The Venue And Staff Made Our Wedding Truly Special!
From the very beginning, the team at Lundy Manor made us feel welcomed and offered the flexibility that we weren't getting with other venues. Paige was amazing and incredibly transparent throughout the process and Jon was a wealth of knowledge when it came to wine pairings for our food choices. The team was very accommodating and helpful to make our day special and the Airbnb was a great option during the end of our wedding night. -

Highly recommend as a wedding venue!
My now husband and I had the privilege of having our wedding at Lundy Manor. From the moment we signed our contract, I knew we were in good hands! Paige and John were amazing, answered all of my questions and emails quickly and accurately throughout the process and made our day perfect! I had 10 bridesmaids and we had more than enough room in the bridal suite for getting ready! Not one hiccup thanks to their amazing team! Our guests had amazing bad service and were raving about the wine! If you are considering getting married here I would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. -

Amazing Venue!!
I had the pleasure of having my wedding at Lundy Manor! The service was amazing, the staff were amazing and made sure the day ran as smoothly as possible! Lundy was able to work within our budget to ensure they were able to accommodate us! I would recommend this venue every single time!-

Our dream wedding
We are so grateful with Lundy Manor Wine Cellars. They made our process so easy. April and John did such an amazing job creating the perfect landscape for our special day. Their venue is elegant, cute, modern and cozy. We love wineries but didn't want a barn. They offered us the perfect indoor and outdoor space. We used the back of the property with the beautiful pergola for the ceremony. And their indoor space for our reception. They gave us exclusive access to the venue after 3 pm. We fit close to 100 people indoors. The cocktail hour area was big and comfortable as well. They managed our bar and offered great quality of dreams. They were so accommotading with our requests as well. Room was a bit tight for dancing with the amount of people we had, so they quickly opened up more space for us once dinner was over. They also offered us a beautiful getting ready room for the day of.
Thank you to all the staff at Lundy Manor for making oir dream a reality! ❤️-

Lots of Unprofessional Curveballs
Initially all communication with the venue was amazing. We planned our wedding online from afar and had to make changes and Jenny was so awesome. Unfortunately, we got a call 2 weeks before our wedding saying they fired their event staff and decided to move it all in house. I was told everything was under control. We showed up the night before for our rehearsal and to start decorating and there was a band playing and patrons around. We had to move around them to start setting up which was very unprofessional. On the day of the wedding, we got a call that instead of 5 tables of 12 it's 6 tables of 10. It turns out the staff at Lundy decided to set the reception room up completely differently than the map I was given. This through off the caterers, the seating chart, and the center pieces amongst other things. When I asked why they argued with me and wouldn't change it to the original map. We paid for open bar and wine on the tables. They refused to put wine on the tables and we had to ask multiple times to have it poured. They told my wedding planner that we paid for 5 hours of open bar and would not open it up until 8 pm which is not the case or what was in our contract. Our guests were also supposed to be able to buy bottles of wine should they choose and when people asked they were told process weren't available so they couldn't.
Toward the end of the night, there was a woman and her little girl on the dance floor that were not part of our guests. We found out they were friends of the owners who were staying there that night and decided to crash the wedding. We paid for exclusive access to the venue and this is what we got. When I reached out with my concerns afterwards, I received no response. Very disheartening for all of this to happen on your wedding day. -

Beautiful venue and great value
The team at Lundy manor is amazing. They made sure everything was taken care of. They had the main room blocked off for us the day before and the day of the wedding and we had all the access we needed to come in and leave what we wanted in the beautiful bridal suite as well as set up for the ceremony and reception. They were organized and helpful throughout the whole planning and wedding and even went above and beyond by packing absolutely everything up including the bridal suite before 11am the morning after. They made everything effortless. We are beyond happy with our decision to have our wedding at the manor and highly recommend them. We also opted not to have the tent and with 100 people we had plenty of indoor space to use if it had rained and had more than enough space when it did not with the entire property for our private use.-

If only I could have a smaller wedding...
This is a bit of an odd review since we will not be having our wedding here (unfortunately), but we had to make this review because that's how much impact Erin, the staff and the Lundy Manor had on our search for our wedding venue.
We could not go with the Lundy Manor solely because of capacity. I personally did not want an outdoor wedding, so the indoor option was just too small for our guest list. From the moment we walked in, it was just perfect in every other way. Mark, Paige, Erin and an older gentlemen were all so attentive and helpful. The wine was also a plus, it was delicious! We were hooked, almost blinded that we could make our guest list work just so we could have it at the Lundy Manor! We went back and forth on our decision for months because we really did want the Lundy Manor but ultimately decided that having all of our special people was more important.
But... we do want to say that Erin was so amazing and any couple that gets married there it’s truly lucky to have her! If you are an outdoor bride or have a smaller guest list, please get married here!! It's just so beautiful and Erin is great! She sat with us every time and answered all of our questions and was candid and just a lovely person to be around with.
Again to everyone at the Lundy Manor, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your attention, checking in, helping us, and being so patient. -

Perfect Wedding Venue and the best Wedding and Events Manager
We recently held our wedding at Lundy Manor Wine Cellars and had a great experience! This is primarily down to Erin, the Wedding and Events Manager at the venue. Thank you Erin! We booked with Erin in January 2018 for our wedding on 23 June 2018.
A little pre-amble before the review: We had a horrible experience where our first wedding venue cancelled on us in November. As half of our guests were coming from abroad and had already booked travel, we could not change the wedding date. Every venue I had contacted was unavailable on our wedding date. We decided to book with Lundy Manor without even seeing the venue in person. In fact, it was not even open to the public when we booked! My parents visited on our behalf, but we did not see Lundy Manor until May of this year. This was a bit daunting, but we truly felt safe with Erin and the Lundy Manor family.
My husband and I live in Scotland so planning a wedding across the pond was a bit more difficult. Nonetheless, Erin answered all of our texts, emails, and facetime calls quickly and with the information required or if she did not have the answer, she would find out as soon as possible.
We found Erin and Lundy Manor very easy to deal with. The venue did not officially open to the public until March, but Erin would send us photos every few weeks on the progress of the landscaping and the interior design of the venue. It really put our mind at ease.
We were amazed with Erin’s organisational and communication skills. The few weeks leading up to the wedding, Erin was asking the right questions, had reached out to all of our vendors, and made sure that she had confirmations and ticked all of the boxes. It’s like she had her own Gantt chart for our wedding!
The days leading up to the wedding were a bit stressful. The weather called for thunderstorms and rain during our ceremony – which was outdoors. We discussed the contingency (hold the ceremony inside, when you first enter, turn left). We were happy with this. It would have been a tight squeeze (due to the size of our wedding), but it still would have been beautiful! Luckily, the rain held off and we were able to hold our ceremony outdoors.
We had access to the ‘bridal suite’ – which is so beautifully decorated. This is located on the second floor and has a window looking out to the ceremony area. It was lovely watching our guests arrive (without being seen!)
Lundy Manor Wine Cellars were brilliant during the lead up and the event. I received many compliments from our guests on the staff – very respectful and kind.
The wine – we are big lovers of the Riesling. So crisp and refreshing! Our guests also really enjoyed the Proprietor's Blend.
There was a minor issue with the transportation that we had booked to transit our guests from the venue back to their hotel. Erin sorted this out without having to ask my husband or I for clarification. This allowed us to truly enjoy our evening!
Although the day went off without any major issues, I would recommend that the venue has a lectern/mic stand (with a light) available, which will help the wedding party during speeches. It was a bit difficult for my dad to read his speech without the stand, and with the marquee being dimly lit.
Holding our wedding at Lundy Manor was the best decision. Thank you so much to the staff – to Lousie, Mark, Erin, and everyone else! You guys helped make our day the most memorable! We will always hold a special place in our heart for Lundy Manor Wine Cellars.
