Listen you may think “what do I need a day of coordinator for”… that was my husbands thought process too — until he saw Maleila on the day of & everything she handled. My husband said to me “Wow, I actually don’t know what we would’ve done without her” and you know it’s major if a guy notices lol!
Maleila is absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. She takes care of everything so effortlessly, leaving the bride and groom to actually enjoy their day!

Extraordinary day of wedding services
Mel was our day of wedding coordinator and did an outstanding job! We loved working with the team and would highly recommend their services.
From our initial phone consult with Maleila, we knew we couldn't trust anyone else to help us with our wedding. She connected us to Mel and she's absolutely someone you want in your corner on your wedding day. She was organized, knowledgeable, and helped us navigate scheduling issues and vendor coordination. (Who knew things were timed to the minute? Mel knew.) Most importantly, she patiently put up with our questions and was always supportive throughout. We really felt like she listened to our concerns and sincerely wanted the best for our day.
On our wedding day, she and Melinda kept things moving so well – we were completely off in our own world and everything went off without a hitch. Mel was also our emcee and was engaging, funny, and warm. Melinda rallied everyone for pictures and we couldn't be more grateful for her help in capturing these memories.
I also used Maleila Décor for our venue and can't say enough about the service. They took our completely clueless concept and translated it into beautiful décor. Huge thank you for making this amazing day even more memorable! -

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how incredible Carl was on our wedding day.
There are so many moving pieces throughout a wedding, and knowing Carl was there handling everything gave us so much peace of mind. From setting everything up to coordinating the transition between locations, he made the entire day run so smoothly. He was calm, organized, and seemed to pick up on every little detail without us ever having to worry about it.
One of the things we appreciated most was how composed he was throughout the day. No matter what was happening behind the scenes, he always made us feel like everything was under control, which allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. Looking back, we know there was so much work happening that we never even saw, and that is a testament to how well Carl did his job.
We were so happy to have him as part of our wedding day, and he played a huge role in making everything come together seamlessly. -

The Best Wedding Coordinators in the GTA
Hands down the best service and I can't recommend using anyone else for your wedding except for DOWC and the team. We had our wedding in the GTA with approximately 140 guests. Carl Cheng was the lead coordinator and Melissa was the assist. Carl was with us every step of the way. Listening and adjusting to our crazy ideas during the preparation stage - he met with us on multiple video/phone calls to go through the list which made everything so much easier to plan. He also showed up at our venue to do a walk-through of the staging and set-up, along with helping us with our dress rehearsal. He handled the wild demands of our vendors & put his foot down when we needed him to. Not only did he make sure everything go according to plan, and put out all our "day of fires", he also was our bubble-machine! Melissa also flawlessly assisted with all our decor setup and having our vision/dream come to life. I can confidently say to anyone who wants their dream wedding, they should have the DOWC team help them out. -

A wedding comes with so many costs which hopefully you consider worth it on the day of. One thing for certain is that the support, organization, thoughtfulness, and coordination that our coordinators provided was the best thing that we spent money on. Our coordinator, Mel, was so patient with very demanding family members, was keen on keeping my husband and I's peace, and displayed so much professionalism and open communication throughout the entire process. We can't recommend Melaila's team & DOWC enough! -

We initially did not plan on having coordinators to save money, but as the date got closer we realized we had made a big mistake as there were too many elements that required day-of (or week-of) care. We reached out to multiple coordinators on short notice, but DOWC stood out as and they were extremely quick and professional.
Once we signed on with them, we worked with Awesta and she was amazing! She covered all of our bases and there were so many things that she organized in advance without us even realizing it. She made us aware of a ton of small details we had missed out on, and she put together a solid timeline super quickly. We didn't have to talk to a single vendor on the day! We really appreciated that once she had the general gist of what she wanted, she needed very little direction and she was able to let us focus on our wedding as much as possible without sweating the small stuff.
There are a number of things we would do differently if we had to do it all again, but one thing we both agree on is that we would go with DOWC and Awesta (and the day-of assistant, Kirsten!) again in a heartbeat. The peace of mind and seamlessness was worth every penny, and I can't recommend them enough. -

My husband and I got married at the Mississauga Convention Center in May 2025. We both have two very busy careers and work over 40 hours a week and we live in the USA. Our families are both in Mississauga and it was very important to us to host the wedding in our hometown so our guests would not have to travel but of course planning a destination seemed like a nightmare - until we met Chantelle. Chantelle is very personable and experienced. She guided us through everything we needed with frequent video calls, Excel files and work sheets to organize our vendors and timelines. If I did not have a vendor, no problem, Chantelle quickly found me multiple options to choose from or she would vet options I found online. Leading up to the wedding Chantelle coordinated timelines with all the vendors so that we did not have to make time for those calls. We would meet with her and let her know what our priorities were and concerns and she would address those issues with the vendors on our behalf. She has excellent communication skills with calls and follow up emails. At times I felt Chantelle had my wedding as a higher priority than I did, which gave me so much peace of mind. The day of the wedding Chantelle handled all communication with all vendors and I felt no stress the entire day because I had complete confidence that even if something did not go according to plan (which it did) she took care of it and let me know after the fact so I could enjoy my day. I would 100% recommend this service with Chantelle to anyone who is looking to enjoy their wedding day stress free with their partner and guests. You will not be disappointed. -

My husband and I were not initially planning on getting a day of coordinator for our wedding, but when we saw their reviews, we HAD to hire Maleila and her team for our special day. Maleila is not only the most amazing and organized person, she was also the best hype woman on the day. She made every single one of our requests come to life and we could truly turn our brains off to be fully present on our wedding day. I would 100% recommend her and her amazing team!!
