We’re deeply grateful to Kit and Kevin for hosting our tea ceremony and officiating our wedding. From start to finish, their kindness, professionalism, and thoughtful attention to every detail helped create an incredibly meaningful and unforgettable experience.
So many of our guests—both in person and tuning in via livestream—shared how much they appreciated the calm, joyful energy Kit and Kevin brought to the day. Their guidance throughout the entire process was seamless and reassuring, and they were wonderfully flexible and attentive to our needs.

I'm so glad that we chose Kevin to lead a beautiful & meaningful marriage ceremony at our wedding. We wanted to incorporate Chinese and Jewish cultural traditions and personal touches into the ceremony, as well as bilingual explanation, all of which which Kevin handled with ease and the entire ceremony had a very natural-feeling flow. He has a perfectly subtle sense of humor to lighten the mood while keeping everyone engaged and present. Thank you for helping us create such a special moment to share with all our closest friends and family! -

We had Kevin officiate our wedding this past weekend. He is super responsive, by text or email.
He conducted our wedding ceremony in English and Mandarin. Primary language being English.
He was on time at 4:30pm for a 5pm ceremony. I have nothing bad to say. He is reliable and well dressed for the ceremony.
We had an unplugged ceremony, so he had made an announcement for a photo minute prior to the ceremony. A great option to choose if you may want to have some photos without having tons of photos with cellphones.

We cannot be happier that we chose Vancity Officiant for our wedding ceremony. We had the privilege to work with Kevin, who was so kind, efficient, quick to respond, and funny! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about his officiating our wedding, both in English and Cantonese. Wonderful Experience & Thank You
We had a great experience with Vancity Officiant! Kevin was our officiant and he was hilarious and amazing! We had an issue with our schedule (mainly on my part), but he was flexible and was able to accommodate us to ensure that I had a smooth wedding. My parents and in-laws are not fluent in English, so during the rehearsal, when our wedding planner was explaining what will happen on the day of wedding, Kevin went ahead and explained/translated in Cantonese. He was professional but also added some sense of humour to keep it light and memorable.

We are over the moon with how incredible working with Vancity Officiant was! Our officiant unfortunately was not able to perform our ceremony for us, and we had less than a month to scramble and find someone who could! We looked at a number of other vendors who were *crazy* expensive; we only wanted a simple ceremony and did not need an $800-$1000 package! Thankfully, Officiant Kit was able to step in for us with only a couple weeks notice, and delivered on an absolutely beautiful ceremony. She was quick with responses, helped us set up all the details we wanted, and made it a very easy process overall. Day of, she even calmed the nerves of my now husband! I cannot recommend her enough, as she truly made our day special, and I am positive her partner (the other available officiant!) would’ve been just as incredible to work with. Thank you Kit!!
