May 24, 2025. From start to finish they helped make the wedding planning process as seamless as possible. We booked the venue late 2024 and had our wedding date picked out for a few months later. The venue is absolutely stunning. I liked having the ceremony space and reception on the same property. You can tell that Rene and Klaske spend a lot of time and effort into making this wedding venue a dream come true.
They were always available to answer any questions I had, even if they seemed a little crazy. We were able to visit the venue mid planning so that I could envision and decide exactly what we needed for decor, especially for the ceremony space.
In the days leading up to the big day, Rene and Klaske were in constant communication, ensuring I had everything ready and they knew what the plans were for the day. Once the big day came, Klaske and the floor manager Jennifer were so pleasant to deal with. Things were running behind and Klaske helped relieve some stress ensuring me that everything was good and the time didn't matter.
We ended up forgetting a few items when we were packing up at the end of the night. Rene and Klaske made sure I was able to retrieve these items in a timely manner.
Rene and Klaske, and the team at Lions Garden were such a big positive part of my wedding day. Every detail was handled with care and the guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the venue is!

Our day was absolutely beautiful and would not have been possible without the wonderful René, Klaske, and their amazing team.
They were so friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond for us and our family. They are all incredible people—personable, professional, and always there to help whenever needed.
From the walkthroughs to discussing décor to the wedding day itself, they were there for every step, answering any questions and responding quickly. Their knowledge and attention to detail ensured everything was in perfect order and ready to go. They also allowed us to visit the venue as many times as needed, helping us feel stress-free and well-prepared. Our day was so smooth allowing us to relax on our special day. They truly treat your wedding as if it's just as important to them as it is to you and your family.
As for the venue, it is absolutely stunning and so spacious! The hard work that goes into maintaining the venue is evident.

Magical venue and staff

Amazing venue!
Lions Garden was an absolutely gorgeous venue for our wedding! Klaske and René, along with their team were wonderful to deal with and they all made our day run so smoothly! They have such a unique and beautiful barn that left so many of our guests in awe! If you are looking for a rustic space, this is it! Truly, no others compare.

Gorgeous venue!!
The ceremony space was so beautiful! It was secluded and had such a nice woodsy feel to it. The reception space in the barn was amazing, needed no extra decor, and had so much room for guests.
The floor boards in the barn however were a bit wobbly in spots and I tripped on a couple. But other than that we had an amazing experience!

Thankful to Lion's Barn
Our wedding was originally scheduled in September 2021. Due to the pandemic, we had to move it to July 2022. Klaske and Rene accomodated us very well and they were very considerate.
The location was top notch. The rustic feel is legit! Their crew at wedding day was second to none. They were friendly, helpful and very organized! We got the kind of wedding that we wanted and and we are really thankful to them as they were a huge part of making that happen. I cannot ask for anything better in terms of dealing with a vendor.
I hope I can attend a wedding at Lion's Barn in the future (as a guest of course lol). I am looking forward to that day and say "Hi" to their dogs once again.
