We cannot say “wow” enough! We wanted a photographer that matched our energy and would capture all of the real moments of our day - we aren’t big on tons of posed photos. As soon as we met with Josh and saw his work, we knew he was our guy! He was very prepared for our meetings and walked us through everything so clearly and patiently. On wedding day, he was upbeat and fun and kept everyone loose and laughing. It was 103 degrees but he was a champ and truly made the most of every shot. He read the moments well (ie. knowing when we were done taking pictures and just wanted to join our guests for cocktail hour) and rolled with the punches. The sneak peek photos we got the next day were breathtaking - I couldn’t help but show them to everyone still in town for wedding weekend festivities! Flipping through our full wedding album was a dream. I cared a lot about the photographer because the photos are the part that lives on forever and we could not be more happy with how Josh captured our day. Our photos were beautiful, authentic, fun, and heartwarming. Thank you, thank you, thank you Josh! -

Josh shot our winter wedding in -20 degree weather. He was happy and energetic the whole time and very creative with his photos. Plus the photos were beautiful! Would highly recommend! -

When we met Josh and Carly at our consultation meeting, we instantly connected with them both and knew they were the right choice for us. Josh and Carly were extremely easy to communicate with via email and phone, especially when planning a wedding for July 2021 when wedding restrictions were constantly changing due to COVID and not really knowing how large our guest list would be! Our wedding day was quite busy, but Carly and our second shooter Heather, were able to shoot for a tea ceremony, first look, wedding party photos, ceremony photos, family photos for all guests, reception photos and a sunset sneak away. The day was jam packed, but Carly & Heather were able to capture every professional, and candid moment with ease. They connected with each of our wedding party and guests and we have received such positive feedback from all attendees. Carly and Heather were not only our photographers, but also assisted by ensuring we were well hydrated, entertained the kids during the family photos session, and ran to get our flowers for our photos. They were willing to step in and help with anything to keep the day running smooth. Our photo album has over 1200+ edited photos, and the quality and moments captured reassure us that we made the right choice in Barnett Photography! -

Josh & Carly were the ultimate photographers to capture our wedding day and who we are! I met these two in 2016 when they took our family photos, and again in 2020 for our engagement session and wedding day. Josh and Carly are efficient and accommodating. They constantly make you laugh and feel completely comfortable, especially for those who do not like being in front of a camera! I will always recommend this duo for their eye in photography, their professionalism, and for their wonderful personalities. -

We had Carly and Josh shoot our wedding and we were so happy to have them. They were flexible with everything in our day and really went above and beyond to ensure they fit the vibe and feel of the day for us. They were also assertive enough to ensure they got some amazing shots for us. I was originally not looking forward to posing for pictures but with them everything felt so natural it was such an enjoyable part of the day. They were also so helpful in recommending flow for the day and other vendors. I would highly recommend them! -

They did our engagement session and wedding day photos - we received over 800 edited photos that are all amazing. We loved working with Barnett photography and would recommend them to anyone.

I would highly recommend this couple for everyones wedding! They have photographed my wedding and my two siblings wedding as well as many friends of ours! You won't be disappointed!
