From the moment we had our first meeting with her, we felt she was knowledgeable, confident in what she does, and passionate. Throughout the entire process, she was always quick to respond, offered suggestions that would help us maximize the budget and was so pleasant to work with.
On the day of the event, she made sure everything was perfect to the last detail and even our guests and family all had great things to say about her as they all saw that she was making sure no detail was missed and that everything was on time which was very important to us. Where do I begin with how wonderful Elena was as a wedding planner? When my husband and I got engaged I knew I needed someone to help me plan our event that was organized, professional and understood my vision. I met with Elena about 5 months before the wedding and we just vibed really well and to me that was 100% needed for my special day! 3 weeks before the wedding, I knew all the coordination of all the little details was coming and Elena stepped in and helped relieve all that stress from me. Elena is a consummate professional whose exceptional organization and communication skills helped make my wedding planning easy and anxiety-free. I had hired Elena two months before my Toronto wedding at the Distillery District while still at home in Calgary. Through phone, email, and Skype chats, she answered my many questions, researched additional vendors, and kept me on track. On the wedding day, she liaised with all vendors and staff, decorated the entire reception room, handled a minor emergency, and ensured that the timing of absolutely everything was on point. My sole regret is that I didn't hire her earlier. I know that I would not have been able to relax on my big day if I hadn't had her there to make sure my vision was properly executed. I HIGHLY recommend her. She was worth every penny of the very reasonable price she charged for the excellent service she supplied. Thank you so much Elena!

Extremely disappointed with Elena and her assistant coordinators.

My wife and I had decided to use them for month of coordination. We barely heard from Elena until two weeks before the wedding, and luckily my wife had planned every detail.

Firstly, her assistant, Glenda, saw my wife’s dress getting caught and threads coming apart and was just standing there staring while our content creator had to come and take care of it. This is not a content creators job.

My wife had spent countless hours creating detailed books and folders that went over every detail leaving no room for error - yet the coordination was sloppy. During the ceremony, Elena and her team were unorganized and hadn’t reviewed the updated groupings of who was walking down the aisle. Should we not have known every last detail, it would have been incorrect. The assistant coordinators allowed guests to be seated during the ceremony whilst the parents of the bride were walking out. The Groom was sent down the aisle 30 seconds before his cue to enter the aisle and had to wait in the rain once he realized the music and timing was off for his entrance.

During the reception there was a lack of presence in the room and notifying the MC when he should go up to introduce the speeches. Good thing we knew every last detail to our wedding plan and were able to coordinate this ourself.

Overall, the coordination was sloppy. Hopefully, Elena and her team will take these things into consideration and be more attentive to the details.

Elena did an amazing job managing the day of my daughter's wedding. She is extremely organized and efficient and ensured that everything went as planned. Was also very impressed with her attention to detail. The day was perfect Elena and the rain waited until after the outdoor ceremony and photos. If you’re debating on whether you need to get a wedding planner.. don’t! You need one, and specifically, you want Elena

She was my saviour, not just coordinating on the day of, but she also handled all the planning related to catering, including staffing. Her recommendations were on point, and she was also very open to working with our preferences

In the few days leading up to wedding, we had many fires pop up, and having Elena speak on my behalf w several vendors put them all out - and even got us a couple of swift refunds!

One of the fires, the day before the wedding, was that one of our selected dessert options was not available. Elena remembered this was very important to us, as its my husbands family favourite - she calmly and swiftly found an amazing replacement, and she even went to the new vendor to pick up the pastries on the day of the wedding!

Elena is equipped to handle any situation with ease, provides quick solutions, and will keep you very calm. Honestly, I changed my mind so many times on the Order of Events, and she was so patient and accommodating with it - she just made it all seem so effortless
