When we decided to elope we didn't know all that much about the area and knew that we needed someone local to help us with the planning process. Meeting with Christianne at Elope in Banff, we instantly felt at ease and were excited to begin the planning process. We began with a vague idea of what we were looking for and Christianne and her team created a perfect day we will never forget. The result of their hard work was the most absolutely gorgeous day where every single detail was taken care of. The locations they took us to led to breathtaking photographs we can't help but look at constantly. Elope in Banff had the entire day under control, and because of that, we were able to be present and truly enjoy every moment without having to worry about anything. When we were discussing the dinner of the wedding night, the only way I could describe my vision was "borderline fire hazard" and I am happy to say no hazards were involved with the beyond stunning tableset they put together for the evening. We want to share the biggest thank you to Christianne and the Elope in Banff team for giving us the wedding day we had always dreamed of!Elope In Banff's reply:

I’m “just” the sister of the groom, but Christianne and her entire team made the whole day go flawlessly. My brother and his wife eloped at the Fairmont at Lake Louise and it was perfect. From makeup to photos everyone was so professional and so fun to work with. Christianne made sure everyone stuck to the schedule. They had one plan for the ceremony, but plans changed and it was an even better plan! They did a wonderful job communicating this with everyone attending. You would not have known any of the team members were there during the ceremony. Christianne and her team did a wonderful job at crowd control especially when photos were being taken (by the photographer and on-lookers). Everyone was so wonderful and I would highly recommend this entire team if you plan on eloping in Banff/Lake Louise!Elope In Banff's reply:

Our elopement day was everything we dreamed of and more, all thanks to the incredible Elope in Banff team. From start to finish, every detail was perfectly thought out and executed—it truly felt effortless and exactly what we had envisioned.
As someone who’s very Type A and used to planning everything myself, I was amazed at how relaxed I felt throughout the entire day. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The team handled everything so professionally that I was actually able to be fully present, soak in every moment, and focus on marrying my husband and sharing that special experience with our closest family. It was such a gift.
I had sent over inspiration for my hair and makeup and the types of photos I wanted, and every vendor remembered without me needing to say a word on the day. The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise was the most stunning location and created the dreamiest backdrop for our ceremony. We also ventured to Bow Lake for additional photos, and the scenery there took our breath away. Every single shot and video turned out flawlessly—we’ll truly cherish these memories forever.
We’re already counting down the days until we can return to Banff for our anniversary and relive that incredible day.
The entire vendor team deserves special recognition:
* Stephanie Roy (hair and makeup) was so efficient and had us ready ahead of schedule, which made the morning feel calm and stress-free.
* Kalla Ramberg Photography was amazing to work with—so easygoing and professional. She worked seamlessly with Jasmine Davies Productions, and together they captured the most beautiful, emotional moments in both photo and video.
* Carl Shields, our officiant, played such a meaningful role in our ceremony. He made it truly unique and centered on our love and commitment to each other—it was heartfelt and personal in every way.
* Caitlin and Christiane did a fantastic job managing the ceremony space. Despite people walking the path near our location, they kept the focus on us and maintained such an intimate atmosphere. I didn’t even realize they had been coordinating in the background until afterward—that’s how seamlessly and efficiently they worked.
If you’re thinking of eloping in the Rockies, Elope in Banff is the dream team. We can’t recommend them highly enough.Elope In Banff's reply:

Impeccable service. Christianne, Simon and Caitlin took care of everything for us over the course of two days in Banff. I cannot recommend this service enough. Elope Banff listened to exactly what my husband and I wanted for our day. They talked through different options and found a balance between what we wanted and what we could afford. We wanted to get married in the winter, and hike a mountain to a private spot. Our wedding planner pulled a sled with all of our gear up a 20 min hike and our photographer captured every moment. They were so friendly and made our day so much fun. When it came to the big moment, my husband and I got to say our vows and felt like we were the only two people on the planet. Just the most amazing experience, and we even borrowed the sled on the way down :)Elope In Banff's reply:

I cannot recommend EiB enough. Christianne made planning from another country so easy, with fast response to emails and flexibility for some late changes in attendance. She was an amazing day-of coordinator, making sure everything was fun and ran smoothly. We were able to have our perfect wedding with zero stress, which I didn't even think was possible. Caitlin from the EiB team making sure the room was set up for the ceremony and dinner (along other things I'm sure) was also amazing!
Christianne truly works with the best vendors, from amazing glam to gorgeous flowers, and everyone captured our inspiration photos to a T and then some.
Simon was a spectacular photographer. We had never done professional photos, but he put us so at ease and made it so fun (even when we were freezing to capture the perfect outdoor photos). Getting sneak peeks so quickly was just the cherry on top!
To anyone considering a true elopement or micro wedding in the Banff area, I cannot recommend this team enough. You will not be sorry to work with EiB for your big day!Elope In Banff's reply:

We cannot thank the team at ‘Elope in Banff’ enough! From start to finish they did an absolutely fantastic job at ensuring our special day in Lake Louise was truly magical.
Christianne’s warmth, professionalism and brilliant attention to detail ensured the wedding planning from abroad was a breeze. Her stage managing of the wedding on the day put everyone at ease and ensured the day went perfectly, and that we, as the bride and groom, felt like royalty! Simon was an absolutely brilliant photographer, and went above and beyond to capture every shot possible, and we couldn’t be happier with the stunning photos.
Thank you so much to the entire team for ensuring our day was perfect. Elope in Banff surpassed our wildest expectations and will always have a special place in both our hearts!

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience than what Elope in Banff created for our wedding! The whole day went by like a movie and still feels like a dream. From start to finish, EIB made our elopement so special, easy, and stress-free. They took care of every detail, from suggesting locations (complete with pros and cons for each) to handling the required paperwork, coordinating our flowers, and even helping us choose the ideal time of day for that golden mountain glow. The team’s local knowledge and passion for the Banff area truly made a difference — they knew all the most stunning and private spots.
Christianne was incredible at listening to our vision and enhancing it with creative, personalized touches. She thought of details we’d never even considered but absolutely loved in the end. It was clear she cared about every aspect of our day, which helped us relax and fully enjoy the moment. Communication was seamless, even though we were on different continents with an 8-hour time difference. All we had to do was travel from Germany to Banff and show up. Meeting Christianne beforehand also made a huge difference; on the day of our wedding, it felt like being with a friend rather than a stranger, which made the ceremony feel even more special and heartfelt.
Twyla, our commissioner (chosen by Christianne), had such a warm, kind demeanor that she instantly took away any nervousness we had. She brought a personal touch to our ceremony, making it feel truly intimate and wholehearted. Twyla’s words and presence made our vows feel truly special and meaningful.
A huge thank you to Simon, our photographer, who made us feel comfortable in front of the camera — something we didn’t think was possible! We both are camera-shy, but Simon’s & Christianne’s friendly, easygoing approach and guidance helped us relax and be ourselves. Simon captured the magic of the mountains and the joy of the day so perfectly. We couldn’t believe how stunning our sneak peek photos turned out and can’t wait to see the rest of them.
Thanks to EIB, we have amazing photos, unforgettable memories, and a day we will cherish forever. If you’re considering a beautiful, intimate wedding in the mountains, look no further. EIB is absolutely the best choice! Thank you for making our dream day a reality! And all this on a pretty tight timeline — we wouldn’t have been able to get married this year if we had tried to plan it ourselves. EIB pulled everything together beautifully and made it feel effortless! We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and are so grateful for their expertise, quick communication, and genuine care in making our day unforgettable.
