Madison Sent on 24/10/2026Incredibly disappointing - lack of responsiveness & professionalism
Very disappointing experience with Servers With a Smile, especially considering how excited we initially were to work with them for our wedding.
A family member had previously used their services and recommended them, so we were looking forward to working together. We spent over an hour in an initial consultation discussing our wedding vision, floral arrangements, and various rental options. We were excited enough about the possibility of working with them that our interest expanded beyond just flowers (our initial interest) to include charger plates, candles, candle holders, and other décor rentals.
Following our consultation on August 25, we were told we would receive a quote/invoice shortly. On August 30, I sent over a detailed document with inspiration photos, our vision, and all the additional information requested to help put together our quote.
Unfortunately, that’s where the communication essentially stopped.
Despite multiple follow-up emails (and calls/voicemails) over the following weeks, we never received a quote or any meaningful update. By October 13, nearly seven weeks after our initial consultation, I sent one final email expressing our disappointment and explaining that we would need to explore other options if we didn’t hear back by the end of that week. We still received no response.
What makes this particularly frustrating is the amount of time and effort we invested in the process, especially after such a promising initial consultation. We were genuinely interested in booking them for several aspects of our wedding and were prepared to move forward.
After experiencing this ourselves, I noticed several other reviews describing similar issues with communication and follow-through. It’s disappointing to see what appears to be a recurring pattern, particularly when these are such important events that require reliable vendors.
We completely understand that wedding vendors are busy, but a simple response or update would have gone a long way. If they were unable to take on our wedding, we would have appreciated that being communicated rather than being left waiting for nearly two months.
Wedding planning is stressful enough without having to repeatedly chase down a vendor who initially seemed interested in working with you. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism, communication, and follow-through left us feeling that we couldn’t confidently trust them with such an important part of our day.
A very disappointing experience overall, and one I would strongly encourage other couples to keep in mind when considering their wedding vendors. -

Excellent service
Rebecca was amazing for our whistle bear wedding. We purchased some fresh greenery and rented some decor items for our ceremony, and hired servers with a smile to set up and tear down our own decor. Everything was so smooth and seemless, and the decor turned out beautiful!! -

The servers with a smile team made our wedding day a breeze! They took care of set up and take down so we could enjoy our night and not stress.
They were very responsive with questions and have a great inventory of decorations!
There was a hiccup with our center pieces the day before our wedding but they were upfront with us and offered a solution right away. -

Rebecca, Amanda and team transformed an empty pavilion into a beautiful wedding venue in a few short hours. They were able to bring our entire vision to life with patience and expertise.
At the beginning of the wedding planning process, I wasn't sure we needed the support Servers With A Smile provided and at the end of the whole process, it was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made!
We can't thank them enough for all their help, including all the advice, recommendations, the clean up at the end of the night, coordinating all the vendors and making our wedding as stress-free as possible.
On top of the fantastic service, Rebecca was unwavering in her commitment to be there for us the whole process, including multiple reschedules.

Rebecca did such an amazing job making our vision come to life! From our first meeting with her over coffee, we knew we had found the perfect decorator. She is so well-organized and has a fantastic inventory of products to decorate your wedding. She was professional and made us feel comfortable. Thanks again Rebecca for all of your hard work! We got so many compliments from guests about the decor. -

I had a DIY wedding and didn't have enough time to get set up properly the night before, but by the time we had arrived at the reception the next day, Rebecca had everything fixed and set up so I didn't have to stress about anything. Even a few guests commented about how amazing she was. Definitely recommend. -
