The most beautiful pictures - I couldn't have imagined it better! Calvin and Shahin were fun to be around, calmed my nerves and blended into the party like they were a part of the gang! They made this nervous awkward bride look comfortable and beautiful in all the pictures! Not only was the process seamless as the days led up to the wedding (timely responses no matter how many they were, meetings when needed etc) but captured every moment of the wedding perfectly so that I would remember everything forever.
And then came the pictures - WOW. Even the box that the USB and prints came in were so elegant. From start to finish they amazed me and everyone at the wedding were in awe of all the pictures taken.
Worth every penny.

Photos Straight Out Of A Magazine!
So so so so so HAPPY we chose Purple Tree Photography for our wedding! The photos we received so far are incredible. Literally looks like out of a magazine! We had Lelania as our lead photographer and Lisa as our second photographer. They gave us a lot of directions during our shoot. They made us very comfortable in front of the camera.
Cannot wait for the rest of the photos. We are very excited to share with our family and friends!
We wish we hired them for our engagement shoot. That was our only regret. But definitely recommending PT to everyone!

Purpletree is a big name in the wedding industry and we are very happy that they lived up to our expectations and exceeded them based on their expertise and professionalism! Derrick was amazing to work with and his ability to turn a casual photoshoot into jaw dropping shots was amazing!! We had a great consult with Sasha and we were made aware of all of our options. We felt so comfortable with Derrick during the engagement shoot that the wedding felt so natural and easy going for us! We are so pleased with our pictures and the price point is worth it considering these pictures are what will allow us to remember the wedding years later! Magazine Quality Photos
Purple Tree Photography is a very high-end wedding vendor, with out of this world quality of work that is equal in all of their shooters. Our final wedding photos were edited to look as though they belonged in a magazine, so stunning, so beautiful. Everyone is obsessed with high-quality they all are! Definitely worth the price for these stunning final photos.
HOWEVER, my lead photographer was disappointing to me. We had several meetings prior to the wedding day, where at each one I explained the same wishes and wants and absolute must haves, each meeting I said the exact same list of things, she even wrote them down at one meeting, BUT my wishes were not communicated to the 2nd shooter, and I did not receive those must have photos that I wanted so dearly, which to this day (almost a year later) still make me so upset. After each meeting with my lead I left bothered, we did not have a great connection, but I was hoping that on the day of the wedding it would be different, NOPE, looks like I got her on a bad day, maybe she wasn't excited for the 13 hours ahead, maybe she just didn't vibe well with me and didn't like my personality, who knows, I never will, but she was not a happy camper, she looked as though she didn't want to be there. Even my bridesmaids and my mom kept asking me if she was always like that, why does she seem so miserable, I never knew, and I still don't know the answer.
I didn't get my photos with both of our parents, which she always assured me was a basic shot they ALWAYS did, guess not, I had a double sided cake which I got plenty of photos of one side, but the other side was forgotten about, got a photo of the BACK of my cake topper, not sure how much sense that makes but I got it, didn't get a photo with our ring boys, had to rush at the end of the night before she was leaving to get a photo of me with each of them while they were in their PJS, but I only ended up getting a photo of one kid in my final product. Even at my first consultation and every meeting after that and in my e-mails, I always made sure to mention I do NOT like black and white photos and if it is absolutely necessary to have a photo be black and white if I could have a colour copy of it as well as 9 out of 10 times I will prefer the colour option, it's not something that came out of the blue, an entire year I had mentioned the same thing about black and white photos and mentioned the same shots, but that didn't happen and I had to make a request after the fact to have my colour copies of my black and white photos cause about 97% of all the black and photos I received I didn't like, and our lead also gave up on us post wedding, and our 2nd shooter met with us to discuss the wedding album, met with us to retake the missed shot that she could retake, and communicated with us the entire time post wedding, I feel this is the job of our lead shooter, but like I said, I don't think she liked me so she finished our wedding and said SEE YOU. I really do wish I made a complaint in the beginning about her and how we didn't vibe well and that she always left a bitter taste in my mouth after communicating with her, but I didn't and now I'm missing extremely important photos to me that I will never ever get back because I didn't stand up in the beginning to complain and because I was hopeful things would be different when it came to the actual wedding day. I tried to be positive polly and it blew up in my face.
In the end, the photos are beautiful, magazine quality in their editing so yes I would HIGHLY recommend Purple Tree but I do NOT recommend our lead, and I do suggest that if you get picked with someone you DO NOT like with then you should step up, because it will not magically change on your wedding day, you will still not vibe with them then and you will miss out on important photos because they won't listen, or just don't care to listen, and you'll have members of your bridal party asking you why she looks so miserable and ask you what you did to piss her off.
But the company as a whole is fantastic, the photos are out of this world, they are all high quality so you can blow them up as big as you like! And in a photo album? they are so dreamy. I have so many incredible shots of my husband and I that I have displayed all over our house.

Stunning work and highly professional photographers
Absolutely worth it! Their work is totally gorgeous and they make the process fun and enjoyable, I did my engagement session with Maya and my wedding photos with Maya and Giordan. It was over 40 degrees on the day of my wedding but they were so professional and patient with my bridal party the entire day. They are super responsive over email and very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the planning phase. I am not creative at all but I managed to have the most stunning photos thanks to Purple Tree’s guidance. Highly recommended!

By far exceeded all of our expectations
We had our eye on Purple Tree Wedding Photography as our wedding photographers from the beginning. They were worth every single penny and more. They by far exceeded our expectation in the quality of photos and how well they were able to capture the essence of our day. We had Derek and Nadia as our photographers and they were both so friendly, professional, and easy to work with that it honestly felt like we had our old friends with us. It was such a pleasure having them a part of our big day. Purple Tree's staff is very quick to respond and I also loved how easy their packages are to customize!

Purple Tree Photography
Before going in for a consultation, we checked out their photos online and really felt like it was our style and would capture our day the best. From our first meeting, we were ready to sign the contract and pay! Nadia was low pressure, and Purple Tree was the first vendor we booked. She wrote out an itinerary scheduling the day in our first meeting to determine the amount of coverage we would want, which was so helpful as the start of our planning process.
I was a little hesitant because we also wanted videography and a same day edit video. I thought if we went with a vendor that did both, we might get a better deal, but we decided to go with the photographers of our dreams over the small savings of booking someone who does both. It was absolutely no problem, and we ended up booking one of their preferred vendors for video. The teams worked together well, and I'm glad we went with the choices we did.
When we realized we would need 2 photographers to capture the day, I was worried that the pictures might look different. We looked through books and books of their work with multiple shooters, and each photographer had a similar look and vibe, so there was no more concern there.
We ended up going with a package that came with an engagement shoot. The engagement shoot is a MUST! We had never taken any professional or couple-y photos.... the engagement shoot had me totally ready and looking 100% from the first minute of the wedding day. We both learned our angles and gave some tips to our family and friends. We also had some beautiful pictures to print and display at our reception. Fund fact - we scheduled our engagement shoot the morning we left for Vegas for our bach parties so it was just thrilling and exciting all around.
Things you can't see in the photos: the photographers both being so sweet and caring, checking on us to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted before certain special guests left, giving direction and controlling the flow of the day... I had a wedding coordinator, but she worked more on preparing the venue, decor, other vendors, etc. when we were taking pictures with the bridal party. I felt that Nadia and Eugene really kept the pace and the people organized. No one was standing around confused or waiting and unsure... They knew when they were needed, and when they could go back to the suite and hang out.
Leading up to the wedding, we communicated an appropriate amount with Purple Tree, and there were lots of unexpected details that were so sweet... I won't go into detail in case you decide to book with them :)
In terms of delivery time of our photos - exactly as they quote, if not earlier... 5* :)
