I cannot possibly recommend this team enough. Their portfolio clearly shows their talent with a camera (all our photos turned out gorgeous!) , so I'm not going to speak on that.

They work great as a team, communicating with each other efficiently and respectfully. They clearly admire and understand each other very deeply, which allows them to blend their styles into stunning work.

They have a natural ease not only around each other but with everyone they interact with. Every person who interacted with them loved them. We had a small wedding with about 30-40 guests. They were kind and respectful to everyone without sacrificing efficiency. They made even our most camera shy guests feel at ease. They were great about working with our 85lb dog, too.

Every single phone call, email, conversation, etc was perfect from start to finish. As an introverted, anxious, type A bride they were always on the ball, always organized without adding pressure, always able to adapt and guide me. They showed me they were invested in our wedding while remaining calm and fun.

They adapted beautifully to challenges. When we found out pretty last minute that my elderly grandmother would not be able to attend the wedding they helped us make a timeline shuffle so we could do a small ceremony at her home and have pictures with her, as having those moments with her recorded was the most important thing for us to capture that day. My grandmother sadly passed away in January, but she did get to see the photos and videos from the whole day.

Oh, and they did all this while in the middle of a global pandemic. If I could afford to fly them across the country to photograph every single set of family portraits or life event I would. They are simply the best.

Honestly the best photographers we have ever dealt with! Their style is something you'd see in a magazine. I was able to give a bit of direction and they would run with it and make it better than ever! Daniel and Hoda are such a blast to be around, it makes all of the photos come out just that much better. They were so flexible with our family photos and adjusted the plans to meet our autistic nephew's needs too which was very wonderful to see. They were such a fun addition to our wedding day! We couldn't recommend anyone better for wedding or engagement photos!

Daniel & Hoda were amazing to work with! We were lucky to have them capture our engagement pictures, and when we had to alter our wedding day plans, they were flexible and accomodating. There are "photographers" and then there are PHOTOGRAPHERS! Daniel and Hoda are PHOTOGRAPHERS! and trust me, you want them to take your pictures. Their pictures are creative, timeless, dramatic, and artistic. From the moment you meet them, you feel like you have connected with great friends, and this relaxation translates into their pictures.

Daniel and Hoda captured every little moment that a bride and groom can think of on their wedding day. Not even that, but they would go out of their way to lend a helping hand and made our day so special. They have so much positive energy and are very organized when it comes to capturing the bride and grooms vision in a short amount of time. We had so many laughs with these 2 photographers, we would highly recommend them!

We hired Monarch Hill Photography for our August 10th wedding and we couldn’t be happier. I came across their work on weddingwire.ca and I immediately felt drawn to their style of photography, it was exactly what I was looking for. I reached out and within the next 24 hours I took the plunge and booked them. Daniel and Hoda were so responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process. They made our wedding day absolutely perfect and they literally made us feel like professional models. I can’t even comment on how many of our guests came up to us and sang their praises about how impressed they were with them – they were professional, yet funny and entertaining. (I have to give Hoda a special shout out because before we went to get our newlywed photos done, the bottom of my dress got full of mud and I was panicking and ran to the bathroom to wash it out. She came with me and literally helped me scrub the mud out of the bottom of my dress while I fanned my sweaty face. Talk about going above and beyond!) They were snapping photos the entire day and I’m in love with the amount of candid shots they got of all the little details. Every time I look at our pictures, I get so overwhelmed and I cry happy tears because I can’t even believe they are my photos. They have such a vintage and romantic feel and they are absolutely stunning and take my breath away. I have a hard time narrowing down my favourites because there are so many that I love. I’m obsessed with the newlywed portraits they took of us and they truly embody the love between my husband and I. We tied the knot on our ten year anniversary together and now I am so happy that we have these photos to look back on for decades to come.
