AMV is a One-Stop Shop!

AMV photographed our engagement photos in 2019 and our intimate wedding in 2020. Then in 2021 for our reception we used their DJ, photographers, and videographers. Each and every time we worked with AMV we were blown away! I can't say enough good things about the quality of their work. I would absolutely recommend them in a heartbeat.

Cursores his owner don’t pay the photografers I had a very disappointing experience working with this company. The owner consistently takes advantage of photographers, using any excuse, no matter how minor, to withhold payment. Payments are delayed well beyond the agreed 30-day period, and even when the photos are used for clients, the owner still finds reasons not to pay. It’s not just me; other photographers have faced the same issues. This behavior is unprofessional and unfair to hardworking photographers who deserve proper compensation. Dear customers, please don’t hide these people, because they take advantage, and you have no idea what they do with our payments. If anyone needs more details, I’m more than willing to provide further information. I would not recommend working with them.

Be cautious when booking as DJs

The worst music I’ve ever experienced at a wedding was at my own because of these DJs.

The issues started two days before the wedding when they, out of the blue, made an unscheduled, lengthy call to go over the already discussed itinerary. Then, the night before the wedding at 8 p.m., they sent a waiver to only my wife to sign without including me or our designated wedding coordinator (who had been CC’d in all previous correspondence and was present at every group meeting), absolving them of all responsibility for media failures. This felt inappropriate and unsettling.

Then the day of the wedding during cocktail hour, our wedding coordinator went over to say hi to the DJs and was informed that neither had worked together before. This was a little concerning because we had only had planned for one DJ and had to pay for a second meal we were not prepared for.

Throughout the night of the wedding, they missed cues, had issues playing the audio on a sound-based video we made to present that was given to them well in advance, played the music way too loud during dinner, and didn’t follow the schedule we had given them. All of these problems actively distracted my wife and me from enjoying our wedding, as we were constantly having to send our MC or wedding planner over to the booth or go over ourselves.

Nonetheless, we tried to let it all roll off our backs… until the dancing portion. We were very particular about the kind of music we liked, with an extensive request list we had provided a month prior. They played almost none of the songs from that list. Instead, they opted for soft rock and Bryan Adams-type music that only catered to the older guests who weren’t even interested in dancing.

When we went to ask for the songs we requested, they unpromptedly stated it was hard to get people on the dance floor because the bar was outside. They then proceeded to play only a couple of songs from our playlist (which, as we had promised, hyped up the dance floor), only to immediately go back to their own selections which, on a dime, cleared the room.

As a side note: I said I liked ’80s music and wanted Italian folk songs. Instead, they played no ’80s music and only played “That’s Amore” to cover the Italian portion which I considered slightly racist. Even after we requested specific Italian songs, they still didn’t play them.

The music played at our wedding was very important to us. We had a very specific vision for what we wanted to hear. Instead, we were left with generic songs that didn’t entertain us or our guests. We even had guests complain to us during the party that the music was atrocious and begged us to speak to the DJs to liven things up.

It honestly felt like the DJs were angry at us and actively trying to ruin the night, because there was no other explanation for such a complete disregard of everything we discussed or requested.

In all, our wedding would have been perfect if it weren’t for the failures of the AMV DJs. We are extremely upset and feel completely let down.

AMV for the win !

Wow wow wow,
I couldn't be more thrilled or say enough good things about AMV we used their DJ and photography services and I don't have my photos back yet as we just had our wedding but we also used them for our engagement shoot and our photos were incredible, our photographer was showing us some snaps on the camera and they looked incredible I cannot wait to get them back.
Our DJ Andre was fantastic and played amazing songs and was super helpful
Highly recommend AMV for all your wedding services !!

All in one service

We booked AMV for both photography and DJ services for our wedding. I appreciated that they were able to offer both services so it was one less vendor we needed to find. They were very familiar with the venue and were a big help in ironing out the details of our day-off schedule. True professionals who know how to execute a party and capture great moments.

Amazing job!

AMV was such a delight to work with and their passion really shines through their work. We hired them for videography and DJ services and had the best time ever! The best part of the night was our same day edit and it had all of the guests crying. The videographers were very professional and made us feel comfortable throughout the day! The videos turned out so so beautiful. Our DJ, Juan was also AMAZING! We had a diverse crowd and Juan kept people on the dancefloor the ENTIRE night. We got so many compliments about him and are so so happy that we hired AMV for our special day. Thanks again!

Exceptional wedding videographer

We couldn't be happier with our wedding videographers! Having worked with this friendly and patient team before as part of several wedding parties, we already knew they were fantastic. But seeing them in action from the perspective of a bride and groom truly exceeded our expectations. The same-day edit was nothing short of incredible, perfectly capturing the emotion and magic of our special day. Their attention to detail, ability to capture all the special moments, and even staying longer than planned at our reception showcased their dedication. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a team that will go above and beyond!

Refusing to give me my product

Really not sure what else I have to do to get the attention of this company. I got married FIVE YEARS ago and I still have not gotten my videography from amv. I’m beyond annoyed at this point as I have told them that some of my father’s last words to me before he passed was at my wedding in his speach. They continue to send me my photography which Iv stated over and over I have that, it’s my videography I’m missing. I have been in contact with the owner of the company as no one else returns my call, he barely even does. Many many emails that have not gotten replied to, and voicemails that Iv gotten no calls back. Not only did the owner yell at me at one point and tell me that it was not his problem, but he always acts like we have never spoken about this before every time he finally calls me back. To top it all off their store front is now closed, and all emails are bouncing back. The ONLY thing I want is what I paid for which is my videography. Would be awesome if you would stop holding some of my dad’s last words from me as hostage.

Great Photographers, Terrible Management and Admin

Our wedding photos came out amazing, the two photographers assigned to our wedding were wonderful and talented.
We got married in August 2022, received our photos digitally in December 2022. The photos turned out wonderful. As part of the package, we were promised a photo album. We sent in our photo selection to Tina and were promised that the album would be produced and delivered in the "off season" in the spring before things ramp up again. Upon following up, we learned that they had issues with their supplier/did not get the order in in time. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to wait patiently. It has been more than a year now since our wedding, and almost a year since we got our pictures and have been expecting our album. The album is nowhere in sight. I do not think it is professional or good practice to have someone who paid for a full service and package to be given relentless excuses for almost a year. This has left a bad taste in our mouthes which unfortunately resulted in this bad review. Would not recommend, there are so many other better services out there to choose from.

Amazing video and DJ services!

We hired AMV for both videography and DJ services and we are beyond happy with the service we received! We had Aaron, Joseph, and Natan and they were all so professional and efficient and very wonderful to work with! Aaron made our same day edit and it turned out so amazing! For DJ/MCs we had Al and Cozjin and they were so great, lively during MC stuff, and kept the dance floor full later on in the evening! AMV was very organized and detailed during the planning process as well, so happy we booked with them!
