Century Barn is a wedding venue nestled among the rolling hills of Cavan, Ontario. The seven-generation estate run by the Stewart Family offers the perfect place to host weddings, corporate events, and community functions. With permanent fixtures and amenities, it is much more than a barn. Spectacular sunsets, hayfields, spring blossoms, summer breezes or fall foliage await to impress discerning visitors.
Facilities and capacity
Century Barn can hold a maximum of 140 guests and is available throughout the week for weddings and other special events. The venue has several spaces to host the nuptial celebrations. Outside, couples are welcome to the ceremony garden next to the barn for the ritual service. Afterward, the pair-of-honour and guests can enjoy a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres in the outdoor courtyard. Inside, a furnished loft and lounge area is an idyllic setting to enjoy a toast. The Grand Barn also serves as a reception area for a night of dinner and dancing or an alternative ceremony space should the weather turn. The venue is complete with a bar, including a fridge, a freezer, and taps. A wedding suite is open to the nearlyweds inside the barn, fitted with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a flushable washroom, and electrical outlets. To facilitate outside caterers on the day, the venue has a preparation pad with lighting and water access for an exceptional gourmet experience.
Services offered
Century Barn only hosts one event per day, offering exclusive access for the celebrations. On the day, the venue attendants are available to orient vendors, greet guests and direct parking for seamless event execution. The DIY bar service gives couples the freedom to work within their budget and customize liquor selections for their guests. A booking with Century Barn also includes the use of their tables, banquet chairs and various décor pieces, so there is one less thing to worry about. If the barn's collection does not suit your fancy, several excellent local vendors will have what you are looking for at competitive prices. The service offerings available include but are not limited to:

The Dream Wedding!
My husband and I just got married at Century Barn and it was the most blissful and PERFECt experience. They made our wedding day AND planning feel like a dream!
You can feel how much love and attention has been put into every aspect at Century Barn. When the vendors and the CB team work so in sync, you know they have that special touch that makes everyone feel welcome. The owner Brooke, our coordinator Seanna, the CB team and all the vendors made our wedding a magical dream, they went above and beyond when the rain was cutting it close for the ceremony but with a window of clear skies, they made a glorious and dry ceremony happen! (Even blow-drying the tree leaves to avoid any delayed droplets!)
We loved every step of the planning process, and are honestly sad that its over! As the bride, I fully took in the day and enjoyed every moment without any stress because of the trust I had in them, and they worked so well to make it seamless. We adore the connections we made with everyone and know that they will give 110% for the next couple and so on!
Without a doubt, this is your sign to get married at Century Barn! And I highly recommend working with the vendors they work with; Katie Shaw from Born To Be Photography, Chef Aaron from ACCatering, DJ Lex and DJ Lynz, and Mike Gibbs the Florist.

The Most Magical Place
From the moment we visited Century Barn last summer we knew we found the most magical place for our wedding. Working with Brooke and Joon and their amazing wedding planning team was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL! Their love and care showed up in everything they did and in every touch point, both during the planning process and on our wedding day! Our wedding was exactly what we hoped for and for anyone looking for a little piece of heaven to celebrate their love, Century Barn is the place.

Perfect Day 💕
My husband (still can’t believe I get to say that!) and I got married at Century Barn this past Saturday, and it was truly the most perfect day of our lives. From the moment we started planning, everything felt so seamless thanks to the incredible team of Natasha, Brooke, Joon, and Christine.
While friends of mine were feeling overwhelmed with their own wedding planning, I honestly felt so at ease because Century Barn takes care of everything. From the caterers to the DJ, to setting up the tables on the day-of, they had it all covered. We didn’t even need to bring any décor, the venue has so many beautiful options to choose from.
If you’re looking for a stunning venue and a stress-free experience, we couldn’t recommend Century Barn more. Thank you to the entire Century Team for making our day so magical!

A Dream Come True at Century Barn !
Our wedding at Century Barn on July 26, 2025, was nothing short of perfection, and we cannot recommend this venue highly enough! From our very first meeting, the team at Century Barn, especially Brooke and Natalie, made the entire planning process an absolute breeze. Their thoughtful guidance and meticulous attention to detail truly made everything leading up to the big day feel easy and stress-free.
​The venue itself is simply stunning. Our family and friends were absolutely blown away by its beauty and charm. On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. It was clear that every single detail had been carefully considered and perfected by the Century Barn team. This allowed us to fully relax and maximize our enjoyment of our special day, knowing that everything was in incredibly capable hands.
​Brooke's incredible energy and kind heart shone brightly from the moment we met her, and Natalie was an absolute superstar throughout the entire process. Their dedication and passion for what they do truly made a difference.

If You're Looking For The Perfect Venue - Don't Look Anywhere Else
Words will never be able to accurately describe how thankful we are for Brooke, Joon, Natasha, and the entire Century Barn team for making our wedding day so incredibly magical! From the first time we toured the venue until we left the property on our wedding night, everything was absolutely perfect. The entire team went above and beyond not just on our wedding day, but all throughout the planning process to give us our DREAM wedding - and to be honest it turned out even better than we could've imagined. They handled everything so well that the only thing we had to worry about on our wedding day was enjoying it!
Not a single detail was missed. Every vendor they recommended was amazing. And their communication was always top notch. I don't think a more perfect or beautiful wedding venue exists and we lost count of the number of guests that told us how much they loved the venue and all it had to offer (stunning gardens, lawn games, the loft, the bonfire).
The best decision I've ever made (besides my husband) was choosing Century Barn for our wedding! If you're looking for the perfect wedding venue, look no further!!!

Lynsey and Jamie's Wedding
From our first meeting on a cold December day with Brooke at the barn, up to the flawless wedding day experience, everything was perfect. Brooke, Natasha and everyone at Century Barn were friendly, professional and attentive. They were receptive to our input and very knowledgeable with their advice. The entire team made our day next to stress-free. We knew from the start that we were in good hands. The barn and property is an amazing place to get married. The outdoor ceremony garden is in a lovely area surrounded by flowers and trees. The wildflower garden is a perfect spot for pictures. The barn has a lovely bridal suite where Lynsey and her party were able to get ready. I was able to relax in the loft area with my wedding party while waiting for guests to arrive. We simply cannot say enough as to how pleased we are with our whole experience. Century Barn does weddings well. Choosing them is a perfect choice to host the wedding of your dreams. A Flawless Day
We are absolutely thrilled we chose to have our wedding at Century Barn in October of 2024. It is a stunning venue and no detail is overlooked. From start to finish their team was nothing less than exceptional. They made the entire process easy and stress free, and you can tell they really care about their clients. Their professionalism is also reflected in the vendors they choose to work with, all of which were just amazing. Overall, choosing Century Barn for one of the biggest days of our lives is one of the best decisions we've ever made.

September Wedding at Century Barns
We couldn’t put into words how amazing the entire team at Century Barns was for our wedding. They have truly mastered how to make planning a wedding as stress-free as possible. Brooke and Joon are some of the most friendly and kind humans and we fell in love with both the venue and the staff instantly. We had the pleasure of working with Kim and Christine, who understood our vision (even better than we did) and executed it flawlessly. If you’re even considering having your wedding at Century Barns, just do it!! You’ll have zero regrets!
