From a spacious Upper Plateau with ceremony sites and outdoor dance area, beautiful rustic reception barn that can also host your dance, to beautiful backdrops for photos all wrapped up in affordable wedding packages, Barn Up The Hill offers everything you need for a stress free special day!

Facilities and Capacity

Barn Up The Hill is a family owned property that features a renovated barn, boasting multiple options for holding outdoor and indoor events. The ceremony sites are set up with rustic benches surrounded by forest or overlooking the lake and mountain view, it can host a maximum of 120 for your ceremony.

The rustic barn with reclaimed wood, Edison lights and lots of windows and a glass wall that can open in whole or part, has a maximum capacity of 100 seated and can comfortably host small parties for just 10 people. One side of the barn opens to the solarium to provide food service. After food service this becomes a lounge area for the bar. For your caterer we have a prep kitchen and service area with sink, fridges and tables. The three-sided bar provides a great food or drink service option for a standing reception in front of the barn.

Fully stocked guest washrooms disguised in a cute chicken coop. Our Bridal Cottage is a great place to get ready for your special day with beautiful views, full washroom, kitchenette and living room and sunroom. If having children at your event we offer two fun play areas for littles to bigger kids, including a scavenger hunt. The parking field and walkway to the ceremony area begin the special adventure for your guests. Between event components guests can play yard games, which we have a large inventory of, enjoy the mountain and lake views, or just take in the nature all around.

Services Offered

Our packages are full service including Planning Consultations, Day of Coordinator, Event Team, Set Up, Tear Down and use of our extensive inventory of items. You can choose from a Sweet & Simple wedding (ceremony with social time and standing reception) to our Ultimate (full ceremony, sit down reception and dance).

Included in our packages is our full inventory of decor and reception items from furniture ,linens, arbours, decor, dishes and more. With over thirty years of combined experience in event planning, the team at Barn Up The Hill has organized grand celebrations and small parties should you require wedding planning we can assist with that too.

Receptions
We do not provide catering, but all clients must have a caterer if providing food for any part of their event. Our reception barn inventory includes rectangular or round tables, chairs, table linens, runners, plateware, glassware, silverware, table decor and more. Our food service area offers prep station for caterer with fridge and sink.

The rustic bar offers a large area to host your reception with access to a fridge and freezer, coolers for ice and drinks. The front of the barn makes for a great spot for a pre reception with our wine barrel food bar or our unique canoe that can serve food or your non alcoholic self serve drinks, or both. Please note we do not provide catering or liquor service.
