When we found Megan’s work, everything looked really fun! We loved that there was such a great variety of smiling people and that the colours were vibrant. We also loved how many people included their pets!
We were most nervous about posing, but Amanda made the posing part so easy - we just felt like we were hanging out outside with a friend, which is exactly what we wanted.
We love the candid moments and the moments where you can tell the smile is genuine. Amanda putting us at ease really helped with this. Photography is 100% worth it for a wedding expense, and the team made everything so easy. We can feel that both Megan and Amanda love what they do.
Every time we look at our photos we are transported back to our dreamy and perfect day!
When we first stumbled on Megan’s work, we thought “OMG THIS IS THE ONE!
When initially looking for photographers, we were worried about the editing styles and ability of photographers to take more genuine and candid shots. We also didn’t want someone who had to have everything staged and posed.
But, the guides and questionnaires Megan sent us about what photos we wanted during the wedding day really helped us sit down and plan out what we wanted so that we had no regrets. My husband doesn’t like taking photos and he even commented after the engagement shoot that he surprisingly had fun!
We love how natural all the photos are, even the posed ones! The editing is stunning and very realistic! You would not regret it if you booked with Megan, it would be the best decision you made.

Bright, realistic, authentic, wedding photos!
We knew after our zoom consultation that she was the right photographer for us. It was easy to chat with her, she answered ALL our questions, and it just felt like she “got” us. I reccomend doing an engagement shoot as it was lovely to meet her and get a sense of how photo shoots work, haha. I also love having beautiful photos of my partner and me in our non-wedding clothes.
Our wedding day was fantastic and Megan made us feel so comfortable as she captured everything. It was so easy working with her, we didn’t even really notice she was there! Our friends thought she was just another one of the guests taking photos.

Most days you can find me geeking out over business, snuggling with my cats, going for a walk on the beach or enjoying a vanilla soy latte!
Megan Maundrell Photography is where the true to life, timeless, and fun wedding portraits are at... and did I mention candid? I have no interest in posing you like barbie dolls.
I'm a big believer in being a tad weird, so let's get honest, vibrant and out there!
Most days you can find me reading, cooking, drinking an iced chai latte, goin for a walk, and hanging out with my cat + dog (they are literally the cutest, no lie).
My biggest priorities during our session are that you are enjoying yourself and feeling comfortable + relaxed in front of the camera (i’m the chillest one on the team). I know just how intimidating getting in front of a camera can be, which is why i use lots of movement + prompting for you to get in the groove and forget there’s even a camera there.
I’m stoked to create something with you!
Most days you can find me exploring the mountains on foot or by bike. I feel at home in nature, enjoying the sunshine.
Iced chai's are the key to my heart (Along with sushi and dogs, but like, who doesn't love those!).
I love the ability to turn special moments into heirlooms that you can pass down for generations. So what do ya say? Let's meet in the mountains for a hike and a shoot!
