Our close friend performed most of our ceremony, but Bob stepped in to do the legal side of things and it honestly still felt warm, personal and special. He was so kind, funny, and totally inclusive — which meant a lot to us as two brides. He made the whole process feel easy and relaxed, and he fit right in with the energy of our day.
We’re really grateful he was there with us — and we’d absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for someone supportive and down-to-earth.

As an older couple who both had been married previously, we were looking for a small-scale, family-only ceremony. Bob's Humanist ceremony suited us to a tee and he delivered it with professionalism and a touch of humour. We are not from the Port Perry area but chose it due to the proximity to our adult children. Bob helped us find an amazing venue when all of the usual spots didn't produce what we were looking for.

We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant than Bob! Our wedding was held at a unique venue 'The Roxy Movie Theatre' and Bob made the day truly unforgettable. He went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and brought such a warm, personable energy to the ceremony. His perfect mix of professionalism and humour set the tone beautifully, and we received so many compliments from our family and friends about how engaging and heartfelt the ceremony was.

Bob saved the day!

Bob was not our original officiant, but he absolutely saved the day for our wedding. Our original officiant has a serious family emergency the morning of our wedding (worst nightmare), and could no longer perform the duties required at our wedding.

Luckily, Bob was retained. He was able to learn the vibe of our non-religious ceremony quickly. He learned the unique aspects of our ceremony, showed up early, met us/our family, and put what was an overwhelming experience to rest.

He was clear, well-spoken, funny, and truly a great officiant. After the ceremony, he took care of all the administrative stuff, and walked us through what was involved.

Bob was a fabulous officiant for our backyard, Sunday wedding. He was communicative, flexible, and prepared throughout the entire process. We appreciate that he took the time to not only introduce himself over Zoom, but also visited our venue to do a walk through of the day well before hand.
