We loved working with Bright Ideas Films for our budget, micro wedding this summer! We had a lunch reception and thus were working on a very tight timeline for photos and video before the ceremony. Stephanie was calm, effective, and efficient in getting all the shots we needed within a short amount of time, all while keeping her cool and allowing us to move through the event without any added stress. Stephanie had a take a warm-but-take-charge attitude that myself as a timid bride found SO helpful and needed.

We had a call ahead of time to talk about the overall vibe we wanted - warm, intimate, like a Sunday afternoon backyard brunch with family, and they really listened and understood exactly what we were going for. On the day of the wedding, they were calm, professional, and completely focused on capturing every moment. Everyone was mic’d up, so the sound was great, and because we were able to add two extra hours of coverage, our whole day was captured perfectly.

We are so grateful for all the special moments of guests they captured that our photos didn’t fully cover — it’s such a meaningful keepsake to see everyone we love included. After the wedding, they were also wonderfully flexible and quickly made a requested change to include a specific shot with no trouble at all.
