Chris and Sara were amazing and we were so thrilled to find them! They were quick in communication, friendly and personable, and the photos we got were more than we expected, in quality and quantity (we have upwards of 4,000 photos!!) Their prices were right - the package we booked was less in price than the comparables we found. We loved them so much we ended up booking them for extended family pictures in the fall! Don’t hesitate, book Out of Step!!

This vendor did a beautiful job with the photos and video. We really appreciated them at the wedding that day, they were laid back and helped everyone feel comfortable and directed us with some good poses and other things for the pictures and video. The pricing was very reasonable and it was one of the big reasons we chose them as well as the package of photo and video together and how laid back they were.
While I appreciate a lot of that, the issue we ran into is a bit of a lack of professionalism when it comes to communication and the delivery of the photos and video in a timely manner.
The contract had 3 options for payment that included an option to pay a portion 2 weeks before the wedding and a portion 2 weeks after; OR, to pay the remaining portion upon delivery of the photos but then up front cost would’ve been more. Anyway, we chose the pay within 2 weeks of the wedding option; I wish we had chosen the payment upon delivery of photos and video. The contract stated 8-12 weeks for delivery and we received the photos 22 weeks after the wedding. The videos came by YouTube almost 30 weeks after and it wasn’t all of them, the final video came another couple weeks after that. We just received our usb stick with all of our media here in mid May, 8 months after the wedding.
While I appreciate we did finally receive everything and they were great to work with on the day, I can’t help but feel like there would’ve been more incentive for them to finish the editing had we opted for the payment upon receipt option. We paid in full within 2 weeks after our wedding as was agreed upon and waited a very long time with no communication from them for the delivery. I had to reach out every single time for the update. It has left what was a great experience feeling like a poor one. We are happy with the final product and would recommend if you choose to work with them to choose the payment upon receipt option.

Chris and Sarah are extremely friendly people who captured our day perfectly. Their editing style is exactly what I imagined and they did a great job at capturing the long list of things we requested. They give an aura of calm and it’s very easy to feel comfortable in their presence. Thank you for capturing our day so well!

Sara and Chris were amazing from the start. They were super flexible with what we wanted to book, since we already had an engagement session they instead came to our night before dinner and captured moments with our close family & friends. Leading up to the wedding day, they asked how they could make our day extra special and went with everything we had envisioned. They helped us take most of our decor home the night of the wedding, which was super helpful & lovely so we could enjoy the after party. The photos turned out amazing, there are SO many! Definitely book this couple and you won't be disappointed.

We were so nervous about being on video, but Chris and Sara made it so easy. They helped us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I cant express how happy I am about our photos and videos! Sarah and Chris are so talented at what they do! I hate getting my photo taken and Sarah always made the extra effort to keep me comfortable and catch candid moments of pure happiness. They are both such wonderful people to work with, they made it all so easy, even when organizing large group photos. Even at the end of their time in the evening they stayed to sneak a few more photos of the reception! The quality of their work is beautiful! We love all our photos and videos, more than we were expecting. Highly recommend, and I wont hesitate to hire them again to capture treasured moments in the future.

We just finished going through all of our wedding photos, and we are completely blown away. Chris and Sara of Out Of Step Productions were incredible from our first meeting until the moment we received our final photos.

Not only did they capture our amazing moments, but we have the opportunity to see how our friends and loved ones reacted to those moments as well. That is something that we will cherish as we look back. The extra photos of our guests and the venue will help us hold that night in our memory in its entirety.

Working with them from our first interaction was amazing. It is obvious that they are talented at their craft, but even better is the way they made us feel so comfortable and natural. Our engagement shoot turned out even better than we expected. They were able to loosen us up, draw out natural smiles, and turn a dreary day weather-wise into a beautiful memory.

On the day of our wedding, our timeline was once again affected by weather. Chris and Sara were open to multiple back up options, even suggesting a few of their own. We were able to find a solution that worked for everyone, and the results were amazing. The photos from our ceremony and reception turned out beautifully, and we marveled at how Chris and Sara were able to have an eye for the lighting, ambience, and overall vibe we were going for.

Throughout our entire experience with them, Chris and Sara were very professional. They were easy to liaise with, prompt at responding to questions, and even more timely than expected in delivering final results. Above all else was the fact that they were an absolute blast to work with!

Sara and Chris of Out of Step Productions are the amazing artists that created our wedding video. They are thoughtful with how they communicate, especially with Sara explaining the process of producing a video that will fit into your vision. A lot of small pieces help create your story and they documented our wedding day really well by piecing together all those special, intimate moments. They were also very open-minded when I requested adding a touch of home video-style snippets to our video. They also really know to ask the right questions so they can get as close as possible to your vision. During our wedding day, they made us feel comfortable and excited! They made everyone in the video looked so good! We are so glad we booked Out of Step Productions because they are professional, fun, and delivered a wonderful memento that we will keep watching multiple times over the coming years.
