We hired Grindstone as the DJ and photographer for our wedding. They were amazing to deal with through the entire process! Chris was very helpful and quick to answer all of our questions! The DJ and photographer were both top notch! Very professional and skilled! We got some great photos and the DJ had everyone dancing and having a great time!
Besides all of the they were very reasonably priced and had some cool extras, like AI photo recognition to instantly send photos to people!

I was worried about hiring a DJ for our wedding but Chris made us feel like we were in good hands during the planning process and Tendai did an awesome job coordinating with everyone day of and of course selecting a great set of songs based on our notes throughout the evening. The music was the right volume - not too loud to hear people if you wanted to visit rather than dance. And the music was curated to the age of the crowd. I was pleasantly surprised how much the aunts and uncles and generally older crowd danced. Then once they cleared out, he really zeroed in on what was working for the remaining (generally younger) crowd. I would absolutely recommend them! -

We hired Grindstone for our wedding, and our experience with them was fantastic! Chris was super responsive and helpful for the monthsa/weeks leading up, our DJ Tendai killed it with the music, and the Photographer Jim was phenomenal. My husband and I had never worked with a professional phtotgrapher before, and Jim was great at posing us and working with both the space and our timeline. We also received our photos within a crazy short timeline. Amazing value for an amazing service! -

We hired Grindstone for both our ceremony and DJ services during the reception. They did a fantastic job working with our officiant for the ceremony and provided the necessary sound equipment as well. During the reception the music was perfect and we had people on the dance floor all night long. Would highly recommend working with them! -

Amazing service starting with the first email asking for a quote. Always prompt with responses and made booking so easy. The photographer was a few minutes early and so helpful throughout the day.. He went above and beyond without any hesitation. Definitely a life saver quite a few times. The DJ was accommodating to the MC and music was flawless and kept the dance floor going all night. Highly recommend this company. Getting the photos instantaneously was a huge bonus and all our guests enjoyed seeing their photos right away to be able to share! Thank you Chris, Jim, and Tendai!!! -

Our wedding August 16, 2025. We had Curtis from Grindstone. They travelled to our rural venue, and arrived on time. Played everything we asked and kept the vibes going. I, as the bride has so much fun dancing. For our cocktail hour, we had musicians playing for a bit, and Curtis was really good about noticing when they were taking breaks, to fill in the gaps before the reception and dance. Grindstone was a really great business to work with and had great communication. Highly recommend. Thank you!
