We found Marlene through WeddingWire while searching for an officiant in the Niagara region, and we connected with her from our very first conversation. She was warm, easy to talk to, and made the entire planning process feel relaxed and effortless.

We had the pleasure of meeting Marlene at her beautiful property before the wedding, which gave us the opportunity to get to know each other better. From beginning to end, she was incredibly supportive, helpful, and flexible with our plans.

Our wedding took place on August 22, 2026, at our property in Fort Erie. Mother Nature had other plans for us that day, and we suddenly had to switch to Plan B, adding tents throughout the property and changing the ceremony time to allow our guests to arrive from the hotel. Through all the last-minute changes, Marlene was wonderful, flexible, calm, and so accommodating.

On the wedding day, she was warm, funny, elegant, and simply lovely. Most importantly, she helped us create a ceremony that felt completely like us: beautiful, emotional, meaningful, and full of laughter.

My now husband an I planned our wedding in 2 weeks. What was supposed to be a house warming party became our wedding. In a rush and to be honest, in a huge amount of stress we found Ms Gallyot. I explained to her the situation and the rush we were in, and also wanted to make sure that marrying a same sex couple was not an issue for her. She took the time on that first call to first find availability and then went ahead with her question, discussion about the pricing and her contact information. On the phone I could already tell she would be the one, her warmth and kindness showed and she was eager to know more about the vibe of our weeding to dress up accordingly.

The day of the ceremony Marlene was so organized and took moments with our witnesses and close friend to make sure everything was running on schedule.

Our ceremony was beautiful and Marlene was such a positive energy! a beautiful speech and a touch of humour (that helped release the pressure for my husband and I knowing we had to say our vows after). Everything we hoped for happened and we are so glad she was part of it. She took pictures of us arriving that she sent to us after. a Gem !

From our very first point of contact to our wedding day, Marlene went above and beyond to make our day exactly what we wanted it. We used her AirBnB to get ready, the beautiful vineyard as the backdrop to our wedding ceremony, and the on-site event barn for our 30-person reception. In the planning stages, Marlene took the collection of photos we compiled as inspiration and brought it all to life and coordinated the amazing catering and staffing. It's evident that she's been doing this for many years!

Marlene has a huge collection of wedding decor and materials to complement the theme of anyone's wedding as she certainly did with ours. She took care of everything from the reception table settings, to our ceremony altar and surrounding decor. Some of my favourite items that Marlene supplied were the champagne wall, the rustic wine barrels used throughout the reception space, and the LED "Mr. & Mrs." sign that was set up above our sweetheart table.

All in all, I cannot thank Marlene enough for making our day nothing short of perfect!

Marlene was absolutely amazing with helping us with our wedding. We had to reschedule it and replan a wedding in 3 weeks due to Covid and she was so responsive and helpful from the get go. She did an amazing job performing our ceremony. She went above and beyond and let us use her property for the ceremony and she even decorated it for us. 2 days before our wedding was a goth/ Halloween themed wedding and she absolutely transformed the space! She was so kind and supportive through the whole thing and really eased my mind.
