  If I could give Barb higher than a 5 star I wouldn't hesitate!!! Hiring a planner (we decided to go with day of coordination- which is really much more than just day of with Barb) was something I knew I needed to do- I get very stressed out if things don't go to plan! My husband, on the other hand, saw it as a place we could save some money. However, I insisted for my sanity it was something we needed to do and after meeting Barb my husband 150% agreed!! Barb is a godsend!! I cannot stress enough how fantastic she is at her job!!! She was someone I could touch base with throughout my planning process if I had questions or wanted a vendor recommendation. When it came closer to the wedding Barb took care of all the itinerary planning, a huge stress off my shoulders! Barb truly took charge from the rehearsal onwards- it made me so relaxed knowing that everything was in good hands, and that someone as meticulous as me (probably even more so) was overseeing everything! Knowing Barb was in charge on our wedding day allowed me to truly relax and enjoy the day rather than being stressed out about something going wrong! Barb, you're amazing and I cannot say enough good things about you! I would 150% recommend Barb to any and all friends and family getting married!!

  Barbara made our night stress free and ensured we enjoyed every single second. She contacted all our vendors, took care of co-coordinating drop offs / pick ups, and created the most detailed timeline ever for us! Her attention to detail was outstanding and we were grateful to have her! Thank you for everything! Xx

  From the moment we met Barb, we were extremely impressed by her remarkable attention to detail, exceptional professionalism and unparalleled commitment to her clients. Having Barb in our corner made the entire wedding planning process so manageable. Barb's expert touch was apparent from the very start - when our venue suddenly closed, Barb contacted us with a game plan even before the venue itself! She was always incredibly prompt in responding to our questions and seamlessly coordinated all arrangements with our numerous vendors. Knowing we were in Barb's capable hands on our big day relieved our stress completely. The peace of mind she gave us enabled us to feel totally at ease and simply enjoy our celebration. Barb was the greatest gift we could have given ourselves and our guests and we can't thank her enough for our perfect wedding day!

  We are SO glad we had Barb helping us out with the planning process and on the big day. Clearly not her first rodeo, Barb is well-versed in all things 'wedding', and kept us on top of important details in the planning stages that we hadn't thought of, as well as had great suggestions to keep all aspects of the day flowing seamlessly. Most importantly she gave us peace of mind on the big day, ensuring everything went as planned. She ran around like a busy bee all day so we didn't have to--by getting corsages to family members, liaising with all the vendors, bringing me a glass of water before I could lose my voice during my speech, and even packing up decorations for us at the end of the night. And those are just a few small examples. She thought of everything before I did and was always "on it". Thank you Barb for making our day perfect :)

  If you are debating hiring an event planner for your wedding, stop debating! We did the same thing and ultimately decided after meeting Barb we would be stupid not to hire her. It was the smartest decision we made. Barb will make your day so fun and easy, you won't understand how people even get stressed out on their wedding day. From the weeks leading up to your wedding to the big day, Barb will be there every step of the way bending over backwards to make sure everything is perfect and if it isn't perfect you have no idea because she is that good. Our day was absolutely perfect and Barb was there until the bitter end making sure everyone was getting home safe and all the loose ends were tied up. She is the perfect amount of fire that you need to get stuff done mixed with the kindest heart to be an ear for your parents when they talk about how proud they are of you. We cannot thank Barb enough for all she has done for us. We HIGHLY recommend Piece of Cake Event Planning!!!!

  My wedding was very unique in the fact that it was a three day event; Friday BBQ with camp fires, Saturday wedding with personalized concert for guest, and Sunday brunch. Planning the wedding was certainly a group effort, and without Barbara it would not have gone nearly as smoothly. She found our camp counsellors for the kids camp, coordinated and communicated between various venders, and didn't even mind getting her hands dirty while helping with the decorations. Barbara provided great advice and counsel when needed, and always very pleasant when interacting with myself and my husband.

  Barbara was our event planner for our wedding. Cannot express enough how big of a part of our wedding she was. From the smallest detail to keeping everybody on track Barbara was there for us! We had a back yard farm wedding and we could not have done what we did without her. AMAZING. If you want a planner Barbara is the one to choose!
