Hi, I’m Salo, owner and lead planner behind Aura Weddings & Events. By day, I am a marriage counsellor, and working closely with couples is where my heart has always been. That background deeply shapes how I approach wedding planning - with empathy, clear communication, emotional awareness, and a deep understanding of relationships. I don’t just plan weddings; I support people. My approach to planning is cheerful, organized, and focused, and I am also known for being an excellent problem solver, especially under pressure.
Since becoming a certified wedding and event planner in 2019, my passion has been creating celebrations that bring people together in meaningful ways. I take the time to understand what truly matters to you, helping transform your vision into a seamless, joyful experience - while taking the stress off your shoulders. On wedding days, you’ll find me managing timelines, problem-solving quietly behind the scenes, and ensuring everything flows smoothly so you can stay present and soak in every moment.
Working alongside me is my husband Vince, our lead rental coordinator, whose creativity and attention to detail help bring each event space to life. As a husband-and-wife team, we understand the importance of communication, teamwork, and trust. These are values we bring into every wedding we’re part of.
When I’m not planning weddings, I’m usually connecting with loved ones or soaking up inspiration from life’s little moments. I’m a proud cat mom, love spending quality time with my husband, and we enjoy staying active together, whether that’s on the tennis court or curled up watching a good horror film. Wedding planning isn’t just my work; it’s a reflection of who I am and what I care deeply about.
Hi, I’m Vince, co-owner and lead rental coordinator at Aura Weddings & Events. By day, I work as a sales manager, which means I’m well-versed in logistics, numbers, and budgets - skills I bring to every wedding to make sure every detail runs smoothly.
I also love being part of the celebration itself! With my energy, charisma, and social flair, I often take on the role of MC, keeping guests engaged, entertained, and making sure the day flows seamlessly. I thrive on creating joyful, memorable moments, whether I’m behind the scenes coordinating rentals or rallying everyone on the dance floor.
When I’m not drafting your quote, flipping your venue space or MCing, you’ll find me spending time with my amazing wife, staying active (especially on the tennis court), and enjoying life to the fullest.
