We just came back from our wedding at the Barcelo Maya Beach resort in Riviera Maya.
We originally dealt with Debbie, who was a pleasure to deal with. However a few months before the trip she took a leave of absence. This cause panick, but Liz Moore herself took over and was able to answer all my questions.
They made this process less stressful and provided guidence on where to even start.
Cons: There was a lot that was not explained. I originally thought I had booked for the Barcelo Palace not the Beach which is a HUGE difference. I did not find this out until the payment came through and had our confirmation with the Barcelo Maya Beach name on it. I was told not a big deal the wedding day would still be at the Palace. I was also advised I had to pay more to use the Gazebo since we were not staying at the Palace. Not a big difference but wish this was explained a bit better.
Upon check in the information from Air Transat was not passed on to the hotel which caused some stress for some of our guest.
Liz Moore was available to take all my calls and offered a solution with a timely manner.
Over All the service was good.

I have been working with Nicole for our wedding in Cancun for 2023 and she has been amazing to work with! She explains everything so well and doesn't make me feel pressured to choose a resort. I set up a call and Nicole really listened to what I want in a wedding and she delivered! Their services are complimentary to a bride so there is nothing to lose. They are amazing! -

We reached out to Liz for our destination wedding to Mexico! She gave us detailed input about each resort we were considering and suggestions on others we hadn't considered. She spent the time helping us decide on which resort to choose based on what we were looking for, and we felt confident to proceed with her agency. We were then assigned Suzanne Pelzer as our travel agent, and she continued to provide excellent support! Suzanne was extremely responsive, kind, knowledgeable, and supportive of us & our guests! Suzanne was even quickly available on the wedding day to jump in and provide support on an issue! They clearly have a relationship with the resort, as every questions/concern I had, Suzanne made sure got addressed (which can be very difficult due to busy wedding departments!). We even had a guest that didn't book through Suzanne, call her the day before his flight for emergency help (he had booked his flight to Punta Cana, instead of Cancun!) and she quickly got him pointed in the right direction! We felt Suzanne went above & beyond the whole way through. I would highly recommend using Suzanne & Liz Moore Destination Weddings! -

Liz was recommended to us by a friend and her team did not disappoint. They are patient, responsive, dedicated and have your back.
Liz was able to find options for our Mexico wedding and our friends and family coming from across Canada and England. She answered all our questions in a timely manner, jumping on the phone whenever was needed. After going back and forth with the best options for our wedding in Covid times, we ended up cancelling our trip and will be hosting the event locally.
I would definitely recommend Liz and her team to plan your destination wedding, she's the best! -

I am so unbelievably grateful for the incredible service Allison Tathum provided me. Her professionalism and responsiveness helped alleviate so much of my wedding stress. She really took the time to listen to my needs and concerns and helped me and my guests pull off a destination wedding in less than 6 months! She was also very helpful in assisting my guests with their bookings and any questions that they had. I really don't think I could have pulled it off without her! It was 1000% worth it and wouldn't hestitate to recommend working with Allison especially, or any other Liz Moore representative. Thank you, Allison! -

Keeley and I had been working together for about 8 months planning my wedding in Cuba when the CORVID epidemic hit hard and led to the unforseen and unfortunate cancellation of it.
I can only say she must have some angelic genes because I am sure a normal human could not have done a better job than her. She was always very quick to reply (even when she was out of office) which was really reassuring, she always went above and beyond in making requests from the resort and trip providers to help make it the day I envisioned, and she kept me really calm when at times I was ready to lose it.
Overall, the experience was excellent and although it had to be cancelled for now, the wedding will still happen as we want it to, in Cuba - just need to wait a little longer - and we will book again through Liz Moore and request Keeley to take care of us. We always felt like she had our best interests at heart and tried tremendously to ensure all my requests and concerns were dealt with.
I could not have asked for a better coordinator and would highly recommend her and Liz Moore for any future destination wedding seekers.Liz Moore Destination Weddings & Honeymoons's reply:

We were initially recommended Liz Moore services by a friend who mentioned they made the planning process a breeze. After our experience we couldn't agree more! Tammy our destination wedding planner was excellent - she had been to many of our top resort choices and was able to provide very helpful insight. She was also very responsive to emails. The process from making decisions, to booking was very smooth and our guests all had a fabulous experience and vacation.
