I was a little worried with not meeting Jalisse before the wedding, but she was incredible! She was so out going and made everyone feel so comfortable. Our wedding ending up being late due to unforeseen circumstances there for left us with not as much time for photos, but she was able to do every photo we wanted

Jalisse is very easy to work with and her enthusiasm for photography really shines through. She is very experienced and organized. She has a keen eye for detail and she went above and beyond to ensure that each set of photos was just right. From fixing the groomsmen’s boutonnières, to making sure the lighting was correct for every family photo.

We would highly recommend Jalisse, she made our wedding day so much fun!

We did our Engagement photos with Jalisse in Winter 2021 and loved her energy, and after that session we were so excited to also have her photograph our most special day as well!

Jalisse was recommended by a photographer friend of ours. We never met before the wedding day but when Jalisse arrived, it was like we had been friends for years! She quickly assessed the best places for photos and made us feel completely at ease despite our hatred of posed photos. We hired Jalisse for our engagement photos at Moraine Lake, Banff back in 2019. She was about 7 months pregnant and running around with so much energy and spunk. Her personality is so outgoing and she instantly makes you feel comfortable.

So when it came time to book our wedding photographer, I struggled to find anyone who’s style and personality we liked since no one could compare to Jalisse. The only problem was that we are based in Boston, MA, USA - about 2k miles away from Jalisse…

I am BEYOND happy that she instantly accepted our request to have her fly out to Boston to shoot our wedding 2 years in advance. Even through a global pandemic she made it to us and never tried to back out. She has the most incredible personality. All of my friends and family kept raving about how awesome she is. She is so honest but funny and also makes super funny noises to get pets to look at the camera. I honestly cannot say enough great things about her. Not to mention our photos are INCREDIBLE!!!! If you have the chance to hire Jalisse, stop contemplating and do it. You will not regret it. I only wish we could get her to move closer to us and we had more reasons to hire her again.

Jalisse took our engagement photos almost 2 years ago at the ranch where we were married. The photos were incredible. We were so happy to hang on to her for our postponed wedding. She was high energy and professional. Our families couldn’t stop commenting on how good she was. She even rode in the back of a side by side up the hill for sunset photos (and subsequently lost her phone)! The sneak peak photos are amazing and we can hardly wait for the full album. We loved Jalisse and would recommend her to anyone!

It’s taken my too long to write this review, but must share our incredible Moraine experience with Jalisse last year. She was the absolute best for our engagement photography! Not only does she have an art with her photos, but she gets so involved and is so much fun to work with. She was climbing rocks, hiking through dirt, and going above and beyond to get the most ultimate photos. I went into it telling her my fiancé hates getting photos taken and she couldn’t have helped out more with her fun loving attitude. It was a proven success when my fiancé even
states at the end, “that wasn’t so bad, pretty fun actually!” Thank you again Jalisse, we loved working with you and will definitely be back for more shoots in the future!! (:

We booked with her 5 days prior to going through with our mid COVID wedding and we could not be more in love with the photos she took. She really stepped up and was so professional! Would recommend!

There is so much to say on why I would recommend Jalisse! She was fun, professional, creative.... you can tell she is passionate about her work. I had SO many comments and compliments on her work (everyone loved the photos she gave us) and how great she was to work with! She was the perfect combination of fun but serious. She felt like she just fit in with our group, and also I don’t feel like she missed a single moment. Upon receiving our wedding photos back, I felt extremely happy, and like I had gotten so much value.

We were so happy Jalisse photographed our wedding, she was incredible and the photo’s were stunning! She is so easy to work with and made it fun, even while battling the cold weather outside! She was also pregnant and we were her last wedding before she had her baby, but you wouldn’t have known it (besides the bump) she was full of energy and didn’t stop going!
