Where should we start? We all know... a wedding can be stressful and a big headache. You want it to be the best day of your life and you want it to go as smoothly as possible so you can enjoy every second of it. All of this came true the day we met Maxine. Though we thought we had everything under control, Maxine ended up proving us that a wedding planner is much needed throughout this whole process. She took care of so many details (that we did not think about), was able to plan the whole day from make up appointment to speeches... without forgetting anything. She really made our lives easier. On the day of, Maxine was there to ensure that everything was flowing and that we would not stress about anything. She made sure the decoration at the venue was perfect (from chairs to centerpieces) and that our guests had everything they needed. The night was a success and she has a lot to do with it. Maxine was nothing short of amazing. I was organising our 'after party' wedding reception from overseas, so I was looking for someone I could trust, the ability to get things done and most importantly to understand what I wanted to achieve for our special day. I arrived in Montreal a few days before the event and after our email exchanges, I met Maxine for the first time at the venue. The first few minutes of our chat, I knew that I had made the right choice and she just seemed to be on the same wavelength as me and understood what I wanted.

On the day, venue looked so amazing, you could really tell the hard work that had gone into our special day and there was great attention to those little details. Even the black cafe tables which I was worried about, looked fantastic. She has a real talent, and I could not have wished for anything more, and to me it was perfect in every single way. I remember walking upstairs and just being blown away about how beautiful and romantic it all looked. It was the perfect continuation of our wedding in Australia and exactly what I was trying to achieve (and more).

I'm quite a hands on person and having coordinated and organised the styling elements myself in Australia and not being able to be there to do things myself in Montreal, I wanted to find someone that I clicked with and understood exactly what I wanted, someone that I could trust t get everything done to how I envisaged it. And she delivered! We've had so many comments about how beautiful everything looked, people commenting about all the little details.
