J. Wheeler Photography is a wedding photography company operating out of Agassiz, British Columbia. Owner Jesse Wheeler specializes in photographing lifestyle wedding portraits, focusing on candid shots and incredible moments that couples want to remember long after their celebration. He primarily employs contemporary portrait and photojournalistic photography styles in his work.

Services Offered

J. Wheeler Photography works carefully with couples to provide an experience that is enjoyable and as free of worry as possible. Though Jesse is located in the Eastern Fraser Valley, he’s happy to travel to help bring couples’ dream weddings to life. Wedding packages with this photographer are comprised of at least 10 hours of photography. In addition, couples will have access to a second photographer for the ceremony, an online gallery, full-resolution copies of all photos, and more.

Summer 2021 videography

We were on the fence about doing videography for our wedding day but when we found Jesse we had a good feeling about it. We just wanted to hear our vows and have some highlights of the afternoon, very simple. Jesse seemed like the perfect guy, relaxed, professional and understood what we were going for. Then the pandemic hit and we knew we wanted something to share with the loved ones that weren’t able to attend in person and he did not fail to deliver a video short of perfect! It brought goosebumps to all that watched it and it truly brings us both back to that amazing day at the Lodge. I am so glad we have this special piece to look back on 50 years from now. He completely exceeded our expectations and we are beyond grateful for all his hard work!

An amazing photography experience!

My husband and I were thrilled with the quality of photos and Jesse’s generosity. With the uniqueness of a Covid wedding, Jesse and his team bent over backwards to accommodate us and make our day special and safe. Additionally, his calm demeanour helped make us all feel relaxed and at ease. His attention to detail, kindness, and quick response time to messages helped make our photography experience a great one! We HIGHLY recommend working with Jesse!

Amazing Flexibility

I had a wonderful experience with this photographer! He was very responsive and adaptive in a very crazy time! I highly recommend.

During the global pandemic, we had to replan our whole wedding and the photographer was there with us every step of the way, offering help and assistance along the way. The day turned out wonderful. It was definitely one less thing to worry about.

And the photos were fantastic to boot! Very easy to shoot with and felt natural and easy.

Easy going, professional. 5 stars.

Jesse did mine and my husbands engagement photos & our wedding photos. He was so easy to work with. Professional but fun. He captured some truly raw moments and put in a lot of time and effort with our wedding party.. when I say a lot of effort, I mean we were all in party mode and he still managed to get all 14 of us taking great photos. My husband and I were super pleased with our experiences with Jesse!!
Once life calms down he will be shooting family photos for us and we can’t wait!!
10/10 recommend.

Captured all the important memories!

Jesse was great to work with! He was very professional and photos were delivered on time. He is great to work with too especially if you are uncomfortable in front of the camera like me. When I was first looking for a photographer, I had a very specific look in mind and Jesse was able to work with me to achieve it. I booked an extra session with him where he was given free range to do his thing and the results were even better! If you aren't too sure with what you want, just give him free range! He's got a good eye for composition and lighting!

I am very happy with my wedding photos. There were so many little moments that Jesse was able to capture that I missed on my wedding day. I was so happy sharing those photos with my family and friends and getting the story behind them!

I highly recommend Jesse!
