Beautiful family photo session
Agathe was a dream to work with! She worked around our travel plans and found a beautiful location was that worked perfectly for us. The whole session was laidback and very candid which made us feel comfortable which came through in our gorgeous and natural looking photos. She captured the vibe and mood I was imagining and she had our photos edited and ready for us in a timely matter. 10/10 recommend Agathe’s services and we are excited to have her capture future occasions! -

We hired Agathe to capture our wedding day on Vancouver Island in July. She also did an engagement shoot and honeymoon shoot for us! And we are just so incredibly thankful we found her. It has truly been a unique and beautiful experience working with Agathe. She went above and beyond for us - capturing images we didn't even know we wanted, taking us places we didn't expect to go (haha) and supporting us in unexpected ways.
Agathe's talent and passion is SPECIAL, we were blown away by her. The images we have from her mean so much to us and we feel we hit the photographer jackpot by finding her! Agathe is phenomenal at her job! My husband and I hired Agathe to take photos at our intimate wedding in Tofino this past August. We are still in shock by how amazing these photos turned out, we've had multiple people tell us that our photos belong in a magazine!! Not only does Agathe take breath-taking photos, she is so friendly, kind, and really helps add extra magic to a fairytale occasion. You will NOT be disappointed by her work and I promise that you'll want to be her friend afterwards!!Agathe Bernard Photography's reply:

Magical photos from a talented professional
I was blown away by Agathe's photos! She manages to capture so much essence in each image, the results are amazing. Agathe makes being in front of the lens so comfortable and easy, we had so much fun on the shoot! I love all the images which are edited beautifully; it makes such a difference to have professional photos for my business. I will definitely book Agathe for future shoots. -

With our 2020 wedding being a bit 'touch and go' Agathe adapted to our needs wonderfully. She is friendly and professional with an excellent eye for those stunning shots! I absolutely love how our photos turned out. They captured our day perfectly. I couldn't have asked for more - well maybe a second swan ;) -

We were so impressed with Agathe. She was thoughtful, helpful and has an excellent eye for capturing the natural beauty in the great outdoors which was what we wanted for our special wedding day!
This photographer went above and beyond. She literally went into the ocean to take our photos...and not just her feet! Full wetsuit, into the water. The photos look like something out of a magazine.
Agathe is kind, energetic and ready for adventure! She was accommodating not only to us but our very small children and also to hiking into our chosen destination.
She brought extra help who helped us and the kids as well as worked easily around our non existant schedule.
We would highly recommend her if you are looking for something special. We received hundreds of photos.

Biggest regret
The only thing I regret about my wedding, was having Agathe as our photographer. Overall, she was difficult to work with, does not actually provide what she says in her wedding packages, and her photos were nice, but not worth the money or nightmare. First, her wedding “package” included an engagement session/get to know each other which I think is an important component. When we asked her about setting it up, she said it was just something nice she does and doesn’t have to do it. She eventually agreed to do it, but we’d have to drive to wherever and whenever worked for her. She then refused to give us the engagement photos until the ENTIRE contract was paid in FULL well before the date set in our contract and before the wedding itself. The wedding “package” was also to include a usb with all the photos and some good quality prints. All she has sent us was a link to download the photos off her websites, which were of course enormous files and too much for my laptop to handle! I had to borrow my dads computer to download them all because she still won’t send us a usb of them. She also said the prints were just supposed to be a gift….our venue unexpectedly sent us a booklet with photos they took…that’s a gift. The least a photographer could do is send their clients some prints, which shows how little she cares.Agathe Bernard Photography's reply:

Agathe was great at capturing the moment in a very authentic way, which was the most important thing for us. She made us feel very comfortable. During the ceremony, she was very discrete, so much that we forgot she was there capturing this intimate moment. I was delighted to get pictures of all of our guests as well as the details we did not have time to enjoy on this busy day. We received the images in a timely manner and they are beautiful. I would highly recommend Agathe as your wedding photographer. -
