We chose Daniela’s 12-hour package because I wanted her with us from my morning get-ready all the way to the dance floor—and it was worth every minute. The package also included an engagement session at no extra cost, which was absolutely fantastic.

Daniela is exactly who she says she is: responsive, respectful, a natural leader, and an incredibly talented photographer. Her tagline, “here to make you feel seen and heard,” is spot on because she truly made us feel that way throughout the entire process.

From our very first communication, Daniela was a dream to work with. She offered thoughtful recommendations for engagement session locations, wedding day timelines, and photography tips. This was so appreciated by me as I was the first in my family to get married and had no roadmap. Our engagement shoot at R.C. Harris Water Plant was pure joy, and the photos were stunning. People even thought the location was in the Mediterranean!

Both my husband and I aren’t the best with posing, but Daniela guided us every step of the way. She provided pre-session questions to help us prepare and created an environment where we felt safe to relax, let go, and just be in love. The result was natural, joyful photos that truly captured who we are as a couple.
One thing that really stood out to us was how Daniela captures true-to-life color and celebrates melanated skin!!!!! Black couples, you can trust Daniela to capture you well! Both my husband and I are dark-complexioned, and she made sure our photos reflected our natural tones beautifully. She also provides teaser photos within a week of the event, which was such a nice treat, and her overall turnaround time for albums is very reasonable compared to other vendors. She does exactly what she says she will do, and consistently delivers.

What sets Daniela apart even more is that she focuses on you, the couple. Wedding days can be overwhelming with so many opinions, but Daniela always keeps the spotlight on the stars of the day. She has no problem standing up to others (respectfully, of course) when needed, ensuring that your wishes and vision come first (I witnessed this firsthand!).

On the wedding day, Daniela’s leadership shone even beyond photography. Some vendors dropped the ball that day, but Daniela noticed issues, stepped in when needed, and also knew when to step back and let others handle things. Her presence was calming and confident, which made a huge difference when I started feeling overwhelmed.

Daniela is now officially my go-to photographer, and I am so grateful for her talent, professionalism, and incredible presence on our wedding day. If you want someone who is not only a phenomenal photographer but also a true leader who always prioritizes the couple, Daniela is the one.

Daniela was absolutely amazing to work with! She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and we could not be happier with the photos. Neither of us really knew how to pose or be in front of the camera, but Daniela made us feel so comfortable. She gave great direction without it feeling forced, and helped us get rid of some of our awkwardness and truly be in the moment.

My wedding was in September of 2023, at Paradise Halls in Vaughan. Daniela and her secondary photographer Alie were awesome. Before the wedding, she recommended the location for our engagement shoot, taught us how to pose and was very helpful throughout the whole wedding process. She was very thorough, going over the details of the wedding multiple times and made us submit lists of family photos that we wanted. She also gave us an idea of what to expect on the day of and had our whole day planned out for us. We had a 2-hour delay due to my wife having an issue with her wedding dress. On top of that we had 4 kids under the age of 4 years old who ran on their own schedules, however, Daniela was able to work around all that and by the end of the night we got all of the family photos that we requested. We got our sample photos within a month of our wedding which was perfect for our thank you cards, and we received our full set within 3 months which was less than half the amount of time stated in our contract. The quality of the photos were stunning. It was nice to have someone who was so professional and experienced, she really did know what she was doing. I included a nighttime bridge photo below that I never would have thought to take but Daniela recommended we take it and it is easily now one of my favorite photos. I would definitely recommend Daniela, as she is very knowledgeable and super easy to work with.

I wish I wasn’t writing this, but I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience. The photos from our engagement shoot and wedding were okay, but for the wedding several key photos were unfortunately missed. My biggest issue with Daniela was the lack of professionalism once we got our photos and I followed up with her. I also wish she had taken some initiative or been a bit proactive at the wedding to try to get our desired shots.

My wedding day was chaotic and busy, but that’s most weddings and I would expect a wedding photographer to be able to navigate through that and take the initiative to get the necessary photos. She forgot to take getting ready photos of me (the bride), didn’t get photos of our rings at all, and while we chose to give up my husband’s solo photos with his family during the allotted photo time because we were crunched for time, I would’ve hoped she would’ve tried to follow up with him at some point afterwards to try to get some of the photos, in any way. We were also very clear from the outset photos with and of our family were critical to us.

I probably wouldn’t be writing this review if it wasn’t for Daniela’s lack of professionalism, especially at the end. We paid for 2 photographers for 8hrs and didn’t get the variety of shots we were expecting. When I reached out to her to ask for a few more candids and more poses (maybe 30 photos in total), she said she didn’t have anything. When I gave her an example of a shot I knew was taken, she conceded to sharing that one. At one point she just ignored my messages and I had to follow up with her days later, and she kept trying to avoid answering my questions or requests. When I finally called her to discuss, she was extremely defensive and dismissive, and kept saying the day was busy and that’s why she doesn’t have more (all weddings are busy!). Throughout these conversations she kept saying different things - at times saying she gave us the best shots, other times saying she already gave a lot, and other times saying she didn’t have any more to share. While she gave us a decent amount, a lot of the photos were random (eg a lot of photos peoples faces were covered) and again we didn’t get the variety of photos of family we expected for 2 photographers at 8hrs.

When I noted she didn’t get my getting ready shots or shots of our rings and I was trying to just focus on what was available, she said “I don’t know who was responsible for the rings” (and ignored my comment about the getting ready photos). This is one of the most basic shots to take for a wedding and I couldn’t believe her lack of accountability. A simple apology would’ve gone a long way.

She unfortunately just wasn’t proactive at all throughout the process. She didn’t scope out our engagement spot in advance even though she’d never been there, I had to follow up requesting both our engagement shoot photos and our wedding photos after delays on both, and the day of the wedding she didn’t take initiative herself to ensure what we wanted was captured, she had to keep being told what to do throughout the day (our guests also commented on her lack of initiative).

Again, I would’ve let this all go had she just had an honest and respectful conversation with me when I reached out to her after getting the wedding photos and took some accountability. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and was completely avoidable with some basic professionalism.

I would not recommend this person for the most special day of your life.

Daniela is an amazing photographer - talented, professional, punctual, and friendly! She did our engagement photos, as well as our wedding photography (with her second photographer Bella Chavez). They were both fantastic and made us feel comfortable during photo sessions, by giving us tips on posing etc, but they also captured beautiful candid moments throughout the day. They were very flexible and accommodating with our scheduling on a long and busy day (12 hrs). Daniela's technical skills with balancing the lighting/contrast in photos are also superb. We are so happy with the results of the engagement and wedding photos. Thank you so much Daniela!!!

Daniela was such a great photographer to work with for our engagement and wedding photos. Her creativity and passion for photography really shows through in her photos. She is a perfectionist and will keep going until she gets that perfect shot, and she gets lots of those! We started working with her for our engagement photos and she made it so easy for us and told us exactly what to do. When we received those photos we were blown away. Fast forward to our wedding day and again she told us what to do and made us feel so comfortable. Daniela knew when and where to get the perfect shots, with the sun and the best lighting.
