She is kind and supportive, there is so much going on and you are the center of attention. Anastasia is calm, relaxed, and rolls with the day so that you do not feel overwhelmed.

Our pictures took us right back to the day as if we were reliving it. I love her artistic perspective and she got all the right shots without us feeling like a camera is stuck in your face all day.

I have been an event planner for 10 years, worked with hundreds of photographers and I can safely say she is my new #1. Even my husband who is an editor and video producer was blown away and since I chose her, I got brownie points. Good way to start off a marriage. :)

I am so glad we chose Olive Photography for our wedding photos! She is a master of making people feel comfortable and capturing all of the special moments. During our search for photographers, we were looking for someone who could capture all of the moments of our day through candid documentation as well as assemble group shots and romantic portraits. Anastasia strikes a perfect balance.

Anastasia is not only naturally talented; she is friendly, approachable, professional, and efficient. As soon as she arrived at our home where the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready, she got right down to work moving furniture and finding the best light for setting up detail shots of us getting ready and my mom zipping me into my dress. Throughout the day—which I will add was the hottest day this summer—she put our family members, bridal party, and guests at ease with concise and clear cues to make sure everyone looked great and the composition of each photograph was balanced and flattering.

Anastasia’s style is primarily documentarian, which means we got so many beautiful candid moments of us and our guests. She unobtrusively moved around throughout the day capturing multiple angles of the ceremony and the reception. She managed to get a photograph of every guest at our 75-person wedding.

Finally, we were nervous about our 8-hour photography timeline with speeches and dinner running late. Anastasia stayed longer to capture the father-daughter dance and we are forever grateful. Thank you for preserving these memories in the best way possible.

Anastasia was, hands down, our favourite vendor for our wedding. She was an absolute superstar with our engagement photos and on our wedding day, not to mention she's just the coolest. Always punctual and accommodating, she made our bridal party and family feel comfortable and excited for portraits, and she took the loveliest candids throughout the day. She has such a wonderful eye too for those little nooks and crannies that will give the most lovely light and photos. Anastasia is simply amazing at her job. She shot our engagement pictures and our wedding this past weekend and we are SO happy with her. Ive known Anastasia for two years when I got engaged I knew she would be my photographer for my wedding. We recently had our engagement shoot with Anastasia of Olive Photography and I have nothing but great things to say. From the beginning, she was a great communicator. There was a miscommunication (on our part, not hers) about the date for our engagement shoot and she went out of her way to make sure we were able to make it work.

The engagement shoot itself was fantastic. Before we even got our photos back, we were both convinced we made the right choice for our wedding based on her personality alone. She just immediately puts you at ease, which is wonderful if you are not a person who is naturally comfortable in front of the camera, because that feeling does come through in the photos.

We received the photos back ahead of schedule, and they were perfect. We both love them and have received lots of compliments from our family/friends. We are so excited to have her booked for our wedding next year.

We used Olive Photography for our engagement pictures and we loved Anastasia so much we used her for our wedding as well!
