  We absolutely loved our engagement photos, wedding photos, and wedding highlight video from Alvin and his team. They caught so many beautiful, candid moments perfectly. The pictures were unique and beautifully edited. Definitely recommend SIM Wedding!

  I can't say enough good things about Alvin and SIM Wedding! I'm so glad we chose them to capture our wedding both in photograph and video. From the very first meeting, Alvin walked me through the entire process and SIM's approach to documenting the day, as well as the extra effort they make to ensure proper lighting and backdrops for candid photos. I planned my wedding from out of town and Alvin was always available to chat and put to bed any concerns that popped into my head during the planning process. He is a wealth of experience that I utilized whenever I had doubts about my wedding itinerary, banquet set up, etc. On the day of the wedding, Alvin and his team were rock stars. They went above and beyond to get incredible shots without pulling any attention away from the activities that were occurring. I received many comments from family and guests about how impressed they were with how the team worked. The photos and videos perfectly captured the the events and the emotion of the day. We could not be happier with the final result and neither can our families. I'm sure SIM Wedding doesn't need another rave review, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to express my gratitude. Book them, and you will not be disappointed!

  Where do I even begin?! From the engagement shoot, to the surprise my hubby gave me @ rehearsal to the actual wedding day, Alvin & his team is just rocketed my expectations. At first, I was a little worried because I'm an Asian girl with a wide face, and not that super skinny, and definitely have problem looking pretty in photos. Alvin captured my beauty and made me look super pretty in all of his photos, he found my prettiest angles. For the engagement shoot, the normal 2 hrs as per the contract turned into 4 hours because I really wanted to take advantage of the nice summer weather since our wedding will be during the Vancouver rainy season. During the whole shoot, Alvin was patient, professional, told me how to pose, made us feel comfortable and relaxed and just had fun. The photos were natural, and truly reflected our personalities. Many times, he had to be in awkward positions or even lay on the dirty floor and I never once see any annoyance. Then only 2 or 3 days later, the photos all came back. He even photoshopped as per our request a nice invitation pic for us for free. Also on the rehearsal day, it had a pretty bad storm outside and he still came with one of his photographers and took photos and familiarized himself with my wedding planner and the location. He also took tonnes of photos for us for my hubby's surprise for me. The entire time, he felt like a friend and not a detached photographer who has seen tonnes of couples. Then on wedding day, he was patient and never wasted time, whenever there's some free time, he suggested some shots. He lead us on on some pretty nice spots and some unexpected poses that captured our romance. In Chinese, he's a very 用心的 (puts his soul in his work) photographer. Then, he and his team was working until 8pm without food and not a bit of slowness or complaint. My hubby and I are extremely happy with the service we got. We are going to recommend them to all of my friends!! Overall, just thanks alot Alvin & Sim wedding!!

  I am very grateful to have found Alvin as my wedding photographer! He is very professional and experienced. Not only took great photos for us, he pretty much planned half of my wedding for me as he also referred me great makeup artist and videographer. He is so flexible that he personalized a package catering to our needs. Thank you Alvin! I hope to work with you again in spring when the cherry blossoms is back!

  I didn't get to see the same-day edit video on my wedding day but many people came to me complimenting how good the video was, and I know I made the right choice of going with SIM Weddings :)

  We truly cannot say enough fabulous things about Alvin & Sim Wedding. From our very first meeting Alvin was so professional, easy to get along with, flexible, detailed and creative. Both our highlight video and full length video far exceeded our expectations, we are so thrilled and would certainly recommend Sim Wedding!

  Alvin from Sim Wedding was our videographer for the wedding. Alvin is professional, easy-going, and a fantastically fun person to work with. In addition to producing a great video for us, Alvin was able to provide us with edited raw footage for us to show our family oversea who could not attend. Alvin delivered what we asked of him in a reasonable timeframe, all the while doing it within our tight budget. I would recommend Alvin and Sim Wedding to anyone looking to get some great footage from their big day!

  We booked SIM Wedding for photography and videography on our wedding day for 10 hours. We also had engagement photos and video with Alvin. Absolutely worth everything to have them on our important days. Alvin is very flexible and professional. Always respond to our messages and calls in a timely manner. This is very important when you plan a wedding with lots of stress.
  We booked SIM Wedding one year before wedding and I wanted to wait for cherry blossom to have our engagement session. Alvin contacted us a month before the season and arrange days with beautiful weather and blossom for us to pick. Really appreciate with everything he have done for us. Very responsible before and after with great patience and great skills.
  My wedding day was crazy and I just leave everything to Alvin and his team from SIM Wedding. They did great job to capture our days with beautiful moments and details. Everything we requested to capture was all included in the photos, I really wish I could spent more time to communicate with them before the wedding so I can have some special shoots captured the way I want. SIM Wedding did great job as they listen to their client and remember what they want!
