We got married on Hummingbird Farm on July 23rd 2022. After finding their page on wedding wire it looked like the perfect venue for us - alas they were fully booked for 2022. But I contacted them anyway saying if they had any cancelations I would be interested, and it turned out they did have someone cancel! So we snapped up the date and planned a wedding in 3.5 months. The place was gorgeous, the flowers were in bloom, the weather was perfect. Though our week it was really buggy (we knew what we were getting into lol). They pretty much had everything for us, tables, chairs, tents, lights, and lots of add on rental options (though keep in mind that while you can add on, you can't take off, so be sure you need something before you order it, if you aren't sure, then best leave it off until later). The photos by the flower fields were a lot of fun, but we only found out that day we couldn't actually go IN to them, only pose in front. I get it though. Camping on site with the fire pit was a favorite part of mine, the sky was clear and we watched the shooting stars. The yert was nice, but oddly no mirrors (I think they will add some now). We ordered breakfast and tea for the morning and it was wonderful and tasty. There was a misunderstanding about sound volume as our MC was a bit on the loud side, but this was later fixed. Also a slight miscommunication with where the bridal party was getting ready, I had said to them we were getting ready in the basement of the farm house, but I guess it didn't get written down. No worries, they accommodated us fine.

Lana also saved our my cake! The vendor I got to do my cake didn't freeze the cake and it collapsed in or itself. Like a total boss, Lana saved the top piece, put it on a serving dish (which she didn't charge us for - thank you), turned the bottom to look like a pilaf dessert with berries, and redecorated the top to actually have room for our wedding toppers (another fail from the cake maker on that). Total Super woman. There was also an issue with our caterer not being able to fit through their oversized truck through the gate - again Lana and Brad to the rescue! They got everything down to the party and made it happen. They were very reasonable to work with, took care of issues that arose, and we would recommend them to anyone. :) Thank you so much!

Lana and Brad Braun, who own and run the farm, are the warmest, most lovely people you can imagine. We originally planned to be married in June, and covid had our plans changing many times. Lana and Brad were supportive, patient, flexible and full of ideas and resources for us. I started calling Lana my wedding fairy godmother, as I couldn’t have done any of it without her. They are your one stop wedding shop and can do it all - offer a beautiful space and decor, planning help, delicious catering, and the most stunning florals you will have ever seen. We are SO grateful we found these two and their beautiful farm, we had the best day of our lives getting married there. We loved that being earth conscious is important to them as well, all their flowers are organic and she doesn’t use foam. Lana is truly an artist, and we hope to find an excuse to work with her and Brad again in the future!

Lana and Brad are well organized welcoming hosts that only add to this spectacular riverside setting. The yurt is a great private honeymoon suite and the deck a perfect entertainment space.
