My husband and I (finally) got married on August 29, 2021 and were working with Ashley for almost two years to plan our wedding. Due to COVID we had to postpone and deal with many bumps in the planning road along the way. Planning for a wedding in normal circumstances is hard enough, never mind during a worldwide pandemic! Dealing with the additional stressors of the pandemic made planning difficult but Ashley was always remained calm, collected and prepared with a solid plan (A, B and C)! Ashley always has a solution for whatever we were faced with and continually advocated for us.
When I first met Ashley I had an idea of what I wanted for my wedding but wasn’t entirely sure how to articulate my vision. Ashley took the pieces of information I provided her with and absolutely surpassed any idea or vision that I could have possibly had for the day. Everything was so well organized and every detail, no matter how small, was taken into consideration. The venue was transformed into something classic, romantic and gorgeous thanks to Ashley. The head table is the one thing I can really remember due to being completely overwhelmed on the day of (lol) but I remember being completely blown away by how beautiful everything was.
Every recommendation Ashley made for a vendor, accessory or decoration was spot on. Ashley is an absolute super star and treats you and your wedding like it’s the only one on her plate. Ashley is supportive, friendly, caring, tentative and hardworking.
Ashley will happily work with you to answer any questions you may have - no matter how big or small it may seem. She makes you feel heard, understood and most importantly valued.
It was such a pleasure to work with Ashley over the past two years on our wedding. I could not recommend anyone better than Ashley. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! I feel truly blessed that our paths crossed - I could not imagine my day without her by my side. She did the most wonderful job making my dreams come true and exceeded all expectations.
No matter what the event may be, I will always recommend Ashley. She is creative, vibrant, energetic and will execute to the fullest.

Had a beautiful stress free wedding thanks to Ashley!
If you’re looking for a stress free wedding day Ashley is the wedding planner for you! Deciding to hire Ashley was hands down the best decisions we made for our wedding on October 15th 2022. She is extremely kind, detail-oriented, and extremely organized. She not only helped execute my dream vision she also provided a lot of emotional support, day or night as she was always available via text or phone call. She took all of the stress off my husband and I’s plate by finding us the best vendors that met my vision/budget. She also went out of her way to pick up our wedding cake and bring it the venue wedding day. She even transported all of our decor to our venue the day of the wedding since she didn’t want us to stress about it. On the day of the wedding, her and her assistant Sam made sure my husband and I had absolutely nothing to do but just relax. She and her Sam did an absolutely beautiful job setting up ceremony area as well our our reception/receiving table. She made sure every little detail fell into place so I wouldn’t have to worry about a single thing. She was great with coordinator everything with the vendors and venue. My husband and I can’t thank Ashely enough. She will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

The BEST Day-Of Coordinator!!
Ashley is the best decision we ever made when it came to planning our wedding - HANDS DOWN! The amount of relief and reassurance she gave us is more than we could have ever asked for. From our first phone call to the day of the wedding, she made the whole process super smooth and answered ALL our questions in a timely manner. I, personally, get stressed out really easily when it comes to planning, but Ashley managed to put all of that away, ESPECIALLY on the day of the wedding! The big day was absolutely perfect and Ashley made sure of that. I didn't have to worry at all and was able to enjoy the big day from beginning to end! I could not imagine planning this wedding without her. You will not be disappointed!!

In the midst of what most couples would consider their most challenging month, Ashley made our experience so positive as she led us to the wedding we both always wanted. Phenomenal!
Ashley and her team were absolutely phenomenal! If I could give one piece of advice to any future bride it would be to have a month/day of coordinator. Our wedding day was such a breeze with the help of Ashley - she was on top of everything and was so helpful leading up to the big day as well. Highly recommend!!

Wedding Planner of my dreams!
I honestly don't know how I found Ashley and Velvet Bordeaux events! We connected for the first time by phone and from that first call, I was impressed by her professionalism and positivity. We hired Ashley for day of coordination and she guided us through building an itinerary for the day, weeks ahead. Ashley made great recommendations for outstanding vendors, and kept in touch to assist with any of our needs. The week before the wedding, she came in like a fairy godmother and took over all correspondence. I know there was a lot to coordinate between the venue and our vendors and she handled it all. It gave us the opportunity to have a less stressful week and we knew we were in good hands. Meeting her in person was even more of a pleasure, both Ashley and her assistant were everything you could wish for in a planner. Calm, positive, organized, upbeat and professional. We threw Ashley a few curve balls with last minute changes and she accommodated instantly to ensure a flawless event. The fairy godmother of our fairytale wedding!!
I can’t express the weight that was lifted off of my shoulders the first time that I spoke with Ashley. She was so kind, professional and asked all the right questions, even the ones I hadn’t thought of. VBE’s wedding management service was exactly what I was looking for, as I had done most of the planning and arranged the vendors. Ashley worked with me for the months leading up to our wedding, organizing every detail and working with all of our vendors to ensure our day was perfect. She even sent a map of our venue to our vendors with a pathway indicating the best way for them to bring everything in! Ashley and her assistant Sam took care of everything for our wedding day; decorating the church and venue, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and even packing all of the decor and bringing it to our cars at the end of the evening. This was absolute best decision we made in terms of our wedding and I encourage anyone who is looking for wedding planning/management service to get in touch with VBE!!
