Karin was incredible! She was energetic, kind, thoughtful and encouraging while honest and direct --- she made the whole experience comfortable and fun! She is dedicated to her craft, going to great lengths to get the right shot, and pausing in the moment to capture love, a look, a spontaneous smile or moment in her shots! The creativity, beauty and insight that first attracted us in her portfolio shone through and we are so thrilled with the results in our "sneak peak" photos. Thanks as well to her assistant Alanna, who was so positive and helpful throughout! We can't wait to see the rest of our photos! -

I HATE being in front of the camera (and being the centre of attention period) but Karin changed that. She made me feel relaxed and at ease and not at all awkward. When we booked her I was totally anti the engagement shoot that was part of our package but she talked me into it by explaining that it was how she’d learn to photograph us for our wedding by teaching us how to be with the camera in our faces. She was obviously right because our wedding photos blew us out of the a water. The people we’ve shown the photos to so far have commented on how good she was.
And she totally rolled with everything, we had a few transportation hiccups that out a kink in plans but she made things work. Kids melting down? Not a problem she still got awesome photos. Neurotic bride with fears about appearing on film? She made me look good and have fun doing it! She was so much fun to work with that I’m actually wishing there was a reason I could hire her again!

I can't recommend Karin and Fotogratopia enough. We were struggling to find a photographer who has a unique style and that didn't require us to get a second mortgage on our condo to afford her. We found Karin and fell in love with her work. We instantly decided she was the one for us when we had our meeting. She is so sincere and interested in what's important to you. Her prices are so reasonable, especially for her caliber of talent and experience. We told her our budget and she worked with it instead of trying to upsell us. Our engagement session was so much more fun than we imagined. She was helped us with our timeline and very organized and easy to work with on our wedding day. She kept us on time and helped sort out a few timing kinks that came up with the venue. We really appreciate how much you enhanced our day and really just took charge of taking care of stressful situations. You really went above and beyond and still managed to not miss a single moment of our wedding! We think Karin had a clone, because she was verywhere at the the same time! We had so many of our guests and family members comment on how great she was. Our pictures are so creative, unique and very "us", just like she promised they would be. Thanks Karin! We had our destination wedding in Vancouver. We had meetings over Skype with several photographers but fell in love with Karin and her work. We find many other photographers' work looks the same as the next photographer. Karin has her own style and it's clear from looking at her portfolio that she shoots for her subjects. Everyone looks comfortable and sincere in her photos and this drew us. Our pictures and our photo book are spectacular. She's quick to reply to any communication, very professional but very personable and sincere. The value in the packages are excellent as well. You will not regret hiring Fotogratopia for your wedding.Karin Inge Photography's reply:

UBC Golf Course Wedding
100% I would recommend Karin! She is UNREAL to work with and below is why:
- Extremely professional and provides ample excellent photos
- Made Ryan (now husband!) and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Note: I highly recommend an engagement shoot as its GREAT practice for the big day.
- Karin is SO good and moving large wedding parties around to get just the perfect picture.
- It amazes me where her mind goes and where she wants pictures. It's really fun to be apart of the masterpiece of pictures she puts together. Stand her, stand there and we never question it as I have COMPLETE trust in Karin.
- Karin is so organized. Tbh, I regretted hiring a day-of wedding planner b/c Karin was WAY better and played both roles - excellent in both areas. Karin, let me know when you branch out to wedding planning too. You should! You're a natural!
- Karin is so caring and flexible. We got rained out on our engagement shoot, but that didn't stop Karin from coming up with fun ideas to do in the rain. I still think back to that day and how much we all laughed taking pictures in the forest.

YOU are UNREAL to work with. You guys are so funny and cooperative and spontaneous, and totally lovable. I was actually keeping in mind your love of and black and whites and keeping an eye open for locations that would lend to great b&w photos, so thanks for trusting me! I keep getting told to be branch out to planning and I do enjoy it... but then when I would have the opportunity to do jazz hands in rainy bushes with awesome people?
